If I could give zero stars, I would! If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m not sure if the people at this service center failed to listen to me because I’m a woman or because they are just incompetent, but I won’t be returning ever again. I took my Volvo XC60 to Bill Kidd's Volvo service center a total of 5 times over the course of a year because of the same sound coming out of the front end. For each visit, I explained the issue, the noise and how to re-create the issue in detail at least 3 times: 1) to the person I scheduled my appointment with, 2) to the service advisor when dropping off my car, and 3) to the service advisor again when they inevitably called stating that the techs could not re-create the noise/issue in my front end. Please note that each time my car was in the shop, they contacted me to tell me my car was ready, that they were unable to re-create the issue and therefore unwilling to take a look at anything in particular in my front end, and I had to plead with them to follow my instructions to re-create the noise. Once, (I think it was the 3rd of 5 visits), they diagnosed the issue as my brakes, however the noise persisted after I left the lot. On the 4th visit, they replaced my left front axle (under my extended warranty- I paid a $150 deductible) but failed to even inspect the right front axle, and the noise continued. It should be noted they said the axle seal failure is a common issue. If this was the case, common sense and due diligence would be to inspect the other side. A professional and competent service department would have done so. On my 5th visit, when the service advisor texted me that my car was ready, to which I asked about the noise, he informed me, again, that they could not recreate the noise. At this point, I told him that I would not pick up the car until they could figure out what the issue was. The next day (which happened to be a Friday), my boyfriend went to the dealership and drove a tech around. He was immediately able to re-create the problem, doing exactly as I has instructed the service advisor on multiple occasions. Why couldn’t they hear the noise in the suspension? Because they didn't think to roll the window down so they could hear the front end. About a week later, the service advisor finally called me to tell me that the issue was my right front axle and that they were waiting on the part. When I asked when they expected the part to come in, I was told “well I hope today, because I really need the loaner car back.” The unprofessional tone of this statement, as if I was a burden on them, was appalling. Later that day, the service advisor called me again to tell me that my car was ready for pickup and that I would have to pay a $150 deductible (for a repair that should have been caught when they replaced the left axle the first time). I immediately called the service manager, left a message and was told that he was in and would call me back before the end of the day. He never bothered to call me back. At a minimum he should have addressed the issue as a courtesy to a frustrated customer. I did finally hear back from the service advisor, however, who advised they had agreed to waive the $150 deductible charge. Every step of this repair was frustrating and disappointing. I can say with certainty that the staff at the Bill Kidd's Volvo service center is either incompetent or unwilling to listen to female customers- and I’m not sure which is worse. I will NEVER go back. More

He started out communicating very well, that is until he stole my money. I've called over and over again to no avail. Left voice mails, emails, sent mail by USPS and still have not heard back from "Dave". I'm now having to dispute the extra charges with my credit card company since no one from Bill Kidds has been able to explain them. Do yourself a favor, steer clear of Bill Kidds! More
Astronomical repair fee for incorrect diagnosis! I purchased an off lease Volvo XC90 with a five point warranty. I was promised excellent service and a premium suv. Within weeks of my purchase, I dis I purchased an off lease Volvo XC90 with a five point warranty. I was promised excellent service and a premium suv. Within weeks of my purchase, I discovered that the car was burning oil. I took it back into the service department where they explained an involved system of determining the oil consumption. After following the rules, they refused to repair the car under warranty. The second offense occured after the heat stopped blowing. I took the car in, they charged me a diagnosis fee and explained that the motor for the blower had burned up after getting wet. I explained that the blower motor had been replaced only 3 months prior. It couldn't have burned up, it was new. They asked for $2675 to repair the blower motor and address the water. I declined. Days later after hitting a bump, the motor went back on and worked perfectly. I asked for a refund of the $115 diagnosis fee, it was incorrect. Clearly there was a loose connection. No refund. THIS IS A TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP. Terrible service. Dishonest work. Deceptive treatment. More
A pleasant good deal on a Volvo This is the second Volvo I have bought at Bill Kidd's Volvo and the second deal was even better than the first. I drove away in a beautiful Volvo wit This is the second Volvo I have bought at Bill Kidd's Volvo and the second deal was even better than the first. I drove away in a beautiful Volvo with all the options I wanted at a very good price. The negotiation with the salesman, Wayne Cernik, was easy and the finance manager was well-prepared to finish the transaction. I buy at Bill Kidd's because their service department is so good! They stood behind the warranty on the first Volvo and fixed all the problems that came up during the warranty period. The service advisor, Ellery Queen, is a really jovial man and helps get the service done well. They lend me a Volvo while mine is in the shop and that makes it easy to get the repair done. When the work is done they wash and vacuum the car. This is a well-run dealership and they are decent people who genuinely want to off the best service they can. It's not just the buying of the Volvo, but the servicing over time which is so important. When I had a question about setting up the remote start on the Volvo, I drove to the dealership and they showed me quickly how to set it up. I think their prices are reasonable, their work excellent and they are personable people as well. More
