My wife and I purchased our Honda at Bernardi Honda in the beginning of the year. On this past Thursday the Honda was due for its first service. When I dropped the car off I was met in the service lane by the beginning of the year. On this past Thursday the Honda was due for its first service. When I dropped the car off I was met in the service lane by a valet and Matt Carney. Matt was the person that wrote up the work order. Since I was waiting at the dealership while the car was being worked on Matt walked me to a room where I could get coffee and a muffin. He then showed me the customer work center where I was able to connect my laptop and have use of a phone. One suggestion I have is Bernardi's wireless could be a bit faster. Not a big deal but I figured I would suggest that to them. About 20 minutes later a woman came by the customer work center and asked if I needed more coffee or water. She also asked if she could check on how my car was doing. I don't remember her name. When the service was finished Matt came out to get me and explained all the work that was performed. The car is brand new and of course he said that everything checked out OK. He walked me to the cashier and after I paid for the work and my car was waiting for me in the service lane. The valet took out the paperliners that were on the floor and I was off. Bernardi Honda did a great job. More
I live closer to Herb Chamber Honda in Westboro, MA. I went to Herb Chambers first but they lie to me about having the car and on the price. I went to Bernardi Honda and met with Janet. She took the time went to Herb Chambers first but they lie to me about having the car and on the price. I went to Bernardi Honda and met with Janet. She took the time to show me the car (which they had in stock). Janet is very honest. Car sales people think that woman buyers are not smart. BIG MISTAKE! At Bernardi Honda they give you all the information you need. I met with the manager Tim. He took the time to show me the difference in pricing and compared to leasing and buying. Janet showed me the service department too. I don't mind paying Bernardi Honda a little more for the car because they are honest. Honda is a great car and Bernardi Honda is the best dealer. More
I called the repair shop because of a problem from the front on my car. When I drive of 50 mph the entire car shakes. Bernardi Honda was able to see me the day I called. A closer dealer told me it would b front on my car. When I drive of 50 mph the entire car shakes. Bernardi Honda was able to see me the day I called. A closer dealer told me it would be next week before I could bring my car in to them. Bernardi fixed my car and the repair cost were under $90 dollars. I am now a customer for Bernardi Honda. I would recommend them highly. They are honest and do great work. More
On March 29 2008 I went to a big name dealer on route 1 to buy a Honda. First I was told since I can't give them a check by Monday I would have to finance with them if I wanted a good deal. Second on Monda to buy a Honda. First I was told since I can't give them a check by Monday I would have to finance with them if I wanted a good deal. Second on Monday 3-31-08 I was told I missed the sale that all 200 Honda were gone and this was now the new price. While this was going on a announcement came on the PA and stated we met our goal for March. Everybody was cheering. April 2, I went to Bernardi on route 9. What a difference just walking into the place. First I was greeted with a handshake and can I help you. Not take it or leave it, finance with us or else, sorry you missed the deal. Joe Donnell actually listened to me to see what I wanted. The rest is history I met Scott worked out a deal and now I'm driving my Honda CRV. Great job guys!!! PS I drove 20 miles out of my way just not to give my busines to BOCH. More
Interactions with Jay, the salesperson, were great. He was friendly, and he knew his inventory and vehicle specs well. It was an enjoyable and helpful test drive, with the opportunity to take the car ont was friendly, and he knew his inventory and vehicle specs well. It was an enjoyable and helpful test drive, with the opportunity to take the car onto Route 9 to see how it handled on the highway. When it came time to make the sale, the sales manager stepped in. Initial interactions were good. The price was reasonable, with numbers similar to what I had been quoted at other dealerships. $16K + destination charge + taxes/title/paperwork on a 2008 Civic LX. Then the games started. After agreeing on a price, I told them that I planned to pya cash. It was now 5pm, and the sales manager starting feeding me a bunch of crap about how I'd have to finance the car. He claims that the dealership wouldn't accept either my credit card or a personal check; it was now too late in the day to get money wired directly from my account or get a bank check; and how he couldn't promise this price if we didn't get the deal done today. When I called other dealerships, they confirmed that they could indeed take a personal check. In fact, I had used a personal check to pay for my last car a few years ago. When I confronted him with this information, he backed down. Next came the hassle with getting the financing paperwork done. Their computer systems were reportedly down, so I had to return another day to complete that. Since we were paying cash for the vehicle, the paperwork in the finance office was rather perfunctory when we returned 2 days later, without major hassles. I spoke w/ the salesperson that day to arrange to return on Monday morning to pick up my registration and get the vehicle inspected. When I returned Monday morning, I was told that the computers were again down, so that my registration (and thus inspection) could not be completed. While I understand that it is not the fault of the individual sales person that the computers were repeatedly down, it is the responsibility of the dealership. Clearly, they need better IT support if their computers are down this frequently. I have better things to do with my time than go back and forth to the dealership. More
Because of the Bernardi Auto Group reputation of being professional and extremely good at Customer Relations, my decision to go to their Honda Dealership to explore the Honda CR-V. In addition, I received professional and extremely good at Customer Relations, my decision to go to their Honda Dealership to explore the Honda CR-V. In addition, I received a internet quote on my 2007 CR-V that clearly beat all other dealerships. Once arriving at the dealership we were met by a friendly staff and I might add, not exhibiting a pressure sales approach. After a few hours of going through colors etc.,ouur decision buying the the CR-V was accomplished. The Sale Staff including all of the Managers were terrific. Just recently I attended a New Owners Workshop which was informative and quite frankly absolutely amazed that a Car Dealership would offer such a thing to their customers. I have never seen this before. Bernardi Honda should be used as a benchmark for other dealers to mold their operation. I am very pleased with everything they have done! More
My sales person was Janet. I went to Bernardi looking for a used car. I drive a 1999 Honda Civic. Janet showed me a used 2006 honda accord. I liked the used car and Janet showed me a new accord. 2008 accords a used car. I drive a 1999 Honda Civic. Janet showed me a used 2006 honda accord. I liked the used car and Janet showed me a new accord. 2008 accords are nice. Janet went and talked with her boss I ended up getting a new car for a few more dollars a month. Maybe I could have gotten a better price who knows. I have had service done before at Bernardi and this is why I went back to them. The dealership is close to where I work. I live closer to another honda place but I read the postings of the other dealer and went to bernardi honda. The only bad thing I can say about Bernardi is finding a place to park. More

No pressure sales. I mentioned to the sales person, we were still comparing Honda Odyssey vs Chrysler Van vs Toyota Sienna and would make a decision may 2 weeks out. Did research on pricing, returned and were still comparing Honda Odyssey vs Chrysler Van vs Toyota Sienna and would make a decision may 2 weeks out. Did research on pricing, returned and spoke the same salesperson with my best offer(compared info from other dealer and website ahead of the visit). The deal was done in 30 minutes, excellent after sales support. More
We bought a new Honda Accord from Bernardi Honda after going to two other dealers. The other dealers did not care about anything but selling us a car. Bernardi Honda answered all our questions and did not going to two other dealers. The other dealers did not care about anything but selling us a car. Bernardi Honda answered all our questions and did not pressure us. I don't understand why cars dealers do this. Bernardi Honda treats you great. All I can add is I'm glad we went there. I wish they sold Fords because I need to replace my pickup truck soon. More
