November 14, 2011 Attention: Service Manager James Marinaccio Bertera Auto 539 Riverdale Street West Springfield MA 01089 Dear Mr. Marinaccio, I hope you can straighten out the following situation. On September 28 my son and I drove an hour to your service department because of its high ratings on the Internet. We dealt with Dave French, who diagnosed and then agreed that the navigation system of my son’s 2007 Compass needed to be replaced. Two weeks later we had not heard from Mr. French. It seems he doesn’t check his email, even though it is printed on the business card, and thus had not responded to our request for an update on whether the ordered parts had arrived. It turns out that the parts had arrived but we had not been contacted. When my son went to Springfield in October to have the navigation system replaced, Mr. French discovered that the part which had arrived two weeks before was incorrect and needed to be returned, thus making this trip a needless waste of time and gas. However, Mr. French convinced my son that he should nevertheless pay for and take the Mopar accessory we had also ordered to connect an MP3 player to the system. Given these circumstances, I was glad to see that we were charged $20 to affix license plates to the vehicle. We finally went to another Jeep dealer where the navigation system was replaced without incident. There we were told that the MP3 connector was also incorrect. I am returning it herewith, including the receipt. I expect to have full credit of $138 plus tax returned to the credit card which is on the receipt, or a check for that amount sent to me at the address below. Everyone was very friendly and patient!I drove home with a beautiful Rav4, this dealership worked with us with what WE wanted not what they wanted.. I had multiple phone calls from different people who didn't know I had already talked to someone!! They also called to confirm the car i was interested in was there..i made an appointment and when i drove the hour to get their my appointment wasn't written down and the car sold the day before! Even though they called me that morning!! So just call talk to Mike and let him take care of you!!!! You wont be disappointed. More

Although he was working with another customer when I went to Bertera, he greated me and immediately referred me to Darryl Wilson who helped me with my purchase. I did not think that I would be approved to trade in my previous vehicle and actually purchase a new one at this time. Not only did I get a new 2012 Chrysler 200, which I love very much, I was able to take it home the same day and it was Saturday afternoon when I arrived. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Even the individuals who were not helping me knew me by name and were also very friendly. Lastly, I went there with my requirements in regards to the payments that would be acceptable and affordable for me. Right away I was shown what vehicles that would work for me and was was extremely happy with the result. When I came into this dealership, I already knew the car I wanted, and had done the homework on the numbers. I had two cars to trade in and wanted.a fair value for them. I was told that they would be Ble to get the exact car I wanted, which they did. I was given a fair price for my trades and felt the end deal was OK. I thi k I may have made out better if the car had already been on their lot. Not many people shop for a convertible in December in New England. The salesman was friendly, not at all pushy, and willing to deal. Time and time again I hear from the dealerships in my area that they want to keep our business local, and they just do not deal! I have had the opportunity to shop in years past with my husband, who was an excellent car shopper. This is the second car we have purchased from Berterra, and I would not hesitate to return. The hour and a half ride was well worth the value and service that I received. Igor was more than helpful, and able to get the exact car that I had been looking for! Igor listened to exactly what I was looking for and although they did not have the particular vehicle in stock, he did not try to sell me something I didn't want and instead advised me to factory order my new vehicle. Igor kept me posted throughout the transaction and if promised he'd call me by a certain time of the day, he always came through with his word. Once my vehicle was delivered to the dealership, Igor had me come in and meet with Cynthia Hester who handled the financing. She was very professional and was able to get me a great deal. She was very thorough in going over all of the paperwork and made sure I understood how everything worked (warranties, payments etc..) These 2 professionals exceeded my expectations as I've had negative experiences in the past with other dealerships. I would highly recommend everyone I know who is interested in working with this team. This is the car that I've wanted for quite a while and they assisted in making my dream come true!
