Take my car in for regular maintenance as scheduled. Every time I take the car in I get a call at work that something else needs to be replaced, which is never the case. Last time I was told rotors wer Every time I take the car in I get a call at work that something else needs to be replaced, which is never the case. Last time I was told rotors were completely rusted and brake pads were worn and needed to be replaced at a cost of $710. When questioned, the service manager told me that they could just turn the rotors to reduce cost. I declined additional service once again. This time I took it to two other Toyota service departments and ask them to evaluate the brakes. Both told me that my rotors were fine and that my brake pads had plenty of service left on them. Needless to say I am not going back to Bev Smith for service in the future, tired of them trying to add additional service items that are not needed nor warranted. I have also talked to other people who have a Toyota and they state the same tactics with additional service being told needs to be done on their vehicle. So if you have service done at this dealership beware and be smart. Get a second opinion, glad that I did. More