Fake news, deceptive ads, ghetto dealer Visited for xc40 lease. Their “special ad” is deceptive ad; it states $325/month for 36months $3325 due at signing...You will end up paying additiona Visited for xc40 lease. Their “special ad” is deceptive ad; it states $325/month for 36months $3325 due at signing...You will end up paying additional $3500 at signing. When confronted general manager; he blamed it on “National Volvo ad” and told me I should have read the fine prints and the “$3325” does not cover taxes and fees. For any of you who has ever leased a car, when was the last time the “due at signing” fee did not include taxes and fees!!! Btw, if you go to the Volvo website, National Volvo Ad clearly states “$3325 CASH due at signing” indicating $3325 is additional cash on top of the taxes and feew. But if you look at Bill Kidds ad on its website, they conveniently deleted the word “Cash” to make it sound like the TOTAL “due at signing” is $3325. Dealer interior is very disorganized and cramped; my salesman was actually pretty nice but overall, dealership itself is pretty disorganized w salesmen desks that are cramped together (you can barely hear your salesman if the guy next desk is speakig)... deal just has a ghetto feel. Do NOT buy your car there. In fact don’t bother even visiting cus you will feel like a second class cotizen yhe moment you walk in... More
Buyers beware, false advertisements and very misleading First off I want to say that I am a very experienced car buyer and I am currently in the market for a 2018 Volvo XC90. Here is a little background wit First off I want to say that I am a very experienced car buyer and I am currently in the market for a 2018 Volvo XC90. Here is a little background without boring details. I have a subaru outback I am leasing and currently 3k under with kbb saying my car is worth 27k and payoff is 30k. I contacted this dealer and explained my situation and first spoke to Debbie who was nice and then handed me over to Paul (manager). I explained to Paul I wanted to put 4k down and not a penny more and I wanted a payment under 550 a month and preferably 500. Paul called me and said that he would sell me the car for 52k on the road and would make a deal with me. Well, come to find out this was all just a BIG LIE to get me in the door on Black Friday. When I arrived I met with Paul and again he was very nice and respectful to me as well as Steve(sales person). While I test drove the XC90 for first time (not impressed) it was a rough ride and lots of wind noise on the highway. You have to get the air suspension on the Volvo or you will feel every pot hole. Anyways, when we got back from the test drive and Paul came back to me with final numbers. The offer from Paul was 25k for my subaru (what a joke) and 780 a month for the Volvo at 54k before taxes when on the phone he told me 52k ON THE ROAD. This was a huge lie to just get me in the door. I have owned over 25 vehicles in last 15 years and have seen tons of dealers and this was one of the worst. I was very upfront with Paul and Bill Kids but all they tried to do was screw me over. I will not be back to this dealer and highly urge others to stay away. This is not a way to do business and lie to your customers to just get them in the door. I will be going to Koons Volvo who is already offering me more for my trade and were shocked at numbers Bill Kidds provided. I will spend my hard earned money somewhere else. Watch out for this dealer. Stay away. More
Love the Volvo Sales Team at this delaership I purchased my second new car today from Bill Kidds Volvo today. I have worked with Paul (Sales Manager) and his team on both cars. Debbie (sales ex I purchased my second new car today from Bill Kidds Volvo today. I have worked with Paul (Sales Manager) and his team on both cars. Debbie (sales exec) took the lead to help me with the purchase of my 2017 Volvo XC90 today. It was a fantastic experience on this as well as my previous purchase. Paul and team make it a point of creating a multi car relationship with their customers. They sold me my 2015 Volvo S80 and made sure it was in excellent shape through delivery of great dealer service throughout the time I owned the car. It was easy for them to know the product they were buying back from me. I was direct in telling them what I was looking for at the price that made sense for me. We found a place that worked for both of us and my trade / purchase was done in under 2 hours. Professional with attention to detail and good follow through. I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with my purchase and this dealership. More
Told Salespeople coming but Sold pre owned vehicle I was in direct communication with Salesperson that I am coming for a pre owned vehicle. Called her to tell her running late and she said someone else I was in direct communication with Salesperson that I am coming for a pre owned vehicle. Called her to tell her running late and she said someone else is test driving it. Then said too late it's sold. Couldn't have the courtesy to call me or even the fact I was working with them for over a week on pre owned cars to wait. I communicated with the salesperson about the fact coming for the vehicle and I had made my mind up. I am busy white collar professional with young kids so my time is as precious as theirs. I even left work early to do this. Can't believe it still. No sense of loyalty or Customer service. More

The sales transaction was effortless with us coming to an agreed price within minutes. Our questions were answered and we were given a fair trade on our 2011 Toyota Sienna. I would highly recommend Bill Kids Volvo as our experience was truly exceptional. More
Dealership Discriminates Against Cancer Survivor My wife is in clinical remission. I wanted to buy her a preowned Volvo convertible to celebrate ther amazing and successful battle against cancer. The My wife is in clinical remission. I wanted to buy her a preowned Volvo convertible to celebrate ther amazing and successful battle against cancer. The used car salesperson would not accept a deposit to hold the car until I could come home from my business trip to place my name on the bill of sales. We agreed that my wife would come in the next morning and pay for the car but I would sign the papers at the end of the week. When I told him she had had cancer, his attitude changed and his entire demeanor changed. That night he sold the car to someone else even after agreeing to meet her in the morning. I have all the text messages to prove the agreement between us. The sales manager was rude when I called to speak my displeasure. He could care less. But more unfortunate is the owner who is a "Kidd" l, would do nothing to intervene. I asked her to honor her salesperson's commitment. She said they wouldn't have been in business all these years if they weren't fair to their customers. When I shared to her that this was a celebratory gift for my wife being in remission ... She told me that sometimes these things happen and she could not do anything about the mistake. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THE DEALERSHIP to send he message that their treatment is straight up cold and uncaring. More
