Made an appointment for diagnostic on my 2016 Silverado truck with 46,000 miles on it due to a DEF heater failure that is covered under warranty. This is a 2 hour job by Chevrolet standards. I was told I would have to leave my truck and they would diagnose it in a few days and then in a few more days they could get to it, period. Called Miller and Miller Chevrolet the the service department there shuffled less pressing appointments to get my vehicle diagnosed for warranty and in for repair in a couple of days. That’s SERVICE. Only one star because the young salesman was nice. The sales manager was extremely riude. Out the door qoute changed when going to close the deal. I know good service and this was an awful experience. I actually felt threatened by the sales manager. He said he was keeping me from beating up on the salesman. The salesman wasn’t the one who gave me the out the door qoute. It was someone else in management. The young salesman could teach the sale manager a lesson in good salesmanship. The sales manager nearly cost this young man a commission he worked hard to earn . Word of advice from a old business guy. Keep the sales manager in the back . Don’t let him talk to your customers. I suppose they are not to be blamed. In these days when new cars can be sold above MSRP and used cars can be sold for near the price of new even though they are two years and thousands of miles old. I am glad I own two relatively new vehicles so my wife and I will not have to worry about replacing them until after this craziness calms down, if we ever do.
