I visited Biener Ford's service department on multiple occasions to address a persistent 'check engine' light most likely occurring inside of the evaporative emission control system. Over the course of three visits (30+ days in the shop), they failed to make the necessary adjustments. Even after shelling out nearly $7,000 in maintenance fees and repairs, I’m still driving around with the same 'check engine' light still on from earlier this year. If you’re planning on having your vehicle serviced here, then I urge you to save your money. The dealership promised to contact me when they received the proper parts; I have yet to receive a phone call, text message, or e-mail. The service advisor, Chris Urena, treated me with the utmost disrespect; he has very little compassion and is very unprofessional in his text exchanges. He commonly misspelled words and would struggle to communicate the repair process. During one of the several visits to repair the "check engine" light, Chris even promised to perform a state inspection. You could imagine my dismay when I picked up the vehicle and discovered the "check engine" light still on and the old sticker affixed to the windshield. The service manager, Louis Del Balzo, made several guarantees after each visit that the problem would not recur; It was troubling to learn that this was a lie. I cannot believe a dealership would charge a person that much money and be comfortable with not addressing the issue. A $7,000 maintenance visit may bankrupt a person, which is why I was compelled to write this complaint. Until I am contacted by the General Manager, I will continue to make complaints and warn others of this incident. This cannot happen to another human being.
