Ghost in my car I have been plagued by the check engine light going on and off for a few months. The other shop was not able to find my problem but Ric at Bill Kay d I have been plagued by the check engine light going on and off for a few months. Disappointed with appt The people in the service dept have been extremely helpful and professional in the past, no complaints there. However, I had made an appointment well The people in the service dept have been extremely helpful and professional in the past, no complaints there. However, I had made an appointment well in advance to have complete check and service, including checking brakes and tires. When I arrived, I told the gentleman I had an appointment. He looked at his schedule and told me it was for just an oil change. I responded no and explained what the appointment was for. He ‘half responded ‘ okay and directed me to the waiting room. In less than 25 minutes later, I was told the car was finished and all it needed was oil change. When I questioned everything else that I requested to be checked, the rep said everything was checked and all is fine. In past I was given a print out of everything they checked and what needed attention- didn’t get that this time. I’m 99 percent sure nothing was checked. To go to you for service requires my taking a vacation day off work. Granted I had the rest of day to myself, my car needed service and your team did not fulfill expectations. Called in for Altima recall - disappointed Called by outbound to schedule Altima recall check for transmission. I had a couple intermittent shimmers so I appreciate the pro activity. Came and w Called by outbound to schedule Altima recall check for transmission. I had a couple intermittent shimmers so I appreciate the pro activity. Came and waited over an hour to be told the transmission checked out but I needed a carbon cleaning on the air path as it was tripping a sensor...$200. I felt real bait and switched. I purchase the vehicle certified pre owned and was already frustrared as I had the vehicle for less than a year under CPO and had to come in on my time to attend to it. I felt the service Mgr was cold and checked out about my complaint. My argument was that the carbon cleaning should have been part of the CPO inspection and I shouldn't have pay for it. He was more concerned that the sales dept would take the hit for that insread of his service dept. Real class. The Sales manager did try and take care of me but, merely negotiated the carbon cleaning to $75. I really feel that you guys shoul compensate me the additional $75 for the poor service I received. I was there for over 4 hours total and it really was inconvenient. The customer experience that I had would not make me really want to use this location for any future service work.
