This is my 4th BMW, but my 1st time going to Beverly Hills BMW. They kept their word and did not bait and switch me on the price. I will definitely be coming back. Love my new i4. After waiting over a year for delivery of a new i4m50, the dealer charged more than the original order price and refused to honor their word regarding pricing. Delivery of the car was also poor... the the dealer charged more than the original order price and refused to honor their word regarding pricing. Delivery of the car was also poor... the person who walked us through the car was not knowledgeable about the car and was unfriendly. The finance department would not send us complete copies of our warranties and lied to us about the cosmetic coverage for wheels (originally said that there was unlimited number of repairs during the term but we were later told that there would only be a few repairs under the warranty). They had a used car in stock with the options I wanted. The salesperson was fine but minimally involved since I knew what I wanted and they don't negotiate on prices. The finance rep was nice, though I was there for 4 hours despite having my own credit union funding. I am rating 4 stars because I was presented with something was a "warranty" only later in the paperwork process to find out it was a $900 line item on my invoice. To their credit they claim they will refund that and send a check to my bank so I do not have to pay for it as I do not want nor need this product. This is still in process so 4 stars in good faith that they will follow thru. It took a long time for them to get my bank all the documents, almost 3 weeks despite being a CUDL situation. I don't know if this is a "less than 5 stars = 0" in the eyes of the dealer survey system but I'm being honest and that is a flawed system if I can't be honest. Would I buy a car here again? Sure, but I'd want to do as much as possible before I come in, it is 2023 after all and I was not on the fence about buying, I was buying and I said that before I came in. If I have to be there more than an hour next time I will walk. Everyone was friendly which was great but it is still a dealership. I have PTSD from the archaic dealership business model so I carry some of that with me in this review. More
