Before I traded in my 2005 Civic, I went online to find out about how much I could get for it. I went to Carmax, and their appraisal was a joke. Then I trekked over to Honda at Tyson's Corner where the a out about how much I could get for it. I went to Carmax, and their appraisal was a joke. Then I trekked over to Honda at Tyson's Corner where the appraisal was better, but they wouldn't work with me on moving the price. Bill Page Honda (NOT Bill Page Used Cars which was a completely different experience) gave me a good appraisal up front, and I felt good about what I could get for my used car. I told my salesperson Anthony, a very affable and great guy, exactly what I was looking for: 4 doors, ABS, side airbags, automatic transmission. I didn't care about anything else. We found a great car with a sticker price of $18,000. Since my car appraised for $13,000 I told him if he could get the price down to $14,000 I'd buy him a steak dinner. I'm 8 months pregnant and my husband and I wanted to pay between 14-15K. The price they came back with was UNDER $14,000. I signed a contract saying I would buy the car... then we realized that the car didn't have side air bags. Anthony felt horrible, Bill Page Jr. apologized. No one mentioned that I had signed a contract to buy the car. The next day, I got a call from Bill Page, Jr. I was still in the market, and he was the only manager on duty that day. He went through the entire lot looking for the car I wanted, and after an hour he found a few. The MSRP for the cars was over $18,000. He offered me either a 2005 or 2006 that I wanted for under $16,000. I went to Bill Page used cars to see what my old Civic would appraise for, was treated like crap, then went back to Bill Page Honda. I test drove both cars and felt very good about the deal they gave me. They gave me an out the door price I could afford, no gimmicks, no run-around. Everyone was friendly and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this dealer. More
How surprised I was in explaining to Bill Page, Jr. that I was not happy with his staff at his new car repair center, in the course of the conversation he said that he did not appreciate my tone and and wou I was not happy with his staff at his new car repair center, in the course of the conversation he said that he did not appreciate my tone and and would prefer that I take my car somewhere else to be repaired. The astonishment on my part is that I was telling him in a factual but not in any way rude that his staff was not helpful. He told me that he had specialists to give me some information when all I was looking for was a ball park depreciation amt of my car that he was going to fix for 7000 plus dollars. This is my first involvement with Honda and find it very disappointing that a car dealer can turn away business because of a lack of negotiable compromising. I guess he is only happy when people tell he how wonderful he is but constructive criticism is worth losing business over. More
Long story but Landmark Honda pulled a bait and switch on us for a Honda Odyssey- got Bill Page Honda to accept the price we were quoted in the color ad model we wanted (very very good deal)- Bill Page jr wa us for a Honda Odyssey- got Bill Page Honda to accept the price we were quoted in the color ad model we wanted (very very good deal)- Bill Page jr was very good- they passed the sale to a Dan who was horrible. Fortunately we don't have to deal with him much. paperwork went smoothly, accidentally charged $15 over the OTD price we negotiated and were given a free oil change, wheel locks and mud flaps. Would recommend very much- the place didn't stink like grease from the sales people like Landmark and tysons had! More
Tried to make a service appointment on their website - no response, so I called to make an appointment for 1st thing in the morning. Delivered my vehicle 15 minutes early and it still took them nearly two h response, so I called to make an appointment for 1st thing in the morning. Delivered my vehicle 15 minutes early and it still took them nearly two hours. Most insulting was that they charged me $72 to change the oil and rotate the tires. What a rip-off. At least, they had decent coffee in their waiting area... More
Overall, their prices are higher than the many other area dealers. Beware of their inflated fees- additional dealer markup of $1999 on almost every car they have in stock, regardless of whether it is a h dealers. Beware of their inflated fees- additional dealer markup of $1999 on almost every car they have in stock, regardless of whether it is a hot-seller or not. This is a way for them to make you think you are getting a good price, so be sure to pay attention. If MSRP + 1999 - 1000, they will point out to you how you are getting $1000 off, not the fact that you just put $999 in their pocket. Also, look out for $399 wheel locks (Honda MSRP is $60), other add-ons. Since they are a smaller dealer than others, they try to make much more profit per car. That's why you see the other posts about rude managers, and their take it or leave it attitude. More
The manager ordered me out of the showroom in a loud voice in front of his staff because I declined to give my name to the sales representative; he said I was rude. I did tell the sales representative voice in front of his staff because I declined to give my name to the sales representative; he said I was rude. I did tell the sales representative that I was only "looking" though; I did not ignore him. In any case, the manager was very disrespectful and totally out of line. I will never buy from Bill Page Honda or recommend them to anyone. It's a shame because at one time Bill Page was a very respected name in the area. More
