NEVER BUYING ANOTHER CAR FROM HERE AGAIN! I purchased a 2013 Focus in May. In June I took the car to get it looked at because it would shake, shutter, jerk, and wasn't shifting right. They tol I purchased a 2013 Focus in May. In June I took the car to get it looked at because it would shake, shutter, jerk, and wasn't shifting right. They told me they reset it. Well, at first it might have helped a little bit but not really. I waited a little longer and took it back to the garage and they done the same thing. However, this time it made it ten times worse. I didn't get half a mile down the road before I could tell it didn't help. So I called the dealership and talked to the manager. He told me that the transmissions in the focus and fiesta has been a huge headache and i just need to trade it in and get a different vehicle. The manager must not have known that since my car is still under warrenty, he HAS to fix it! So, I called a different dealership I told them the same thing I told Boyd county. The problems I stated previously and they said okay. Not an hour later they came and told me the clutch is bad and reordered me a new one. So to Boyd County the PROBLEM CAN BE FIXED. Due to the treatment I have had at this dealership I will NEVER buy another car from them again!! My dad and whole family are big ford people (that's all we drive) they said they will NEVER BUY from Boyd county again!! So if you have a Focus from years 2012-2016 and it has the same problems as mine DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT deal with these people. They will let your warranty run out so you'll have to pay out of pocket!! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN!!!!!! Not even for basic maintenance! More

I was thinking the issue would be covered by the extended warranty I had purchased on the car when I bought it from Boyd County Ford in 2012 bc seemed like a sensor or mechanical issue. After waiting about an hour they came out and said you can pick your car up at the window and at that time informed us there was a pricy charge for the services. Never have I taken a car for a problem to be looked at , that the dealership did not come out and say this is the problem we found, it will not be covered by the warranty and do you want us to proceed? At this point my hands were tied bc they told us they would not release the car until the bill was paid. I feel like I should have been informed the work was not going to be covered by warranty and let me make a decision on whether to proceed with fixing the problem. I asked why they did not ask me before proceeding with the service bc had I known it was not covered by warranty I would not have had the repair done at that time. the guys answer on the phone was we just assumed you would want us to go ahead and do it. I feel like this is poor customer service communication. I feel like I was taken advantage of also bc they knew by fixing I would have to pay the money to get my car returned to me. I would not recommend this service dept to anyone again and I will not be back! More

It stinks! I bought a 2013 Ford Escape after I had totaled my previous car this winter. My husband fell in love with the Titanium version the day it was traded I bought a 2013 Ford Escape after I had totaled my previous car this winter. My husband fell in love with the Titanium version the day it was traded in. We were told that we could bring it in to be detailed when we felt like it after we bought it since they didn't have time to detail it before our purchase. We bought the car, and I took it in for detailing when it quit raining a couple weeks later. The original owner had used the car to haul dogs. I pointed this out when I dropped off the car. It spent 2 hours with them being detailed. When I picked it up it still had the previous owner's trash in it. The only thing we could tell they had done was scrape a number off the window. I am allergic to dogs and have been sick since I bought this car. Had I known that was all the detailing I would get I would not have bought this car. It's embarrassing to have friends get in my car only to say they can smell the dogs. More

Still waiting! Brought my 2001 escape in with forward transmission problems on new years eve was quoted a price and the problem, parts were ordered Tuesday the 2nd o Brought my 2001 escape in with forward transmission problems on new years eve was quoted a price and the problem, parts were ordered Tuesday the 2nd of Jan. Called Thursday to see how things were going and was told your escape would be ready around noon of Friday. I called Friday around 2:30 to see if it was ready and was told parts were not in yet and had me mixed up with another escape that had transmission problems I live in Ashland and work in Huntington and 1 car household so you can imagine the stress of trying to get to work another week! Any rate the next week rolls around I check Monday evening I get parts not here yet talking with several different people that work there. Wednesday comes and no parts because they couldn't find a part because of older model I have 2001 so asked if I would be ok with an after market ( Hub ) I don't even know what that means, so here it is coming up on 3 weeks parts not delivered yet asking me if after market part is ok? Service mgr said we should have got you a rental car that this has gone on to long,but we don't have any atm .Mr Fannon if you read this can you please fix my car without the xx run-around PLEASE! Im afraid my job may be in jeapordy if it goes on longer I have a 4yr old that has to be taken places etc More
