Although the news was bad on my 2003 Chrysler, the blow was softened by the staff there. Steve tried hard to give us a better deal when the cost rose considerably past the original estimate, and I think i was softened by the staff there. Steve was given the flexibility to do a little adjusting on the repair price, and they seemed to genuinely feel badly that the car needed so much $$$ put in. Service was done today for the rear sliding door lock. After leaving the dealership, went to get an inspection and it failed due to the check engine light being on. Couldn't get the inspection today, they told me to drive the van around more then go back another day. (Affordable Glass). The service man at Bertera left grease on both front seats, inside doors, driver's side mat and floor trim. There was no grease inside this van as we just bought in on Thursday. Bad enough it didn't pass inspection due to work done but now grease to clean. They should have covered the floor and seats. I can't clean the mats myself and I shouldn't have to. They left me feeling like a slob. Waiting for a call for the windshield to be fixed. There's small chips on it. More

I was stranded on the road after the throttle system light on my 2005 Jeep Liberty Diesel began flashing on a trip from Belle Mead, N.J. to Brimfield, Mass. After calling a number of dealers who were e light on my 2005 Jeep Liberty Diesel began flashing on a trip from Belle Mead, N.J. to Brimfield, Mass. After calling a number of dealers who were either located too far from my location or were unable to assure me of their ability to repair the vehicle, I contacted Bertera in the Hartford area and was told to call their "sister" dealership in Springfield. I spoke with Kathy Bryan who assured me they were equipped to handle the problem and there were motels on the highway strip on which they were located. I had my vehicle towed to their location and on the following day I asked if they had a loaner car and Kathy told me that they could have Enterprise car rental pick me up and I would be charged at their cost $30 a day rate. I rented the car and went about my business and within a few hours Kathy called me with the "good news" that the car had been repaired. I am so grateful for this dealership's overall courteous and professional service, particularly the sensitive help from beginning to end from their service representative Kathy Bryan who made me feel as comfortable as possible in what can be the most disconcerting circumstance. More

I had a problem with my air conditioning system (blowing hot air). Called on a Friday, had appointment on following Monday. System thoroughly checked and leak discovered. Informed that necessary part was in stock and would take approx. four hours to repair. I was informed that my warranty covered the repair and a rental vehicle was available (also covered). I was shuttled to the rental agency and was soon home. Approx. 3hrs. later I was called and informed my vehicle was ready.Decided to pick up the vehicle the next day. Told it would be safe and secure. Glad to report fridgid air has returned. I'm 62 yrs. and have been leary of 'Big Dealerships'. Must say that at all times the personell I came in contact with were extremely professional, curtious with good senses of humor. Made me feel like I was dealing with a 'trusted' neighborhood garage. Bought my 2010 jeep from the dealership. Ended up walking out 3 different times before they finally worked with me on what the monthly payments should be at. Now I'm having warranty covered issues with the power train and their wonderful mechanics (been in twice so far) can't seem to figure it out and don't put anything on the service report. Horrible parking allocation there too. Btw I was told by the manager not to come back because I told him how bad his sales staff and service department are. So I need to find another dealership More
