Somewhat disappointed in the fact that the dealership did not have a tire in inventory and I had to return at 5 PM. I was not aware of a $50 Shop Charge for Repair Order. if I could give less than 1 star, I would. I have Been speaking to the dealership for almost two weeks on a used Lexus. I’m an Army officer and stationed in NC. I took Leave to travel to the dealer, have the car inspected and purchase. After I bought The ticket, the Dealer told me I couldnt Take the vehicle to Lexus for the inspection. I flew All the way down thinking I’d just get a mobile mechanic to look at it. Then I was Told that if I didnt finance the car with them, I would Not be able to drive the car off the lot. I asked To speak with the Used Car Manager, but Bobby Haines, the GM spoke to me. He told me that even though my loan is through USAA, a bank they regularly use, I would need an actual check or I’d have to wait approx 3 business days to take delivery of the car. I asked If this is a policy that’s written and he said no but he’s the GM and that what he’s telling me. At this point, I’m feeling discriminated against and felling that my service to this country is worthless. I would not recommend anyone buying from them. To ask a service member that traveled hundreds of miles to come back to pick up a vehicle because I dont Want to use their financing is ridiculous. More
