Absolutely one of the worst consumer experiences in my life. In short, I was charged $1,000 extra for something I NEVER agreed to, or even knew about, or was even done to my vehicle! Also, I was assured I life. In short, I was charged $1,000 extra for something I NEVER agreed to, or even knew about, or was even done to my vehicle! Also, I was assured I'd be getting my GM supplier discount. I did not. After several weeks of phone tag, and not having my messages returned, finally they agreed to give me $972 via check. Which is broken down to $700 of the $1,000 I was overcharged, and $272 of the $512 that GM stated was my discount. So, I was returned $972 of the $1,512 in which I was owed. The employees were offering me cash to sell future discount codes I may get from GM. The manager admitted it was a terrible deal I received. A reputable business would have made this right. Overall, a terrible experience. This was my first ever brand new car that I bought for myself, and it turned into a month long nightmare. I have shared my experience with all of my friends, family, and co-workers. All of which will never go to this dealership. More
Worst experience in my life, bought a used Yukon Denali, with 10,000 miles on it, was told it had the ultimate option, which it didn't, a $7000 option. I reside in Ne, flew to Michigan, dove the vehicle hom with 10,000 miles on it, was told it had the ultimate option, which it didn't, a $7000 option. I reside in Ne, flew to Michigan, dove the vehicle home, and the next day, it wouldn't start, the battery needed to be replaced. had to drive 50 miles to return mud flaps that wouldn't work because of the lack ultimate option. Intended to drive the vehicle to take a chemo treatment 130 miles away, vehicle wouldn't start, they sent two fobs with the vehicle, one was pared with the Yukon, the other was for an Arcadia, had to take the vehicle to a GM dealer 70 miles away. Contacted the dealership, they would return my call. After several days I finally talked to Calvin, I sent the wrong fob back to them, and they were supposed to send a fob that would work with my vehicle, waited 3 weeks, finally Ronnie intervened on my behalf, He stated they couldn't cut the key on the bottom of the fob to open the doors becasue they needed the key I had to duplicate it. So I had to take the vehicle back to the local GM dealer to get the new fob paired with the vehicle, while I was there the tech asked if I wanted the blank key at the bottom of the fob cut to open the locks on the doors? My response was yes, he stated they would have to sell me a blank key and the cut it, I gave them my approval, they cut the key and it works, I asked the tech if Betton Backer could have e cut the key before they sent the fob out to me and his response was yes the had the capability. I spent $250 at this dealership to resolve problems that should not have occurred if the vehicle would have been preped properly, I was told the vehicle I purchase was a local trade in, but I found out it was a leased vehicle that was purchased out of State. I have bought Semi Trucks in California, my family owned a large diversified farming operation, and these are the most unethical people I have ever dealt with, LET THE BUYER BEWARE. More
Well I bought a car from the used car lot. I took it out for a test drive. Drive for about 20 minutes. I went down Segway to highway got on 31 went to laketon then headed to Henry then back to I took it out for a test drive. Drive for about 20 minutes. I went down Segway to highway got on 31 went to laketon then headed to Henry then back to betten. It drive fine. So I like ok. Well after I ran all gas out I filled it up again that's when it started acting up. I went back to car lot 3 days later. The guy who I bought it from said it was a belt transmission. I like no. He like look it up. No light came on so how could I convince him. So I drove it looked it up but it wasn't that. So I knew it had something to do with fuel system but my warranty doesn't cover that part so I just gave them all my money for down payment. It a new car figure I had time to build up money in sa instead before I need to get it worked on. It a real car lot. Finally a light came on 2 mo the later. I would have to get octane booster or Lucas in order for the car to drive right. We'll I took a video of the light came in showed them they finally hooked it up to there machines and it a bad coil. Just like I had said fuel system. So did they say sorry for selling me a dud. No the top sales guy said he would split the cost with me. It a $900 job so I have to come up with $475. My plan was to pay this car off give it to my son and buy another car from them.. guess what I not doing. Buying another car from that place. I will give the car to my son but I will never buy another car from that place ever again. I waited until I had the money and car was in the shop before I even made this post. I will be posting on ever review site because I was done wrong. Yes they are covering half the cost but thing is I should not even have to be putting it in shop couple days after I buy it. I did half to wait 2 month for the light to come on. So here it is the 5 month later because I had to get $475 while driving a unsafe car because pulling out into the road was scary because I was never sure when it would stop going and stall. Paying half the cost yes they did do that but honestly they should cover it all. It okay though I don't ever have to buy another car from them. My son is turning 18 in a tear and a half. Guess who buying another car? Me guess who isn't buying from Betten.Me... Thank you Betten for such a bad experience. More
Had Left Fromt Caliper replaced on my 2003 2500HD Sierra Crew Cab. Within a Month it was acting up again. The Caliper Bracket was Bent and Damaged. They said I Hit something. I never did. It was a remanuf Crew Cab. Within a Month it was acting up again. The Caliper Bracket was Bent and Damaged. They said I Hit something. I never did. It was a remanufactured caliper. I believe it was bent from the get go. But they will not come clean and admit that. They would not honor the Warranty. I will not use this Dealership again or recommend them. More
