They were terrible. We had already been there and we called our salesperson and made an offer. We explainined that we lived 30-40 minutes away and to not ask us to come in unless they would accept our of called our salesperson and made an offer. We explainined that we lived 30-40 minutes away and to not ask us to come in unless they would accept our offer. He called us back and said the offer was acceptable and to come in.We cancelled our plkans, drove there and were taken in to an office by the manager John who told us that the monthly payments would be $55 a month HIGHER than the pffer that we had made and they had agreed to.I told the other customers in the showroom not to buy there as we were leaving the general manager followed us outside and created a confrontation calling me an old man that couldn't afford the car.I was never the one buying the car it was my son who I was there with and my finances were NEVER involved in the deal. They are tricky and unprofessional and instead of just letting us leave they created a confrontation. The general manager wlked up to me,got in my face insulted me then insulted my son's girlfriend telling her that women always want to carry breifcases until the going gets tough. WOW! what a horrible place! More
I purchased a used car from out of state. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing a car from Bill Ray's internet department. The negotiation was easy and they held the car for me for two days since I had to dri recommend purchasing a car from Bill Ray's internet department. The negotiation was easy and they held the car for me for two days since I had to drive 5 hours to get to the dealership. There wasn't any pressure when I arrived, as the negotiation had already been completed. However, watch for a few things once you agree to purchase the car. I did not get the full tank of gas promised by the sales rep (in fact, it was on 'E' as I drove off the lot), nor did they vacuum the car when they said they’d clean it up. Also, when meeting with the finance department, they sold me a service warranty for $1100. After all the papers were signed, they realized that the service warranty was really $1600, but since it was their mistake, they would take $500 off the price of the car. My fault for assuming they actually did this, because they didn't. I called to ask about it three times and my phone calls were not returned (but it's okay---I've already cancelled the warranty). They also sold me gap coverage, which I originally said “No” to. But when I said “Yes” to the service warranty, they slipped the gap coverage into the paperwork. Again, this was also cancelled. I had to call four times to make sure they received my cancellation (because again, no one called back), which they claimed they didn't, but the woman who helped me at that point was quick and helpful. The base price of the car was excellent. But beware of the $699 dealer fee, which they claimed covered things like legal paper work and registration. Since I live out of state, I had to do all of my own paper work and registration, so it was basically an addition to the price of the car. This fee is only about $300 in my home state, where dealers DO complete the registration and titling for you. On a positive note, though, the Title Clerk at Bill Ray was very helpful in making sure I received the Title in a timely manner. In the end, I am happy with my purchase and with the internet negotiation. Just be sure to read everything you sign and make sure you understand the fine print. More
I went through the entire process of buying a used car at Bill Ray Nissan...(driving, negotiating, etc...) and spent 5 hours at the dealership. I was told that the car was in perfect condition and had never Bill Ray Nissan...(driving, negotiating, etc...) and spent 5 hours at the dealership. I was told that the car was in perfect condition and had never been in any accidents. I traded in my car, paid for my beautiful new-to-me car and was about to leave the dealership a happy camper. My husband ran inside to pick up the new insurance card and I browsed the car manual. I was SHOCKED to find tucked into the manual paperwork for when my supposedly accident free vehicle had been in a major accident and had sustained over $10,000 in damages. The entire car had been repainted and redone!!!! Yikes! Thankfully, I did not drive it off the lot!! I was there for 5 hours and no one bothered to tell me about the damage, even though they knew. I was lucky to get away easily, but I know that the next person will not be so lucky. I'm sure that bill/estimate has been shredded and the car is back on the lot for the next victim. This is the reason that car dealers have such a bad name. More

(in fact they called us back begging us to come back and buy for the price bill ray nissan gave us! too late!) overall the experience was excellenet..why? see above..enough said! More
