She kept me updated on the progress off my car and gave me a fair price for the repairs to be done. In all yes I would recommend this dealer for service. More
On Thursday, August 2, I drove my 16 year old daughter 50 miles to see a Jeep Liberty Maloy Ford Lincoln had advertised on Auto Trader. The add had no pictures and was listed for $11,964. I showed Justin t miles to see a Jeep Liberty Maloy Ford Lincoln had advertised on Auto Trader. The add had no pictures and was listed for $11,964. I showed Justin the Auto Trader add on my phone and ask if they had the vehicle. He found the truck and brought it around. We drove it and found it to be nice. Justin left us for a few minutes to get the CarFax and check our trade-in value. He returned and said, "Now what price did you say you saw that on Auto Trader for?" I went back to the phone and the price had been changed on Auto Trader to $13,864. He looked at us like we were trying to pull one over on HIM. I left livid and drove back to my office where I still had the browser opened to that Auto Trader search. It had the original price and I took a screen shot. I called back on Saturday to have them honor the price. They said, "Sorry, we are running someone's credit on that Jeep right now." Coincidence? Doubtful! Be VERY careful if you find that you MUST do business with Maloy. More
Confirmed in email that an F150 was available. The next morning Tammy called to assure me that the truck was there and I confirmed that I would be there around 11:00 to see it. There were also a couple of morning Tammy called to assure me that the truck was there and I confirmed that I would be there around 11:00 to see it. There were also a couple of others on the website that I was interested in if this one didn't pan out. It wasn't there. "It must be out on a demo drive", they said. Then they decided that it had been sold yesterday. How about the others? Blank stares was all I got. They said that if I could give them a few minutes they could find what I was looking for, so I gave them another shot. They found one, in Kennesaw, GA. Now they wanted my credit information and they'd work up a price. No, you work up a price, then I'll give you my credit information. The printout for this truck they had found was from AutoTrader, with the top portion torn off. We could still see the dealer's name that had the truck though. While they went back behind closed doors to work up a price, my son looked it up on his iPhone. They came back and quoted me $2400 more than the price that it was listed for by the other dealer not to mention $3,200+ more than the truck I came up there to see. Also, while we were there, my son looked on Maloy's web and counted 29 used F-150's. They actually had 8 on the lot. A classic example of bait-and-switch. A 110 mile trip and a whole Saturday morning wasted. More
I called the dealership twice in one day to confirm that a specific car (Hyundai Elantra) was available. A salesman, Russell Smith, told me the car was indeed available and he was looking at it. I drove fro a specific car (Hyundai Elantra) was available. A salesman, Russell Smith, told me the car was indeed available and he was looking at it. I drove from Birmingham to Jasper in my mother's car to Maloy, where I found that the car I had called about was not on the lot. I was told the following things by various the staff while I was there: The car was sold yesterday, the car was sold last week, Russell is at lunch, Russell is out of town, why don't you take a look at this new Ford Focus? An hour of driving, plus gas, down the drain. Not mention the place was poorly kept and unorganized. I would not trust financing with an operation like this one. More
This woman is very rude she was rude to my 78 year old father who was there to have service done and while waiting I observed her being rude to another customer as well as one of the young men who was wor father who was there to have service done and while waiting I observed her being rude to another customer as well as one of the young men who was working there. With people like her meeting the public this company is bound to have more problems. We do not have to use this Dealership for service as we are located closer to Birmingham than Jasper, AL. We will not use this dealer for service again as long as Renee is handling the service dept. The price for the work being done seems rather high to me although when my Father asked to talk to a service person about the problem she told him that she could not pull someone off their job just to talk with him or he could make an appt and then bring the car back. The steering was making a noise and he was afraid to drive it 30 miles back home. The work has not been completed as of yet so the quality of work can not be assessed although it will carry a warranty. More
