As we were looking at cars in the parking lot a salesman approached and asked if we needed help. Our salesman was Roberto Barrios. He is very polite and easy going. He gave the right amount of help without hovering or being pushy. We felt very comfortable with him. We didn't buy that day because it is a big decision and my mom wanted to think about which model would be best for her. Having Roberto as our salesman was a big reason we returned to Bill Utter. Six months later still can't drive my car My car had a recall when I bought it in June. It is now almost December and I still can't drive my car due to the recall. Worst Experience Ever This past Friday, 11/16/2018, I had scheduled an appointment at 1:30 because my check engine light was on. When I check in, I informed the tech that I This past Friday, 11/16/2018, I had scheduled an appointment at 1:30 because my check engine light was on. When I check in, I informed the tech that I would be waiting on my vehicle. The tech that was assigned the appointment, Robert, was not there so another tech checked me in. At 5:00, after noticing that my truck was sitting in the garage and not being worked on, I finally went up to the desk for an update. I went up to the tech who I dropped the vehicle off with first. He looked at me standing there, then proceeded to make a phone call. After making the phone call, and noticing that I was still standing there he finally asked me if I needed some help. He directed me to my assigned Tech who stated that "I've tried calling you a couple of times". I explained to him that I didn't have my phone with me that day and had been sitting in the waiting area the whole time. Needless to say, they weren't going to be able to complete the repair that day and it would be the following Monday. On Monday, I called Robert at 10:30 because I wanted him to look at another issue I'd been having. I left a message for him and was told he would call be back. At 2:00, I hadn't received a call back so I called again and was told he had left for the day. The person who answered the call, Don, stated that he would check on the progress. He proceeded to tell me that the mechanic hadn't even started on it yet and when I asked when he would have an ETA for me he responded that he'd call me back in about 30 minutes. At 4:30, after not getting a call back, I called again to be told that my vehicle was finally ready. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I noticed a $149 diagnostic charge on my bill. When I asked about the charge because I was told when I checked in that if they completed the repair, I wouldn't be charged for the diagnostic, I was told that I wasn't charged for the diagnostic, it's just how the bill reads. After several back and forth, they finally removed the charge. This is the second time they've tried to charge me or things I was told there wouldn't be a charge for. I purchased tires through the dealership last year and was told that I got free lifetime balances and rotations, but when I was in last month to have this done, they tried to charge me for it. This service department has also recommended services that I've already completed through them. Last year I had them flush my transmission in January and when I brought the truck in in June for some basic servicing, they recommended I flush my transmission . I will never return to this dealership again and they've actually turned me off of every purchasing a Ford again. More
