I wanted to make readers aware of my recent experience with Bernardi Honda. Two years ago, I signed into a 3-year lease agreement for a 2008 Honda Accord LX. My sales person was Dennis and my experience with Bernardi Honda. Two years ago, I signed into a 3-year lease agreement for a 2008 Honda Accord LX. My sales person was Dennis and my experience was fairly smooth requiring a couple of visits to the dealer and about 5-6 hours of negotiating and paper work. After two years of driving the 2008 Accord, I decided I was interested in trading it in a year early and go with the 2010 Accord EX Coupe in a manual shift. This time my sales person was Kevin McCarthy and needless to say, my transaction was not so smooth. I ended up reaching an agreement and signed the paper work. I was informed the new car would be ready for me to pick up in a week. A week went by and I heard nothing from Kevin nor the Sales Manager. Finally, another week later, I called and spoke to Kevin to find out when I could pick up my car. It was at that point I was told that specific car could not be found and I canceled the deal never having received a phone call informing me of this. There was absolutely no sympathy or remorse on the part of my dealer nor sales manager. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. I decided to hold onto to my 2008 Accord a bit longer until a friend of mine recommended the 2010 Honda Civic SI. I went in to get my brakes fixed for the SECOND time in two years since owning the 2008 Accord. I found out there was a class action lawsuit against Honda for faulty rear brake pads and I could get money back for the repair but only up to $150 after paying about $400 for the brake job. Bernardi was asking for $600 to fix the rotors and the brake pads for the second time. This was something I could not afford so I decided to look at the Honda Civic SI. The one on the lot happened to have Satellite GPS. We worked out the rates and I put down a deposit of $250 to hold the vehicle until my cosigner could come in and sign the paperwork. Kevin informed me I would receive this deposit back and NEVER mentioned it was ONLY if I decided to take the car. Well, I had the weekend to think about the deal and realized the monthly cost was just too high and I wanted to cancel the deal. After making about 4-5 phone calls and leaving several voice mails to try and get my $250 deposit back, I had to drive there, finally speaking to Tim who informed that my deposit was non-refundable because apparently I initialed some fine print on my paperwork regardless of the verbal agreement to refund my money. Having to control myself from losing my temper, I decided to discuss rates with Tim for the 2010 Civic SI without the navigation in the Black color. We came to a price affordable to me and I was told it would be available to pick up that Saturday. My experience seemed to take a positive turn until I received a call from Kevin the next day stating the car would not be ready until Monday. At this point, the rotor and brake pads were just about worn to the ground on my current vehicle and had been grinding for several weeks now to the point where I was afraid to drive it to work. It was imperative I get into a new car as soon as possible. So Monday comes and of course I had to call the dealership and spoke to Kevin to find out the wrong car had been swapped and the color of the car was gray, not black like we agreed. Unfortunately, given my circumstance I agreed to lease the car with my second color choice. My experience with Bernardi has been both frustrating and disappointing to say the least. More
This is the second car we have purchased from Bernardi Honda and Mohammud Ali in the past 8 months. Mohammud took the time to listen to our objectives and concerns and was able to provide his insight without being pushy or high pressur. We will be in thr market for another car in the coming months and will not hesitate to go back to Mohammud at that time. More

Our sales person, Mo, was very helpful. We got to look at several cars I had seen online, discuss the various differences in features, and take a test drive. The whole experience was handled well from initial looking at the cars to finshing the paperwork. We would recommend Bernardi Honda to anyone. More

I had an excellent experience. John Dwyer gave my wife and I all the cool features of our new van. For every concern he had an answer. Jason Aufierio made my wife, and 2 kids feel at home. My experience at Bernardi Honda was excellent because the customer service was excellent and Mo was sensitive to my needs and explained everything I needed to know. Bernardi Honda is a great dealership in every single way! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and their patience is over the top. My parents do not speak English and he took the time to explain everything to me and then let me translate it, but he also found someone who could speak Spanish to make my parents feel comfortable. In the finance department JC did an awesome job and I finally got approved! I recommend this dealership without a doubt. I only have good things to say and if they treat everybody the way they treated me and continue with the good work, I am sure they will get the President's Award again! I am a no-nonsense customer. I did my online research, received three quotes and visited 4 dealerships before purchasing. I had my checkbook and was prepared to pay cash. I was not interested in a best friend or a "meet and greet" with four or five managers. I had chosen a 2010 base-model Honda Fit automatic. I had 3 acceptable color choices. I arrived at Bernardi Honda with a print out of their fair internet quote ($800 - $2,000 below the other area dealearships). I called ahead to make sure I could test drive the actual car I wanted to buy. When I arrived, Steve Dionis, the salesman, was polite and well-informed. He had the car I requested ready for a test drive. He was able to cut the entire deal and did not waste my time trying to "sell me up". In an embarrassing turn of events, I could not locate the title to my old car. This situation was not used as a point of advantage at the end of the negotiation and the dealership had an acceptable procedure for dealing with the snag. It is remarkably simple. Bernardi Honda had the promised car on the lot, offered me a fair price and a decent trade-in and treated me with genuine respect. More
