Makeda in internet sales catered to my needs and kept in touch with me through my quest for a new car. Upon entering the dealership, I was then greeted by my Salesperson, Mikhail Boltarets, and couldn't have been happier with my transaction from start to finish. Mikhail was patient with me and worked with me from my trade, to the sale, the vehicle's options and also with financing. I have purchased many luxury brand cars in my lifetime and I will say that this was the most seamless, effortless, transaction I have ever experienced. I am loving my new Acura and pleased I chose Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura as my dealership. It is definitely a 'five star' place to tend to all of your new vehicle needs. More

My wife and I had gone to look for a certified pre-owned MDX at this dealership. I was told meet Daniel Lasko, who introduced himself as Danny, asked us what we are looking for and when I told him that we c MDX at this dealership. I was told meet Daniel Lasko, who introduced himself as Danny, asked us what we are looking for and when I told him that we came to check out for a used MDX, he asked us sarcastically "Will you be buying a car in the next 2 months". Not sure why I would go to a dealer with all my family if I wasn't looking to buy but I told him yes. I was then introduced to Ryan Vanhara who was very helpful and patiently explained to us the differences between a base model and a tech package. After knowing the differences, I decided to go with the base model as none of the tech features interested me (I am not a GPS person). We were shown 2 vehicles which Ryan helped us with a test drive and asked us how they felt. The vehicles were fine in general but didn't match our interior color requirement (taupe) so we requested him to let us know if they get any models so we can come back and look. At this point, Danny comes by and suggests us looking at another car that just came in, which he was going to bring out. The car was dirty (yet to be detailed) but looked good with the required interior and a decent exterior color though it also had the Tech package. When we asked for the price, I was asked to come up with my own number to start with. My initial response was that you give me your price and if its closer to my range I will take it otherwise we will wait for other cars. However, Danny insisted on us coming up with a price which I understand is a normal practice. We had to go out for few minutes so we came back a little later with a price that we thought to start with. As with any other dealers, I was expecting them to say either its good price or in all probability that it’s too low to sell the car and start the negotiations. But to my surprise, things started going in the wrong direction where Danny starts to talk in an insulting tone asking how we could give such a low price and that he doesn’t even want to talk to us anymore. I have mentioned to him that the number I came up with is based on our considerations and that I was not factoring the Tech package as I wasn’t looking for one and if he thinks he can sell it for more to someone else, he is free to do so. However, things got personal here where he starts making fun of us by asking some other sales person how much he would sell this car if it were him and that he is wasting his time talking to us. I tried to indicate nothing is personal and that both of us trying to get the best deal out of it and suggested we focus on the negotiations. Danny now comes up with the price they are asking for the vehicle, which was higher than our range. So I revised my original price and put forward the same. Danny said he will talk to his boss and comes back to say they don’t even want to do business with us anymore because we started with such a low price (!). Now I come back within a few hundred dollars close but he says he doesn’t want to negotiate and that you take it at the quoted price or leave. So we left and when I called Danny back after sometime to see if we can get it for a couple of hundred less but then he kept saying “see you tell me you will not be calling but now you are calling me” and that the price he quoted was good. At this point, the couple of hundred dollars were not really an issue but my wife and I weren’t happy with the way the conversations happened so she wanted me to drop it off as she is OK to buy the car from elsewhere. I then decided to call Danny’s manager (Michael Lasko) to let him know that we are going away because of the treatment to us which not only took our deal but also bunch of other referrals that we could have brought along. Shockingly, Michael defends his associate’s behavior and that I shouldn’t have started with such a low price offer (!). He kept telling me how bad it was to deal with us and that he doesn’t even want to do business with us anymore. I tried to rationalize the happenings but now he said if you want you can take it for 100 less or leave. What bothered us was the manner he said that - I don’t have time for you, if you want to take it then I will put you to Ryan to get your deposit. Having gone through this for so long, I thought I will proceed further as I don’t expect to deal with them every day and I don’t have the time to shop around. Now I was asked to put a deposit on a car for which I didn’t even see/get a copy of the Carfax report and there was no way to email me the Carfax report before 6PM so I was literally asked to put a deposit on the car without looking at the report. So I had to drive all the back for 30 minutes to put the deposit and collect the Carfax report. Now as soon as I come home, my wife wasn’t happy for what we had experienced and why I was still going with them. Having tried to persuade her all weekend, I thought I succeeded in making her look beyond this purchase. However, on Monday morning my wife still wasn’t happy and kept asking me why I am doing something so out of my way. At this point it occurred to me that she is usually an easy going person and if it continued to bother her, then I