I went to BIll Page Honda to buy 06 Accord LX SE. At that time, I was holding on an AD from Manassas Honda saying they are selling 06 accord lx se for certain price out the door. I asked the salesperso that time, I was holding on an AD from Manassas Honda saying they are selling 06 accord lx se for certain price out the door. I asked the salesperson from bill page honda what they can offer. I also told the sales person that the Manassas Honda was offering certain price that were on the AD and I called them to confirmed that. He took that AD to the managers and the salesperson showed the manager about the AD. One of manager didn't even looked at the AD and he threw that AD to my hand and asked me "get out of here through that exit door or I'll force you to get out of here by someone". what an ugly attitude and serivce.. If they can't beat the price, simply tell the customer they can't sell that car under that price. He was being racist and being nasty. More
I recently brought in my '96 Civic for service work related to Honda's Emissions Warranty Extension. This warranty was a result of a settlement between Honda and the EPA that extends the emissions war related to Honda's Emissions Warranty Extension. This warranty was a result of a settlement between Honda and the EPA that extends the emissions warranty to 14 years or 150,000 miles for this year honda. Part of the settlement includes a requirement the dealer must perform a free tune-up (all labor, parts, etc. included) between 75k and 150k miles. I brought my Civic in for this, and the next thing I know Steve, a service consultant is calling me telling me it's an extra $89 to remove the distributor cap as part of the service. I immediately called Honda and they told me this is not true, the dealer shouldn't be charging anything. Honda Customer Service gets an A+, Bill Page Honda gets an F. Bill Page Honda tried to charge me for something that was free and Honda Customer Service corrected the matter. Don't take your car to Bill Page Honda, either they don't know Honda warranties or they are purposely trying to swindle extra money out of the consumer. My service was terrible, they didn't even call me to tell me my car was ready nor did they even reset the maintenance light. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
This is the very very last place i would recommend all of you to buy the car here. When there to get Honda a week before Xmas, talked to the salesperson Eric and Brent. After long long price negotiation you to buy the car here. When there to get Honda a week before Xmas, talked to the salesperson Eric and Brent. After long long price negotiation, I finally got the price I want, so I put down my down payment. I was not in a hurry to get a car, so I said I would love to get it before Xmas and no later than Xmas. They should have plenty of time to find my car. At the end, I didn't get my car till 3 weeks later from the day I put down my down payment. I had to call and stop in many times to put pressure on them. The manager always gave me the same excuse, this car was popular..blah blah...I asked him why it's so difficult, and I found out they only checking other dealers around DC area. They wouldn't even go into Baltimore and Philadelphia area to find the car for you because it's too expensive for them to bring it here. And they just gave me stupid excuse to keep me waiting. When they did bring me the car, it was in wrong car. It was at night time. After I finished the paper work, I was fortunate enough to discover it was wrong color. Almost got trick by them. Second time they brought the car from Baltimore, which is 40 some miles away. I discovered later it got 188 miles on it. And a fews minor scratches in which made me think it was a demo car. The fail to tell me that I will be 188 miles by the time it got to their lots. When I brought up the topic of 188miles, the Manager yelled us to get out. Talking about excellent services that they claimed. Let's back to the price negotiation. If you didn't do your research, they would trick you DEFINITELY. They will add Destination charge TWICES, just word it differently as FREIGHTS. Adding unnecessary parts at expensive prices. Add $2000 charge on you to find a new car in fact they can just do a swap with other dealers that costed them nothing. Just BEWARE!! Regarding financing, they will tell you they have the best rate and can match with other banks. I got 5.75% from Chevy Chase, and their rate is 6.78%. Most likely they would earn extra bucks from giving you those rates. They are very tricky and sneaky. Their salespersons are not customer-oriented. They might seem nices. If you don't buy the car today, they will keep forcing you. And they don't give you best price becasue they sell you the car with higher price, their commissions are higher. Buyer just BEWARE. I have more to write, but that is enough to give you an idea how bad they are. Their rating is bad for a REASON. I would recommend you to do research on a dealer before you step in. It will save you time and money. More
This was the worst car buying experience that I have ever had. The salesman took 4 hours to complete the purchase of a new Civic. He was condescending and rude, and even left to go have lunch while we wait had. The salesman took 4 hours to complete the purchase of a new Civic. He was condescending and rude, and even left to go have lunch while we waited. Following the sale, the credit department lost our credit application. A document with some extremely sensitive financial information is just missing. The dealer's response? Don't worry about it, they said. More
