Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. Scott, I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced with your warranty claim. It seems that you had several phone conversations with a member of our team who explained that we would look into this matter to see if we can help get the issue resolved. They then emailed Monica Duran with the contract info. Once they looked into it, it was discovered that you had gone 14,000 miles past the oil change interval, which voided out your warranty. It was then explained that we can cancel your warranty, however, the funds would go back to the lender that holds your lien and it would be a prorated amount, not the amount that was initially paid. They then recommended that you email Mike Lewis a request canceling the warranty since Mike was the original F&I guy that you worked with. As previously noted, once Mike receives that email, he will put together a cancellation form and email it back to you to sign. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused.
