He had answers to all of my questions on the spot. I did not feel pressured for a decision to buy, and was left to make my decision based on the test drive and information shared with me. Final price was broken down and explained to me. I felt confident with making my purchase. Nothing like the buyers remorse I had when I bought my previous car from another dealership. Thanks Oneal! Every other dealer played games with me with the trade in (we'll give you $200, no wait $300, no wait $500). Since I had bought from him before he knew I was a no nonsense buyer. I told him what price he had to beat for the car and trade in and he beat it. Much better experience than at the other dealerships. Highly recommend working with him. More

This was the closest dealer and crossed my fingers that they would even take me with no appointment. I called and spoke with Kyle. He was friendly and said to come right down. The rest of the experience was with Marlon George. He was very friendly and willing to help. He took me right in and came to me after an hour of troubleshooting and discussed the issues. His technical experience was limited but he was able to get the additional information I requested and we agreed on the scope and cost of the repair. Unfortunately they didn't have the part in stock and they were out of loaner cars. Without hesitation, Marlon arranged for an Enterprise rental car, so that I could get to my business meeting and also get home that night, over 150 miles away! Marlon called me that afternoon to let me know the status and he kept me updated on when the car would be ready 2 days later. Marlon even washed my car for me, HIMSELF. And he actually did a really good job. Overall I was very impressed with the entire experience. Most dealers won't accept a "walk-in" without a service appointment. These guys recognized that I had an emergency and was far from home, and took care of me professionally. Why not 5 stars? Upon inspection when I got home, the harness that plugs into the brake fluid reservoir was tucked out of the way and left disconnected. No lights indicating this as I am guessing it's a normally open connection when full so a low-level condition would allow the float to make contact and create an alarm. I took a photo and sent it to 2 trusted experts, each with over 20 years mechanical experience, and it took each of them a while to figure out that the harness wasn't plugged in. So I would guarantee that 99% of most customers would NEVER discover this themselves. This would mean a low brake fluid condition would not get any indication on the dash. I plugged it back in myself, no big deal, but it was missed. Everything else was great. I've been to MANY dealers with several brands, and this ranks high for Subaru dealers. Not the highest, but high. More

Why the manager because his emplo I am reluctant to write but, after my visit of 4.5 hours to Hartford Subaru I met Satan aka Chris the sales manager. Why the manager because his employee that I was trying to buy a car from was first made to start and fill with gas any car on the lot Chris felt like telling him to During my sale. This was Wednesday. I did pick out a car but I found out a few hours after I was supposed to pick the car up on Friday that the vehicle had such major problems I could not purchase it. "" Don't worry tho we have a car all picked out for you and it will be ready Monday. So you picked out my car and I am to come purchase it unseen undriven!! Sounds plausible. I arrived on Monday to pick up "my" used car. Wait not ready yet come back tomorrow. One thing after another. I was able to get the vehicle but I was told because I came in after a snow storm and because I chose a car in inventory that was not road worthy that this was my fault. I was given a vehicle that had the last occupants trash still in the cup holes and doors. Paul Kapij then walked me to the one tire that was forcibly replaced and said" look I got u all new tires"""!!! Guess what all the other 3 were cupped and dry rotted even had belts showing. This is how I met Satan the next day. He started by saying Paul must not like me. Then he promised the car to be cleaned also check idle and to rectified the tires. I was called back to view the same soda I purposely splashed on the window. Chris was very proud of himself and wanted to take me for a ride in the car his technical team refused to clean and make him look like a total liar. That's when I got the barrage of xxxxxxxx. This Manager talked about himself then explained the h-4 motor to me and how awesome it is and how lucky I am to have it!!! Yeah that cars motor is an f-4. I was also given vehicle 2,000.00 more than what my budget was. That didn't matter tho because I came in after a snow storm but it was actually 2 days but who's counting More
"Free Tires For Life"? Ha - don't be fooled I bought my 2013 Subaru Outback in December 2012 and was very excited about my new car and the “Free Tires For Life” program. Well here it is January I bought my 2013 Subaru Outback in December 2012 and was very excited about my new car and the “Free Tires For Life” program. Well here it is January 2017 and I have been denied my “Free Tires For Life”!! I have been jerked around by the service department for the past 3 oil changes, saying I still had too much tread. I drove the whole winter on tires with less than acceptable tread. I drive an hour to work each way and have 78,000. miles on the original tires. I have had all the services required at Bertera – just not timely enough according to them to qualify. When I bought my car I was told I needed to have my services done at Bertera, which I have and not one time did a service person mention that services had to be done at a certain time or I would not qualify for the tires. I even had unnecessary and costly services but I let them do them so I could get my tires. They are telling me the program is with an outside vendor and they have no control over the decision that was made… Really????? Bertera is the one offering and advertising this program – there are signs everywhere. I will never go back there for anything and would never recommend them to anyone!! More
