Dealers are dishonest. I was told the day I purchased my truck that all their used vehicles go thru a safety inspection. It was daytime and I assumed that since the car had gone thru the "safety inspection" truck that all their used vehicles go thru a safety inspection. It was daytime and I assumed that since the car had gone thru the "safety inspection" all the lights were in working order. Took the vehicle to our mechanic the next day to have some other things repaired and were told that the headlights, tail lights and brake lights were not working. When I went back to Bill Kay Chevrolet that same day and asked them why the lights did not work and if it had a safety inspection why was that not fixed and was told by Greg Cantu "I said it had a safety inspection not that it had passed" . I will never purchase from them again, and will never tell anyone I know to go to them. If this is how the front of the company works, I would hate to see how the mechanics in the back are handling things. More

I was browsing for cars when I saw a blue Pontiac GTO in the lot. When I sat in it I immediately knew I wanted the car. However, as far as price negotiations went, they were not willing to budge from th the lot. When I sat in it I immediately knew I wanted the car. However, as far as price negotiations went, they were not willing to budge from their listed price too much. But on that note it was considerably cheaper from other offers I found online such as craigslist and yahoo autos who were wanting 20,000 and upward whereas Bill Kay was listing the price around 15,500. When going over my financing options they showed me a list of the rates available from different banks and showed me the lowest rates available. After I purchased the vehicle, they did not do the courtesy "fill up your gas tank" that I have received from every other dealer in my past car buying experiences. Bill Kay only does that for new car purchases apparently. Once they had finished applying the protective detail, they left excess wax on the vehicle as well as the price tag that was written in marker on the windshield, which was fixed after the fact once I had pointed it out. Attention to detail needs to be worked on a little, but overall I am happy with the condition of the vehicle and my overall buying experience. More
Second purchase from Bill Kay Chevrolet. I purchased the new Impala and after driving it for a day I must report that it is a phenomenal vehicle. Proud to buy American because if the Impala doesn't satisfy your all your transportation needs/demands, then there is something wrong with you. My sales guy Jon Forkal, did a great job explaining the Impala's features and when I took delivery sat in the car with me, synced my phone and set-up controls and screens. No need to be an electronics engineer, very intuitive display and functions. Overwhelming yes but not after Jon walked me through. Got a good and fair price for my trade-in from Greg Cantu who didn't belittle my trades shortcomings. All around I think I got a great deal. Don't know much about the service department other than it is huge. Not a one stall outfit. Jason K. led me to the Bill Kay dealership via another encounter so I thank him for that. Finally, David Casino (the paperwork guy), got me in an out in record time with no hassles. Great team and I look forward to getting my new Impala serviced by these guys. Richard Marchese More

I don't like writing reviews but for such a big purchase I just had to. I came here to buy a "used"car. Yes I know theyre not new. But I just like to say that as much as the sales person was trying purchase I just had to. I came here to buy a "used"car. Yes I know theyre not new. But I just like to say that as much as the sales person was trying to pamper me about the car. Once I purchased it his attitude did a 180 when I brought up a complaint about the car I had purchased a day before. I had two complainta actually. First I actually found out the car was advertised 1000 less online. Which I see dealers don't have to be open on that. So I was upset they didn't share that info. So now I knew they were thieves. Second they are scammers worse than the city dealers because they hide things better. The very next day the check engine light when on, very next day. I have pics to prove. This is when the sales person turned stupid on me and said he doesn't know anything about the cars he sells. He just sells. They didn't want to work anything out with me, no returns. I paid cash for this car taken it is in good condition. Dont let the car fax and looks fool you. If you get a chance have it taken to an auto zone to run the diagnosis on the car. I have a feeling they just reset the check engine lights on the cars. I've learned my lesson. Which is why I never purchased from a dealer. This was my first experience. Never again. At least not from chevy especially not that location. All three car I had before were from privates. Never had issues like this. P.s I ran the diagnosis at auto zone. They did offer to do that, at the dealer like they were helping. But auto zone does it for free. I have the receipt for the 3 possible things it can be. Beware and always check online first and try to run a diagnosis if they let you. More
I went to Bill Kay because I found the BMW I wanted there. I drove 3 hours from Indiana to get this car, and it was worth it. I found the car and picked it up all in the same day. When I talked to them originally on the phone, I told them I would be in a hurry to get the deal done, and they worked quickly to make it happen fast. The car was even detailed exceptionally well upon my arrival. Ryan was very professional through the entire process and make the deal pleasant, as well as David who took care of all my paperwork. I would normally never buy a car from or around Chicago, but in dealing with the fellas at Bill Kay has made me rethink that philosophy. Thanks!! More
