This dealership is a SCAM. This has been public knowledge for years but unfortunately with limited dealerships in West Michigan, you don't have many options. If you care about a high quality vehicle, honesty and respect this is NOT the place to go. After my family's experience and word from others, it is a matter of time before Mercedes Benz International closes this location. They are selling FAKE WARRANTIES. They show you a full colored brochure of a warranty which claims everything is covered. They proceed to hand you the paperwork to sign. Then when the time comes for a warranty repair, they state the brochure you were shown was not the one they sell. We still have the brochure and receipt from the DAY OF TRANSACTION! They play games with the customers, lie, and cheat people out of thousands of dollars. In addition, they lack all correspondence in addressing the matter. After speaking with other friends and neighbors in Cascade, they all had similar or worse experience with Betten Imports. More
I took my Mercedes for an Oil change, and they had an accident with my car. They called in their so called " Authorized body shop" and then sent me an estimate for the repair, however, they did not look accident with my car. They called in their so called " Authorized body shop" and then sent me an estimate for the repair, however, they did not look at all the damage caused by them. I took my car the same day to another body shop, who gave a detailed repair estimate. Betten Imports refuses to pay for the damage caused. After several emails back and forth, they did not give me the name of the Owner of the Dealership , until I personally had to go there, and also refused to give me the name of their Insurance Company. Their Service Manager , Eric Allen and Office staff apparently do not know that information. Ridiculous. Their Company motto is " Where Relationships Grow", very laughable. He was rude and has no sense of Customer relations. They screwed up and cannot own up to their responsibilities. I asked for the name of the Person driving my vehicle, and apparently he was let go . I will have my Lawyer handle this now. Beware of this Company, they are not honest or ethical. More
Bait and Switch Warning. ..When I purchased my GLC300 I was shown a extended warrantee brochure that showed all kinds of damage would be protected. So I purchased the extended warrantee $1300 So when a strange spot appeared on the drivers seat I took it in to the dealership where I was told this is not covered. I was shocked because the warrantee clearly states it protects the seats from any damage.. I went home and grabbed the brochure i was given I took it back to Betten Imports and talked to the service manager where he laughed and said we don't sell that to Mercedes buyers. He explained that I actually was sold a Mercedes warrantee that doesn't cover any thing.. So I had several knowledgeable dealerships look at the spot.. THEY all explained that the spot was caused be a defective heating element in the seat.. That actually burned the foam in the seat that burned the finish off the leather.. Now I am afraid the seat will catch on FIRE and Betten wont even talk to me anymore NEVER BUY A CAR FROM BETTEN.. More

The reason I’m writing this review is because of an outstanding service experience yesterday. My 2017 E class with 70,000 miles looks brand new, show room clean from an amazing detail. From from the engine compartment to the trunk to every nook and cranny of the interior the detail was pristine. It’s like having a new car. I couldn’t be more thrilled. More

Always exceed my expectations I have only dealt with VW service and some of the people in the office area. He is always honest and does not recommend services that are unnecessary. I have recommended Betten Imports to friends who have Volkswagens and I will continue to do so. My Mercedes was in for warranty work when Betten allowed another customer to GET INTO MY VEHICLE, while it was INSIDE the building. That customer proceeded to back my vehicle into another vehicle, damaging my rear bumper and back quarter pannel. THEN, They provided my Name, address, personal cell phone number, and my vehicle information, including VIN to the driver whole wrecked MY CAR who proceeded to pass it on to his insurance company, and I get a call from THEM! UNBELIEVABLE! My information "should" be protected by this company, by law, instead they pass it out freely to whomever asks. This customer then made false claims to his insurance company, telling them directly that he had permission from me (by name) taking several hours out of my time to correct his lie While still wondering, how did he get my information and what is he going to do with it. To add insult to injury, Mr. Betten dodged phone calls and ignored attempts to reach him until I showed up in person to discuss and demanded to see him. There still, a month later has not been a complete resolution to the bill, insurance claim, my depreciation or even an apology. Beware..., don't buy here, certainly don't service here, and if you ever want to steal someone's identity, just call and ask for information, they'll gladly give it away. More
