Trent and JB helped us buy our first big car! When we came back, JB helped answer all of our questions and he also ended up closing the deal with us a couple of days later after we realized it really is a wonderful car. The staff were friendly, efficient, and JB even came in on New Year’s Day to help us with the process and stayed the whole tome until he knew we were settled and driving off the lot. More
Extremely disappointed. Scheduled a basic oil change for my daughter's 2017 Ford Escape. Service advisor explained there was a choice between fluid/filter change with mineral based fluid for approximately my daughter's 2017 Ford Escape. Service advisor explained there was a choice between fluid/filter change with mineral based fluid for approximately $25 or with semi-synthetic for approximately $38. I scheduled the $25 service. The $38 service was performed and the fluid level was over one quart overfull. I spoke with the Service Director who requested the vehicle be returned to correct fluid level. Service Director, Robert offered to refund the $38 for the inconvenience. The offer of a full refund was kind of Robert; I was mostly concerned with the level of overfill of the oil possibly contacting rotating components causing aeration of the oil. I scheduled a time of 10:30 on Jan 2 to have the oil level corrected. Robert was out this day and would inform the Parts Manager Chad about the issue as he would be present this day. Arriving at 10:25, the Service Advisor informed me my appointment was not in the schedule, but would have the car attended straight away and estimated completion in 20-30 minutes. One hour later the work was completed; there was a customer that arrived 10-15 minutes after me and his fluid filter change was completed about five minutes before me. I asked the same Service Advisor when collecting the car if the engine oil level was verified correct. He stated yes, the fluid level was checked three times with allowing sufficient time between checks for fluid drain-back. I didn't feel it appropriate to check the level myself before leaving. I did check the level after returning home. The fluid level was again overfilled by the same amount! There is only two possible explanations for this scenario, incompetence or dishonesty. The owners manual states the 1.5L engine requires 4.3 quarts and the 2.0L engine requires 5.7 quarts. My car has the 1.5L. The level of overfill on the dipstick looks very close to the capacity difference between the two engines. If the automatic fill feature is incorrectly set for a 1.5L, I would expect that would have been caught when checking the fluid level with the dipstick. I will not waste my time retuning the vehicle a third time. Steve Graddy More