realized its more serious than I tried to project. Now having decided to not to spoil our car buying happiness anymore, I had called Ryan to understand what my options to back out at that point. I had specifically told him about my wife, and to a certain extent I, being unhappy about the insulting conversations so far and it was ruining any happiness we would have while buying a car so we decided not to proceed further. Ryan tells me he will call back. I got a call from Michael again and now he starts off saying they did a favor by going through this transaction. The conversation continued and what made me sit up and notice is when he said “I back my employee” as what you mentioned on Saturday was, in his exact words, “a piece of garbage”. Till then, I had a slightest hope that there would be some reconciliation effort from the other side that it was a one-off Saturday stressful evening incident and that we respect the customers in general, so we would go with the deal. But when he kept on insisting us about how bad customers we were, I just couldn’t take it anymore realizing he doesn’t value our business anymore. Michael started justifying the behavior with some examples that don’t make sense and basically, he was just defending Daniel Lasko to an extend that he chose not to accept the realities. Not sure someone offering outside of the range they had in mind cab considered offending. In my profession of 20 years, we do projects all the time where customers always ask for improbable deliverables but then we consider it part of our job to persuade them on the effort/value involved. If this is not enough, Michael started questioning me saying – “All this is not true, stop blaming your wife and I know you are backing out because you found a cheaper deal somewhere else” and started asking me what price I was getting it there. Truth is, as I told him, I don’t even have time to look at another car for another week or 2 - Obviously he doesn’t want to believe that as it will mean he has to take responsibility for the fiasco and kept pushing me to revalidate his belief that we are moving away because of a better deal. I come from a profession where we operate with high integrity so someone questioning what I mentioned is not a usual thing for me. Lack of time to shop was also one of the reasons why I was willing to tolerate this to be done with the purchase but then couldn’t take it anymore as it will remind me whenever I see the car that I had compromised on my self-respect while getting it. Michael told us not to come back to their dealership and said he will return the deposit but having seen how it went so far, I know I may be taking a chance but the experience was so painful that we couldn’t take it anymore no matter what. For me, the price I pay for a car is not only for the vehicle but also the trust I can have with the dealership, which is missing here, and I am sure there are other nice Acura dealers we can find. We will try to look for an MDX once I get some breathing time from my schedules. After getting so close to the deal by having pre-approvals for loan from my bank, I feel disappointed on how it ended. I don’t expect to go back to this dealer and I don’t plan to recommend them for any of my numerous referrals. Having noticed there are only a handful of reviews on this site for Michael, out of the 124 reviews for the dealership, it appears there are lots of other nice salespersons at this dealership and it makes me feel sad for the dealership as to how the couple of folks I had interacted with, except for Ryan, could put a serious dent to the reputation of the dealership by turning away good and potentially loyal customers like us who could bring continuous business to them. My reason for coming to this dealership was because they had a used 2008 Honda Civic Si for sale. Chris Chiusolo took care of me afterwards, and I got a great vibe from him, and everyone else that works at the dealership. I felt very comfortable, relaxed, and also felt that I wasn't being rushed into anything. I would definitely suggest this dealership to anyone looking for a car. Mr. Hanson really helped me get the best finance option, which helped me significantly. Thank you all at Bridgewater Acura.. More
Overall great experience. Chris and Makeda were very helpful and friendly. Being from out of state, a lot of assistance was needed to make the deal happen, and they gladly offered it. In my past I have had some bad experiences with acura dealers. But I love there cars so I figured I would try again. This time was different. I had priced out my mdx with a few local dealers. Althoug dealers. But I love there cars so I figured I would try again. This time was different. I had priced out my mdx with a few local dealers. Although numbers were all close the most respectful salesmen and women were at bridgewater. On my first visit I was not ready to do a deal. I was pressed not to leave Sasha was respectful enough to let me go happy and would work on the numbers if I promised to come back the next evening. He was only doing his job so I understood. I went back and we made a deal. Sasha and his managers met me where my numbers needed to be. Sasha was a man of his word and at no time did I feel like I was being pushed or fooled with. I have bought and leased many cars and its sad to say but most car salesmen are very hard to talk to. Sasha actually listened to what I wanted from the lease deal. If your in the market for an acura go to to bridgewater acura and ask for Sasha, you won't be let down. More

They walked me through the paperwork completely and asked if there were any questions along the way. They understand people have choices when making a car decision, and strive to provide a professinal environment and great customer service. Before driving away they reviwed all the features and questions I had about the vehicle, and offered to explain again in the future if I just stop in again. I would definely refer this dealership and recommend them to friends and/or family. More
