Poor Sales Experience Me and my wife were currently in the market for a new 2015 Jeep Cherokee and decided to visit Bill Luke because we saw a aggressively priced 2015 Jeep Me and my wife were currently in the market for a new 2015 Jeep Cherokee and decided to visit Bill Luke because we saw a aggressively priced 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we were greeted by a sales person named Mack, he was able to let us test drive the vehicle, explained the benefits of it, then took us back to his office to finalize the sale. We sat down, I explained to him what I would like for payment options ( as we are very farmiliar with financing/ purchasing car). He stepped out of the room then to talk with his sales manager and came back and said the car had been sold, then he suggested I look at used 2014 models and when I told him I would consider the idea of a used car. He showed us a used car with over 35000 miles that was actually priced higher then the original new car I wanted (that was sold while we were there). Understand this information wasn't being presented to us ( the only showed that the monthly payment was the same as the new car monthly payment) it was only shown to after I repeatedly had to ask and view statements of the total cost of the car and project interest rate. After explaining that option didn't fit my needs I asked if they could simply price match the original vehicle we came to see with 2015 model that had the same or even less options. they had 3 to choose from, all $700-$1000 more. Mack went back and forth to his sales manager and finally came back with the answer of " we only give so many great deals like that out and once there gone, they are gone." Its important to note the cars that I was flexible to purchase were 3 seperate cars that had the same or less options by Mack (the sales persons own understanding) once I explained I wasnt willing to pay more for a the same car that we originally wanted to purchase we were excused and told "He needed to sell something today". Now I wouldn't normally take the time to write a review but after this experience me and my wife went to another dodge dealership in the area ( located off McDowell in Scottsdale) and after telling them our past experience per batim, they were able sell us a 2015 at the original price we came into Bill Luke for ( which was sold while we're there) but with more options, and a much more aggressive and significally Better financing than discussed at Bill Luke. All with in 1 hour. Needless to say I now currently have the car I wanted, at the price I wanted (that Bill Luke advertised) all thanks to another dodge dealership who took the simple task and time to listen to our needs and wants and present us only with options that work best for us. With that said I wanted to write a review to let others know my experiece at Bill Luke in Phoenix, in an area that has so many options to the customer. More

I felt lucky that they had just gotten a trade in which hadn't even passed inspection yet before I snagged it. Lionel was my sales man and did a great job. Also, Tyler helped me with financing and got me a smoking deal considering my credit was only a 612!! They were professional and didn't give me a super great deal on trade but that's the name of the game with dealerships it seems. My car was only worth a few hundred more than they offered so it wasn't a big deal. Anyway, overall a great painless experience and I recommend them to anyone. It only took about two hours and i was good to go ;) More
Being respectful and prepared makes all the difference! My wife and I went in to the dealer with hesitation, especially my wife due to a prior out of state dealer experience that was an absolute nightmare! My wife and I went in to the dealer with hesitation, especially my wife due to a prior out of state dealer experience that was an absolute nightmare! We walked out to say the least. I was nervous that this could be a repeat experience. Now, I have purchased several cars in the past and have seen it all, the bait and switch, the no price on vehicle or window tag, the sales manager hidden add ons, etc. So I did a lot of research and figured out what the actual market value of the vehicles we wanted to look at was. I wanted to be fully prepared for negotiations as I knew there would be some back and forth, typical dealer stuff. The dealer is trying to make the max profit, you are trying to get the best price. Then you eventually meet in the middle for a fair price. After all, you have to keep in mind that the salesperson is under pressure to make a percentage of sales each month. Also the main source of there income is commission based. They do get an hourly rate, but it is not great, just enough to scrape by. I know because I almost got a job in car sales but had a better opportunity come up. Now I am not saying this to make an attack, or try and say that car sales is not an honest job because it is. It is stressful and hard work to negotiate and pray for a sale. The point of me saying this is to try and put people in the shoes of their sales person so they don't go in there on a high horse. That will definitely NOT get you a good deal and they will not want to work hard to get you financed, if that is the route you are taking. So, back to our experience.... We arrived at Bill Luke's and before we could even wander the lot, Marlon Coleman shouted out, "Welcome to Bill Luke's! Is there something I can help you find?" Naturally I was like, "Oh God, here we go, the bait and switch tactic", but I was actually pleasantly surprised when he came up and introduced himself with a smile and ask about what we were there for. I then showed him my print out of two cars we were interested in. Now, I knew there was a chance they may or may not still be there due to how busy it was so my wife and I crossed our fingers. It took him about 20 minutes to retrieve the cars, after all the dealership is HUGE! Car impressions.... We first looked at the 2012 Ford Focus SEL hatchback and I was shocked at its condition. It had pits and terrible scratches all over it. The interior was full of cat hair, a cigarette burn hole on the driver seat, and smelled like smoke. Keep in mind this car had just recently arrived on the lot. They were asking a little under $12,300 for the car. I knew better than to accept that price because that is what it is worth KBB with no paint flaws and clean interior with normal wear. I said I would not buy it for more than $11,000 after everything, meaning tax, registration, etc. Well after some back and forth we did not come to a deal on it. That is because we were unaware we were in a bidding war with another buyer. lol Found out later from Marlon someone else bought that car the same day! Okay so not all was lost because as you recall we had a second car we looked at, and boy