The epitome of a used car lot! Bought a 2017 Acadia. Had it checked out by mechanic before purchasing. He found an oil pan leak- brought it to the attention of the salesman who told me the car is "as is". I later found out that the oil pan and gasket are part of an implied warranty and must be repaired within 14 days...by law. Thirteen days later the air conditioning stopped working. I found on the Carfax that Bill Kay recharged the AC in July- just a few weeks before I purchased the vehicle. When I brought it to the dealership's attention they said my mechanic looked at it and didn't find it. Fun fact- you can't see a Freon leak without injecting dye and more Freon...this costs nearly $800. I paid for an outside company to run the diagnostics because the Clean Air Act fines businesses for recharging without diagnosing Freon as it is an EPA violation. It was a $1200 repair that took less than 2 days to find. Went back to the dealership and asked them to do the right thing since they were clearly aware of the issue and willfully hid the leak and costly repair. They offered to repair it for $1600 and cover half of it- that plus the cost of me having to diagnose it saves me zero dollars and zero cents. Ignorance is not a legal defense and as a single mom I was the perfect victim. Be cautious! Salesmen will gaslight you into believing that the dealership is responsible for nothing unless you buy their inflated warranty which doesn't cover the costs of most repairs. The upper management will stall and push the talks to lower level employees. Hoping the Attorney General can help- but Bill Kay is also ignoring their request to answer my complaint within the time frame. More

Contacting Bert via phone at first in re: to a specific auto (Buick Envision Premium 1) was awesome! He was extremely helpful and polite. Once we arrived to see and ride the vehicle, Bert was standing at the door waiting for us! We arrived earlier than the time that they opened the doors, but he took us in early anyway! It was a great experience with all we met with, including the final moment of signing everything. Thanks to all at Bill Kay Honda!! Diana J Braun More
It’s unfortunate that i have to write this review. I can not give bill kay a good review for these reasons. First off bill kay had a 2018 F150 cleared by their service department and was “checked” they sold me the car and i haven’t had an end to it. After spending $40k on this truck i thought i would have a solid car, but no my truck the first week had 0 power, bad gas mileage, and just issues. So i called bill kay and ask them what to do. Jeff (sales manager) told me to bring the car a ford dealership to get diagnosed. So i did exactly that. This truck was on their lot for a little bit and was a good looking truck and who knows how many people drove it since then. This ended up being a huge problem the bill kays service department was unable to correctly install a break caliber, and pads on a truck they failed to lubricant the caliber pins and installed the pads on wrong. As a certified mechanic id expect better but i was wrong. After spending $500+ on new pads, rotors, caliber pins, and a wheels bearing. Bill kay has still not as of 5/18/22 paid me for any of the damages they caused. (I had 100% of proof with service records) after about a week i had more issues. The truck that was supposed to be inspected by their “certified mechanics” my truck has been in the shop longer than ive been driving it. The amount of issues ive had with this truck and 0 help from bill kay is insane. They have been upset with me explaining my situation and do not want to pay for the break damages. With their techs no being able to install break pads correctly that scares me to the point where i wouldnt trust them working on a car. I do not recommend this crappy dealer who do not back their techs of their sales department. This is a story of exactly what happened i wish bill kay was better but i was wrong. Take this as a warning. More

I was hoping to buy a used Honda Civic from Bill Kay Honda, and when it came to conversing with Dan, a member of the finance team, I was treated with a great amount of disrespect. I was cut off several Honda, and when it came to conversing with Dan, a member of the finance team, I was treated with a great amount of disrespect. I was cut off several times while trying to receive clarity, and was told "it is nearly impossible to explain finance to someone who simply does not understand." I have gone through the car buying process before, and while I am young, I know how buying a car and financing works, I purchased my current car on my own at 19. I am aware that dealers can only do so much when it comes to banks and what they decide, but how the dealer handles giving out information to the customer is all up to them, and in this case it was handled poorly. I was also told "there is nothing more I can do, your credit is so poor that being approved for anything should be good news for you." The quotes mentioned above, were just the tip of the iceberg, and the conversation ended when Dan terminated the call in the middle of me trying to thank him for his time. More
I drove 50 miles to get to this dealer. On the 50-mile drive home the car was making a funny noise. Once I got to local roads, the noise was much worse. It turned out that when the dealer changed the oi drive home the car was making a funny noise. Once I got to local roads, the noise was much worse. It turned out that when the dealer changed the oil they didn't put the bolts in the front of the splash pan, and its front edge was dragging on the ground. Had it gotten caught and ripped off the car, it could have caused a multi-car 70-MPH accident. Anybody can make a mistake, but when I called to report the problem and that I had paid $58 to have it repaired, the only responses I got were "So what?" and "What do you want me to do about it?" They wouldn't even reimburse me for the repair cost, let alone have any regret that they caused such a dangerous condition. Anyone can make a mistake, but when you are paying more than $20,000 for a car, you expect the company to stand behind it. All I got was that it is now my problem. Definitely will not use this dealership again! More
