Betley Finally Helping John M, never told or showed me that the Chev Colorado radio automatically goes on when the car is started. After purchasing the truck, John took us o John M, never told or showed me that the Chev Colorado radio automatically goes on when the car is started. After purchasing the truck, John took us outside to show us how to work the features on the dash. I turned on the truck, and went through everything, radio, phone, climate controls, 4w drive, instruments, etc. The radio is now turned off. I turn the truck off and then start it again, and the radio does not go on. I drive home, and the next morning when I start the truck the radio goes on all by itself. I check everything to be sure I'm doing this correct with the radio. This is where I find out about the 5 min turn off. If you turn off the truck and start it back up within 5 min the radio will not go on by itself, if it is after 5 min the radio will go on by itself. No one at Betley knew this and I had to school 3 dealers and a manager that this is happening. I took the dealers and we did 4 vehicles in their parking log. Chev Colorado was the only that did this if it had a 7" radio in it. Now after I prove this to all the dealers, because they wanted to see this, the manager tells me, this is how the Colorado is. Funny how no one said right at the beginning this is how it is Terry. I was with them for over 2 hours. I told them I don't want a truck where the radio goes on all by itself and I was told there was nothing I could do, because now with less then 500 miles I have a used truck. John Martinelli contacted me to inform me he found a very easy process to fix the radio going on. I went out to my truck and did what he instructed and the radio does not go on when I start the truck. So after 4 open case #'s ( which 2 were closed on the same day they were opened), which no one knew, the fix was to hit 2 buttons on the radio. I still don't understand how no one in the Betley dealership would take the time and work with me and figure this out, especially where I had only had a very simple am/fm radio. FYI, there is more to this. The radio volume keeps going up or down on it own. My truck is now back in the shop having this looked at again, and this is after the radio has been replaced once already. Did I mention I've only had the truck for 20 days. Received call truck is ready, they couldn't find a problem with the radio so they asked me to come pick up truck. I said isn't this a safety issue, which I was told the first time this happened, with my first radio? Apparently it's not a safety issue anymore and IF I DO ENCOUNTER a situation I'm to call them back. So I could be driving anywhere and this radio could go full volume, and scare the crap out of me. How is this safe? More

Run as fast as you can I bought a "Dealer Certified" used 2013 Malibu. A year later, the bottom portion, below the door falls out, and, come to find out the car had been in I bought a "Dealer Certified" used 2013 Malibu. A year later, the bottom portion, below the door falls out, and, come to find out the car had been in an accident, and the damage was covered up with bondo. Cost to repair over $2,000. There is no way they could not have known about the damage, and, sold us a bad car. Don't go to this dealership. There are so many good dealerships around. This dealership is the type you would go to in the 60's and gave dealerships a bad name. More