am I actually glad we did not come to a deal on the 2012 Ford Focus SEL. I know right now I would be kicking myself if we did. lol So we went after the 2014 Ford Fiesta SE, which my wife fell in love with instantly but did not tell me at the time. The car had literally just arrived on lot, I know because I had been tracking it for days. They were asking $10,573 and that is a great deal! The KBB on the car is $11,403 so I did not bother negotiating a lower price. The car was extremely clean and had not even gone to detail or inspection yet! I knew this was something to fight for so we jumped on it for the $10,573 asking price! Now, I want you all to note that I was hit very hard when the recession hit in 2009. My credit went to crap, I lost everything and I have been rebuilding ever since. Then there is my wife who has a minimal credit history (which is not the best but is improving with my help). We also have a modest but healthy income. A lot of dealers will upturn their noses and laugh us out the door, but not Bill Luke! They did not judge us, they treated us with respect, and fought hard for us to get a car! We did come prepared however, and put a down payment of $1800, this is a MUST if you do not have good credit by the way. After all is said and done, they got us very close to our optimal monthly payment and made sure we were set in stone on the car loan. Being prepared makes all the difference! Thank you Bill Luke and Marlon Coleman for getting us a much needed car! We are forever grateful! More
Out of state purchase I'd been looking for the right Ford Fusion for over a month and found one for a fantastic price at Bill Luke on autotrader. After a few phone calls I I'd been looking for the right Ford Fusion for over a month and found one for a fantastic price at Bill Luke on autotrader. After a few phone calls I worked the deal out and flew down to check it out, they even paid for my ticket! Jerry picked me up from the airport and showed me the car, he was a really cool guy that never pressured me and only asked what he could do to make me more comfortable with the purchase. David in finance was great also and answered all my questions and made sure to explain everything. Once all the papers were signed they made sure and explained all the features on the car before I made the 10 hr trip home. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and would recommend Bill Luke to anyone looking for a car especially out of state car buyers. More
Good buying experience and great service experience I purchased my 2014 Dodge Challenger from Bill Luke 9 months ago and the experience was very good. Not "awesome" but good. No pressure from sales, s I purchased my 2014 Dodge Challenger from Bill Luke 9 months ago and the experience was very good. Not "awesome" but good. No pressure from sales, salesperson was extremely accommodating when I wanted to tour the lot and look at other vehicles before my purchase. The price I got was pretty darn good to (and I did a LOT of research on price on this car). While signing the paperwork with a manager I got the usual pressure to purchase aftermarket stuff like extended warranty and security devices but he wasn't obnoxious and was just doing his job. I actually did end up getting an extended warranty. Overall, a far better experience than I anticipated as there was no baiting and switching, no misrepresentations and no high pressure...all things you've come to expect from buying a new car. Again, was it an awesome experience? No. But it was pretty good. I'd say a B+. Service gets an A. I had a couple of minor issues (tire related) and the service manager, Earl, invited me to come in without an appointment. I showed up, found him and he took his time with me examining the issue, calling his accessories manager over (who was also very nice) and answering all my questions. Even though they were busy he never rushed me or tried to get rid of me once he felt he'd answered my questions. Definitely a better experience than I've had at some other dealerships. All in all, my interactions with Bill Luke Chrysler/Dodge have been pleasant and more than satisfactory. More

Worst Dealership Ever Worst experience ever!!!!!. Beware! do not do business with Bill Luke Doge. I brought my car to them to get serviced and while in their possession the Worst experience ever!!!!!. Beware! do not do business with Bill Luke Doge. I brought my car to them to get serviced and while in their possession they wrecked my car on the test drive. The accident was not their fault however they did not help at all to get my car fixed. In fact they made me pay for the loaner car that I get when servicing my vehicle, pay for the alignment and other work performed even though my car no longer runs and they made me pay for the tow of the vehicle from the accident site to the dealership when they are the ones who ordered it to be towed. The GM Kim Carter and owner Don Luke do nothing but lie to you. They both told me that they lose $1000 on every vehicle the sell and they do not make money selling vehicles. Don Luke actually hung up on me during a conversation. Stay away from this dealership. Worst Customer Service I have Ever Experienced. More
Joe Betancourt (might be spelled wrong). I put starting offer in for a white 2014 Chrysler Town & Country this afternoon and spoke with the person in the title box. I did my math ($20673+8.05 I put starting offer in for a white 2014 Chrysler Town & Country this afternoon and spoke with the person in the title box. I did my math ($20673+8.05% tax)+2% license & registration fee) which totals to about $22730 (not including the $199 vehicle theft registration and $399 dealer docs and admin fees (which I assume was standard fees from previous vehicle bought somewhere else in Phoenix) and made a what I think was a reasonable offer with a wiggle room of $600 ($199 + $399) at $22,500. Joe calls me back and tells me we're $600 apart, and continued to explain bottom price, etc, etc and they want to sell the vehicle and they did not want to go under on a vehicle. So, just as I mentioned to him that I read the carfax on the vehicle and told him the vehicle was bought at an auction (thinking maybe we could split the difference between $600) he quickly said "This conversation is over! That is the price and that's what we're going to sell it for!" (with a take it or leave it attitude) and hangs up the phone. Now I understand that they are competitively priced than the other ones posted on autotrader and the dealership has to make money to pay for the giant overhead. But geez! This guy's attitude over the phone was insane! All that over a "this car was bought at an auction" comment which was available free to the public on autotrader's carfax link. I am calling again tomorrow, yes they have good prices, you just gotta get over the bad apples. More
