Thank you for taking my call this morning! Again, I want to apologize for the experience you received from us. It was not our intention to offer a vehicle that was not up to standards. As you know, that Blazer that you placed insurance on was all done without ever seeing it in person. You and Brad looked at it online where it was listed at another location but we were happy to get it here for you to make things more convenient. The pictures online displayed 1 photo of the wheels so we were just as surprised as you when we discovered the paint scuffs on the wheels. As a dealer group, we share inventory which is great for our guests but sometimes a vehicle arrives and it does not meant expectations. I am sorry this purchase did not work out and I truly apologize for the experience you received from us.

The reason why this is acceptable with your team is because this is the supervision they are under and what your business believes is acceptable. Here’s where the problem lies: 1. If the vehicle description and photos were accurate, this would have been known - therefor the description and photos are deceiving to the buyer. 2. If you as the dealer were surprised of the condition of the vehicle, you would have been more transparent about fixing it or speaking to the sister store about a good outcome for not only the buyer but also the seller. 3. It was disclosed in my texts that if the vehicle is accurately described along with accurate photos, then the deal was moving forward. It’s not on the dealership to tell the customer that it was convenient to bring the vehicle to your dealership when the buyer said if it’s not up to listed standards then don’t bother bringing it. So to even mention that is uncalled for. 4. In order to move along with financing the vehicle, insurance was needed. So I probably wouldn’t mention to a customer or the buyer that they inconvenienced themselves to put insurance on it when your sales person Brad also stated it is preferred to have insurance on the vehicle before purchasing which I sent him photo verification of. Your leadership speaks for itself as to why everything happened the way it did if this is your response.

Also, let’s not forget the fact that you specifically stated you were aware of the situation already when we spoke on the phone, yet never reached out to rectify it prior to today, see a “bad review” online and then it’s time to do “damage control”. That’s not how you run a business. On top of no solution to rectify the problem such as, let’s see what vehicle we can find to assist your needs, let’s see how we can make this right etc. You made no mention of any of that, just that it wasn’t your dealerships car and it was a sister stores. I’d like to speak to the person above you.
