This was a last minute service appointment before a trip and they made room for me to get serviced the same day. Everyone was very friendly and delivered as promised and on time. My car was washed when I pi and they made room for me to get serviced the same day. Everyone was very friendly and delivered as promised and on time. My car was washed when I picked it up... Everything went very smooth and I feel very comfortable with everyone in the service department. I feel I can trust everyone when I bring my car in for service. More
The service was done within the given time frame. The work appears to have been done correctly and the employees where polite and able to explain what was needed. work appears to have been done correctly and the employees where polite and able to explain what was needed. More
My S80 has been in for service for over three weeks and still they can not determine the problem. This is the second time this type of thing has happened with this dealership. The last time it was in for s still they can not determine the problem. This is the second time this type of thing has happened with this dealership. The last time it was in for service, it was there almost 7 weeks! I have no confidence in this dealer and wish there was another option. I will never buy another Volvo because of them. More
Have taken the car in for service twice and both times mentioned a noise in the brakes that occur when backing out of my driveway first thing in the morning. Once the car was running or if pulling out the mentioned a noise in the brakes that occur when backing out of my driveway first thing in the morning. Once the car was running or if pulling out the noise did not occur. The past 2 times I went in for maintenance service I advised the service department of the noise and both times they said they could not duplicate and thus couldn’t fix. Part of the reason they couldn’t duplicate was due to, as mentioned prior, the issue only happened when the brakes were cold and if I dropped the car off for service the same day how would the brakes be cold. While the routine maintenance went fine the brake noise continued to occur after both service call so, when sent a survey by Volvo North America, I filled it out honestly giving the service an average rating. I wasn't going to make anything of it until I received an irate phone call from the service manager at Bill Kidd. He yelled at me and told me even though he saw the issue on the invoice he couldn’t understand why I would bring it up on the survey. The experience has left me wishing I had never purchased from Bill Kidd. While I have a 5yr 60k maint agreement for the vehicle I will go painstakingly out of my way to find another Volvo dealership who can provide service for me going forward. More

This is the second CPO car we have purchased from Bill Kidd's -- a Toyota my husband got a few years ago and a Volvo XC90 I drove home yesterday. We had great experiences both times. In fact, when we went Kidd's -- a Toyota my husband got a few years ago and a Volvo XC90 I drove home yesterday. We had great experiences both times. In fact, when we went to look at the XC90 we asked for the same salesperson, Hans Blom. Even though it was near closing time and he was with another client, he made sure we were taken care of -- and he even remembered the car my husband had bought, right down to the color! Throughout the process of buying the XC90, Hans went the extra mile to make sure I was happy -- there was never a whiff of pressure. My phone calls and e-mails were answered quickly, and he was willing to work on my schedule even when that meant rearranging his. And some minor touch-ups I wanted on the paint(it's a 2007, after all) were done, and done beautifully, before I picked it up. Now, anyone with a computer can quickly tell that Bill Kidd's prices are not always the lowest in town; what the website can't convey is the quality of the merchandise they're offering. Given the condition of the cars, I would say the deal on the Volvo was fair to both sides and the deal on the Toyota was excellent. A word about financing: When we bought the Toyota a few years back, the financing was so-so at first, but they did agree to match a better rate our own lender had offered. This time, Bill Kidd's financing was MUCH BETTER than what our bank offered me. I don't think we'll need another car for a long time, but when we do, I would certainly go back to Bill Kidd's. More
My contact with Bill Kidd's Volvo was entirely by e-mail. I was looking for a V70 in a particular color, configured with certain options, and was casting a wide net in my search from my home in Virginia. W I was looking for a V70 in a particular color, configured with certain options, and was casting a wide net in my search from my home in Virginia. Wayne Cernik responded by e-mail to my e-mail request. He was very professional in tone and straight-forward. Unfortunately the dealership did not have the exact car I wanted; he suggested that I could order one and explained how that would work, quoted a price which would have been acceptable to me, and was upfront with explaining other fees and so forth. In the end I bought from a dealer who was closer (Bill Kidd's was more than 100 miles away) and had a car equipped as I wanted (in a different color than I had initially preferred), but if Kidd's had had the car I wanted, I would not have hesitated to do business with them. Mr. Cernik was a pleasure to work with by e-mail, prompt and courteous in all his responses and information. More
I talked to Don Soltys on the phone about a 2009 Venza that I was looking for. I asked for Don because he was recommended to me. It was the day that the recall was announced. I expressed that I wanted a 2 that I was looking for. I asked for Don because he was recommended to me. It was the day that the recall was announced. I expressed that I wanted a 2009 model with leather seats, upgraded JBL stereo, and AWD. He insisted on a 2010 model because there was a nice roof rack that came with the 2010 model and the 2010 was only a few hundred dollars more. I also said that I wanted 5.5% financing or less or I would go through my credit union. I asked about the recall and he said that there was no recall on the venza. I was sold a bottom of the line venza with aftermarket leather seats for an astronomical price that was not disclosed and an interest rate of 6.5%. When I called back to complain about my dissatisfaction I was offered 3 car detail coupons worth $100. This is my first and last experience with Toyota. I will be trading in the car even if I loose money because the whole experience was horrible. I was warned from several people not to buy a car from Bill Kidd's and I should have listened. I will tell everyone that I know for years to come that this is not a dealership to do business with! I will also write a letter to several executives at Toyota. I would think that they wouldn't want their reputation tarneshed anymore. More
