I met Eric Sussman several months ago when I first visited Bernardi Honda. At that time I test drove a 2010 Accord. However, I wanted to purchase a 2011 Accord. Eric is an excellent communicator. He s visited Bernardi Honda. At that time I test drove a 2010 Accord. However, I wanted to purchase a 2011 Accord. Eric is an excellent communicator. He stayed in contact with me, providing 2011 Accord literature/information as it became available, and, when I had questions, responded to me in a timely manner. When the time was right I made an appointment to meet with Eric, as opposed to any other salesperson. He is a significant reason why I returned to Bernardi Honda. If my first experience with him had not been a good one, I would not have requested to meet with him again. He responded to all of my requests, questions and concerns in a knowledgeable, yet friendly manner. Eric facilitated the process involved with the purchase of my new Accord. He is very detail oriented and insured that all of the necessary paperwork, etc. was well taken care of. He also made us comfortable with all of the technology on the new car, as well as the rest of the workings of the vehicle, before we drove away. If, in the near future, I were to return to Bernardi Honda to purchase a second Honda I would purchase it through Eric. Furthermore I would not hesitate to recommend him to others interested in purchasing a Honda vehicle. More
This is my fifth lease, but the first time I've returned to a dealership for a second car; which speaks not only to the Honda product, but also to the staff at Bernardi Honda. Both times I've worked with Mu to a dealership for a second car; which speaks not only to the Honda product, but also to the staff at Bernardi Honda. Both times I've worked with Muhammad Ali and he has not disappointed. I feel that I can get accurate, honest information from him and that makes all the difference when purchasing a car. More
The dealership itself is very nice & clean and conveniently located on Rt 9. Dennis was helpful in that it seemed he was more interested in answering questions than in selling a car. I was looking for a new car, and with the economy the way it is I wasnt sure where my next check was coming from due to my freelancing and explained I wanted a FIT but wouldnt be able to. I told him I will see him in two years to get my FIT, I love the civic so may have second thoughts for all I know. More

Sales manager Scott Wells recognized us at the show room, greeted and recommended Muhammad Ali (Sr. Sales Consultant). Muhammad was excellent and patient as we decided on our car purchase. It was a big decision and Muhammad walked us through our options and choices. He also made extra efforts to ensure we only needed to return to the showroom once. My 2005 Honda Accord has been great, but was high in mileage and I didn't feel safe anymore because it needed a lot of maintenance work and I would feel much safer in a newer car. I called down to Bernardi Honda and asked the receptionist for a sales person, but couldn't seem to get anyone on the phone. (I understand you guys are real busy!) After getting transfered back to the operator again, I was transfered to the manager of finance who then transfered me to the other finance person, Dave Rosenthal. I explained my situation and David was very upbeat sounding and listened to me. After a few calls back and forth to Dave I was on my way. When I got to Bernardi Honda Dave had Peter show me a brand new Accord EXL, I loved the car but when I saw the payments I knew that I could not possibly afford them. Peter then tried talking me into a cheaper car, then a lease, but I was not about to compromise! I wanted leather, and I wanted a sunroof, and I was not about to get another LX Accord, I was not going to lease a car either as I drive too many miles. I was about to go on my way when Dave stopped me and sat me down to talk with him. He had peter pull up a used BMW, I asked Dave how much this would cost me, he told me to drive the car first to make sure I like it. Well I didn't like it! I loved it, but was unsure about the payments. I had always wanted a BMW, but could never afford one! As a single mom who works full time I can not afford a huge car payment! So Dave brought me to his office and within a few minutes I was buying my first BMW! Dave is very knowledgeable and explained to me all about optional coverage which I thought was a great idea, and what it would do and not do, plus he was able to work out the financing for me, So I'm Happy as can be! After an extremely unpleasant sales experience last night and after I had spoken to Mr. Joel Richards, the GM, we returned to Bernardi today. Mr. Richards was very responsive to my disdainful replay of what had occurred. Combined with his empathetic response, our excellent experience in July when we made our first purchase, and that we had a great deal offered, we decided to give the dealership an opportunity to make amends. We are all glad that we returned. Mr. Richards personally came over when we arrived and ensured that our new salesperson, Jamal, would take care of us. Jamal was a gentleman, very personable and knowledgeable, and he had a sense of humor that he used to bring equilibrium to what could have been an extremely uncomfortable situation. We were given an EXCELLENT deal and we appreciated it. Christina and Sasha were also very pleasant to work with. Despite the fact that it all ended very well, in all honesty, we cannot give a 5 rating across the board considering how the whole situation began - often times only one chance is given to make the right impression. Certainly during the second opportunity, Mr. Richards, Jamal, Christina and Sasha deserve a 5 rating. Ultimately, our son loves his 2011 Honda Accord, we hope to continue a smooth long-term relationship as we now own 3 Hondas. However, in the future, we will certainly be more conscious of picking the right sales person. More
Needed a new car and had my heart set on a Honda Fit. Saw it for the first time here, and took one for a test drive. I was hoping for a 2010 Fit Sport with Navigation, specifically for the stability and traction control. Given that this was September and the model year was coming to a close, Bernardi gave me a quote, but did not have such a vehicle in stock, and told me that if I was to have a vehicle brought in it would incur an additional $500 charge. Rather than pay this, I reluctantly had to decide to shop around. I wish to emphasize that if they had the vehicle in stock, I would have seriously considered purchasing from Bernardi, as they made a very competitive offer, and the staff was very friendly to boot. Maybe next time my family is car shopping, I'll plan my timing more appropriately! More
