I took my car in to have a coolant flush in February, shortly after that I start hearing a sound that sounded like running water in my dash. I called the dealership and they had me to bring it back in an shortly after that I start hearing a sound that sounded like running water in my dash. I called the dealership and they had me to bring it back in and supposedly solve the problem. I took it back in and the very next day, I still hear the same sound, I called them back and explained to them that they had fixed the problem. I was then told that I would need to leave it overnight because the technician would need for the car to be cool when he starts to work on it. I explained to them that I would need a loaner car because this was my only means of transportation. They told me that they didn’t have a car available and would let me know when they did; I had to keep calling them to see if they had one. On March 19th, I called to see when I was going to be able to get my car fixed; Debbie Sharp told me that she would have a care available; I made an appointment to drop my car off on March 21, 2012. On March 21, 2012, Debbie called me around 2pm., to tell me that the customer wasn’t going to bring the car back and she needed to push me back one more day. I explained to her that this wasn’t going to work that I need my car fixed. They got the customer to bring the car back; I dropped my car off and picked it up the next day on March 22, 2012. My car is still not fixed; when I took my car in back in February for the coolant flush I did not have this problem. This store definitely lacks in providing to good/excellent customer service; especially Debbie Sharp, her explanation to me was that my car isn’t going to catch on fire and that this is a problem with 2008 Kia Spectra. If this was already known; no one explained this to me when they sold me the car or when I initially to it to have it serviced. I paid for a service and I expect to have my fixed correctly. It’s been almost 2 months and I’m still trying to get my fixed. I guess my next steps will be to submit a complaint to the BBB and see if they can help me get this issue resolved. More
Well after much communication back and forth and their previous dealings I've learned that the group will never accept responsibility and wanted me to drop the complaint. This is not going to happen. Stil previous dealings I've learned that the group will never accept responsibility and wanted me to drop the complaint. This is not going to happen. Still dissatisfied. More
This dealer sold a KIA Sedona van and installed a remote starter incorrectly on it. The van continually had wiring problems and the dealership continued to charge for additional service and parts. I took starter incorrectly on it. The van continually had wiring problems and the dealership continued to charge for additional service and parts. I took the van to a different dealer who showed me that the remote was installed wrong and that it was causing all the problems. The Elizabethtown dealership could not find the problem, had put the remote starter in wrong, did not return my calls or refund the money they charged or even refund tthe cost of getting the van fixed at another dealership. They continued to tell me they were looking into it and would never call back. DO NOT USE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT ELIZABETHTOWN KIA. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY DID NOT BACK UP THEIR WARRANTY. More
I went in to the dealership looking to trade in my vehicle for something with better gas mileage. While there I drove a few new and a few used vehicles. I was also shopping at another dealership as th vehicle for something with better gas mileage. While there I drove a few new and a few used vehicles. I was also shopping at another dealership as they had two vehicles that had caught my eye as well. After narrowing it down at to a vehicle at both dealerships I made an offer to Tracy on the used vehicle I selected. I told them I was going to look at another car down the road and to get back with me if they could accept the offer. While at the other dealership another buyer was also bidding on the vehicle. Tracy called me and said he could definitely do the amount I requested out the door. I was pretty surprised they came down that quickly so I asked him specifically "out the door, tax title and all?". He put me on hold, called the GM and came back and said not a problem at all. I left the other dealership and got back to Tracy and the GM( can't remember his name) and started doing paperwork. About 40 minutes into this I see they have jacked the price up. When I start questioning it they apologized and were confused by what I said and they might be able to move on the price a little bit. At this point I was actually wrapped so far in I just tried to keep from getting hammered even more completed the deal and left. I was in a really bad situation with driving as far as I was and needing to get rid of the gas guzzler I had. They knew it and lied and stole from me the best they could. They knew I was intent on finalizing a deal by the end of the day that day and were as deceptive as they could be. Disgusting. Do not trust them. Do not buy from them. More
My Saturday at The Kia Store Etown turned out to be a very good one although it didn't start that way. I was there the previous Saturday and thought we had everything finished up. But due to a total mix very good one although it didn't start that way. I was there the previous Saturday and thought we had everything finished up. But due to a total mix up between me and the salesmen, i had to go back to the dealership and tie off some loose ends. I arrived at the dealership with a good amount of animosity towards the dealership and their staff. Within minutes of my arrival, the sales manager came up to me, apologized for all the confusion, and took full responsibility. At that point I apologized as well, because all the confusion could have been avoided had I not been so stubborn. The sales manager accepting responsibility went a long way with me, and it was nice for a change to see a used car salesmen, do that. While I was redoing some paper work with the finance manager, they actually filled up my gas tank. So I left the dealerships with a full tank of gas and a smile. More
