I recently had to make an emergency stop at another dealership for a nearly $600 repair because my Altima was running extremely rough. While diagnosing the problem they discovered that my engine oil had been significantly overfilled. Do you know where I last got my oil changed? Bertera. Overfilling the oil affects the oil pressure which controls the solenoid that failed. When I called Bertera to address this issue the service manager claimed that their mistake didn't damage the part. Even if the oil was not directly responsible, it is quite arguable that the strain it put on the system certainly played a part. Either way, he said that there was nothing he would do to fix this situation. With regards to the overfill, all I got was an "Oh, sorry we did that." Overfilled oil can cause increased wear on an engine so the silver lining is that I found out about it before a more catastrophic failure occurred because of Bertera's negligence. This was not the first time that they have made a mistake when servicing my car, so there is clearly a trend here. If you think that a lack of attention to detail and avoidance of responsibility are good characteristics for a dealership then Bertera is your place. I will never return here and I strongly urge you to avoid them too. More
Had an issue, situation totally fixed I bought a new Nissan last week I was told I would be called when my registration came in I was not called I had to call then I go yesterday to get my I bought a new Nissan last week I was told I would be called when my registration came in I was not called I had to call then I go yesterday to get my car inspected the service guy said the machine just went down how convenient that was then I go back this morning and was told my front plate was bad I didn't argue with the inspection guy I knew there wasn't nothing wrong with the plate because I used to do inspections myself but I went to the registry just so I could get prof that the plate wasn't bad and I wasn't going back to Bertera Nissan just to get into an argument and being told no so I had to go to another inspection station and pay again for an inspection which they also said nothing was wrong with the plate I'm very unhappy with Bertera Nissan. I would like to say Bertera Nissan has gone out of their way to fix this matter and I would like to thank all departments they really care about customers More
Rude service department We like our Altima but would NOT recommend the service department. I have to bring the car there all oil changes for tires for life. My husband has had to fight for the "points" they promise that will give discounts. We bring the car in the night before for a simple oil change yet it's never ready when promised and then Dennis in the service department is rude and unprofessional. The customer does not come first. They seem to care more about making a sale then good customer service after. More

Didn't even drive it off the lot and the drivers side mirror was broken by one of their sales team! Then they didn't get the right mirror in to fix it, so I couldn't get my sticker! The put some crappy mirror on just to pass inspection that I can't see out of. I complain and complain then they call say bring it down. And it's the wrong mirror, the next time the glass was broken. 5 months in I get a mirror!! When asked about a noise I'm told it will cost 2k to fix, no warranty on anything although I requested the extended warranty. When discussing with a manager was told "well, maybe it's time for a new vehicle" Are you kidding me? Seriously unhappy with all services from this place....... More
Horrible service department We had to have a tranny replaced for a vehicle bought at Bertera. They replaced it with a used transmission that didn't even last 7 months. They told us it wasn't the tranny it was 2 other pieces. The 2 pieces they were referring to were part of the transmission unit THEY replaced. We would have to pay $5200.00. They told us tough luck because we were over the 12k miles and sent us home with a car that could potentially explode. Great place!! Way to treat your customers! Never ever again will I step foot in that dealership and I will tell everyone who will listen what criminals Bertera Nissan employs. Shameful. More

I was informed by Bob in the service department that the transmission needed to be replaced. The whole situation was handled by Bob in the service area. He called me with an update everyday, he was beyond professional. I can not thank him enough for letting me know what was going on with my car. The car has been doing well because of the professional job that was done. The dealer that I purchased the car from was not in the least worried about me and my situation. Next time I purchase a car it will be with this dealership. Thanks a lot Bob for all you did. Sincerely Jim Kelley More

Vehicle went in for service under warrantee and they had the car for three weeks, never returned calls, lied about the replacement of the transmission, didn't arrange a loaner car, failed to fix the car in any way shape or form and then told me to come get it because they could not fix it. I had it towed to a Nissan dealership in NH and it took less that five minutes (LITERALLY!) for them to diagnose the issue as a transmission that had failed and are replacing it at no cost or bother--something Cliff and Dennis lied to me and stated that was already completed--yet no record of this exists in Nissan Corporate's records or in their own personal records which were given to me. Bottom line? The most incompetent group of people I have encountered in my 42 years. More
