What started out on a good note surprisingly turned into a great experience. When I initially visited the dealership for a test drive, my salesman, Dave Ward, made me feel at ease with his knowledge and la a great experience. He didn't guide me to any particular vehicle - he just said to find the car I wanted. I left the dealership with an idea of the exact vehicle I would purchase. I was contacted by the internet manager, Chris Premont, who worked with us on the features and price we needed to get to. We even got personalized service from the GM, Anthony Hewitt, which was a very pleasant surprise. I mean, how many GM's actually take the time to speak to potential buyers of a $20,000 car? But he was very personable and addressed any and all concerns. To top off the experience, Philip Lam, the finance manager, completed the quickest and most painless document-signing experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. The 4 gentlemen listed above were extremely professional and courteous, and turned what, to me, is typically a torturous experience into one that was pleasant and very worthwhile. I have brothers-in-law that will be looking to buy my nieces some new vehicles, and I won't hesitate to send them Ron Carter, and these 4 gentlemen in particular. More

Getting a good deal is important and Chris has followed up with emails and phone calls, even though I bought a Cadillac and not a Hyundai. More

On Oct 4th 2012, my wife n I went to Ron Carter Clear Lake to lease a vehicle. Now it's a given fact that before any car purchasing/leasing the sales person tells the customer the price. In this case, they wanted to check all of our credit before even disclosing the $ number. In one day all this took us three trips to the dealership and we live about an hour away. FIRST TRIP: After choosing the vehicle, they pulled our credit report first n then we agreed on the price WHICH WAS 0 DOWN AND $309.68 per month for 3 years lease. On their demand, we left $500.00 as in good faith that when we come back this check will be returned to us. SECOND TRIP: They gave us more run around with credit issues and we decided to take my father's offer to co-sign or what ever it takes. Everything resolved and In all understanding between us and the financial manager. We went back an hour drive and brought my father back to the dealer ship. THIRD TRIP: As soon as I got back to the dealer ship and I got myself seated, not a word spoken from me, the financial manager threatens me and says, "if your voice gets high I'll have to make you leave". I had no idea where he was going with that...well a few seconds later he throws at me another curveball and says, "well that $500.00 you gave us will be used towards the down payment". I reminded him that we agreed and signed on 0 down and there is NO Down payment then he said okay then we will give you this check back after you fill out the follow-up survey. My wife got upset and told him that he can not keep our money hostage for two weeks and besides it's entirely upto the customer to fill out any kind of survey. So the financial manager who all along was rude and had a prejudice attitude towards us said, "No Survey No Deal". I in 47 years of my dealing and wheeling have never encountered such an unprofessional, rude and most of all prejudice attitude from any business as I have at Ron Carter Hyundai dealer ship's staff. . Our experience with them has been nothing but very un-professional, Lies after lies, Gave us run around all day, did NOT honor the deal we shook hands on, Discrimination....Last minute condition by Ryan Mirtin..I quote, " No survey, No Deal" The details will be provided by our attorney. I would like to start by mentioning that this is my fourth Hyundai purchase since '05 and in my opinion the sell themselves. This is my first new car purchase from Ron Carter but I have been using thei fourth Hyundai purchase since '05 and in my opinion the sell themselves. This is my first new car purchase from Ron Carter but I have been using their service dept. We purhchased a '13 Sante Fe Sport. Our sales person was Charles Henderson and he was great from the get go and the single reason I didn't feel the need to visit another dealer. I don't feel we got as good a deal as I would have liked but in any case we did come to an agreement. Everything went well until the first night we got our new vehicle home- we noticed areas of specs of rust on the roof and around the vehicle that we had not seen because we were in a hurry and running late when we left. That was a Saturday so we had to wait till Monday to take it back. They kept it two days to get it buffed and cleaned properly but they did give my wife a new Sonata to drive while the had it. For our troubles, they have offered to detail again at our convenience and fillup next time we take it by. Mike Ogaz and Charles took care of us every step ofthe way and I wouldn't buy a vehicle anywhere else. More
We went to buy a new car today and the sales man and his Manager made it very easy and painless.Very friendly staff and excellent customer service.
