Paid $179 for a presale inspection. Was told the front brakes were less than 3mm and it needed rotors also. Was also told the oil pan was leaking. Was given prices for both repairs. 10 Was told the front brakes were less than 3mm and it needed rotors also. Was also told the oil pan was leaking. Was given prices for both repairs. 10 days later after purchasing the Jeep, Was told by another jeep dealer that the oil pan was fine and the brake pads were 7mm and 8 mm and the rotors were fine. I have not seen one drop of oil in the driveway or garage. Either Big O is incompetent OR they are scam artists. I would never do business with them again. Additionally, the engine light went on yesterday and after having another dealer investigate, was told there was almost no oil in the engine. Obviously, Big O never checked that in their inspection. They lost a sale today . Really thought they would be more helpful towards someone interested in leasing a new jeep with them. Very disappointed. Really thought they would be more helpful towards someone interested in leasing a new jeep with them. Very disappointed. More
My experience with the service department at Big O Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Greenville on Laurens Rd was not a good experience at all. First of all the mgr Chris informed me it would be 2 weeks before they co Chrysler Jeep in Greenville on Laurens Rd was not a good experience at all. First of all the mgr Chris informed me it would be 2 weeks before they could even look at my 2012 Dodge Avenger, okay I was patient there. But then once he did look at the car, he stated that they were not able to do a full diagnostic because the car didn't stay running long enough to do a full diagnostic. He stated a quote to start of $700 for the cable ends, terminals, and the battery, I wasn't looking to pay this price to start, I just needed a diagnostic, so when I came to pick up the car, I was charged $163.00 for a diagnostic that wasn't complete. And because he said they worked on it for 2 hours, he has to charge me, and I wasn't able to get anything out of the car or remove my tag until it was paid, he was very rude about it not friendly at all. I got LKQ a junk car salvage company to pick my car up for free and get money for the vehicle. Chris waited until after LKQ picked up my car to inform me via text that there were other options available since they were not able to service. Like Really, I text back I am not understanding of why I am just getting options after LKQ has already picked up my car. I informed him via text of how I felt, still was no response, I never received a survey either to my email. I am replying here of my horrible experience. I had the same issue with my Nissan and the Nissan dealership worked on my car for hours and wasn't able to get it running, and didn't charge me for the diagnostic. I would never come here ever, bc of this experience and for a black woman to get treated w/ no respect SMH!!!! More
One of the worst ‘service’ experiences. I asked for an oil change, tire rotation and to look at the front passenger door as it is no longer sealing properly. Of course, I expected some type I asked for an oil change, tire rotation and to look at the front passenger door as it is no longer sealing properly. Of course, I expected some type of upsell in service. How about $560 worth? Not now; thank you. That was the moment things went south. Without looking at the door, Jose Guzman ‘service’ advisor told me it wasn’t covered under the manufacturer’s warranty due to high milage. I agreed. I have an extended warranty. Didn’t matter. Not covered. I showed him the Wrap coverage contract section D.3 (Doors). Walked away. Came back. Likely not covered. I would need to pay $149 for a diagnostic. Happy to do that but don’t tell me it’s not covered if you don’t know the cause. At the register, I presented a coupon taken from THEIR OWN web page. You can’t use it because you didn’t tell me you had one. Now I need to redo the paperwork. Ok; is it that hard to apply a discount? I’ll even help you calculate it. We don’t honor those coupons. Why? Mopar put it on the website; it’s not authorized. Say what? The website specifically states ‘Valid only at Big O Dodge’ and ‘Valid for most makes and models.’ You have to buy a package of 3 to get the coupon deal. I’m down with that because I need an oil change every quarter. Add it to the bill. Jose goes away. Comes back. Those coupons are not good on trucks. Ummmm…all you sell is trucks. I was done. I turned to the cashier. I apologized they had to witness that. They said no problem (the are likely used to it) and wanted to charge me 3% to use a credit card. No thank you; use the debit card. I don’t need points that bad to give you 3%. Beyond ridiculous. Big O? More like Big NO. More

Service Department Review: they had me bring my Jeep Grand Cherokee in at 8:30am. I received a call at 5:00pm that a tech was now looking at it and they would call me in the morning with a quote. I’m a Grand Cherokee in at 8:30am. I received a call at 5:00pm that a tech was now looking at it and they would call me in the morning with a quote. I’m a full time volunteer who delivers meals to those who would be otherwise unable to receive sustenance. I also volunteer at our local food bank. Having my Jeep just sit around until they seem fit to analyze it is unacceptable. So, once they give me their magical price tag, how long before they actually work on the repair? The importance of my vehicle is more than they obviously can imagine. Very VERY disappointed in the way I have been put on the back burner. Shame on you Big O, shame on you! More

Stereotypical car salesmen! I am out of state and I started emailing the dealership last Friday, we went back and forth about the car and my trade in. Finally after emailing f I am out of state and I started emailing the dealership last Friday, we went back and forth about the car and my trade in. Finally after emailing for 3 days I decided that it would be best to keep my trade and sell it myself, so I asked the salesman to send me a screenshot of the window sticker because I was curious if the $82,980 price reflected a dealer markup. When I received the picture of the window sticker, it was accompanied by another picture of a handwritten quote with a markup of $9,995 which brought the price to 92,975. The whole time I had been discussing trades and purchasing this vehicle, I was under the impression that the price was 82,980 because not only did they advertise this price on their website, they also advertised it for 82,980 on Autotrader for the same price, but on Truecar they advertised it for 81,980!!! After bringing this to the salesmans attention, he just casually said he wasn't sure why the prices were wrong, but if I wanted it that $92,975 is what it would cost!! The price being wrong on one page I can see being a mistake, but on 3 different sites? This is false advertisement, and had I not requested a copy of the window sticker, I would have driven several hours to find out that they put a $9,995 markup and didn't advertise it. More
