I spent several weeks on cars.com and auto trader trying to find the right car. We finally found a used Toyota Corolla at Bernardi Honda in Natick. Randomly walked in with my 2 1/2 year old about half an hour before the dealership was closing (my bad). We struck a deal within about 15 minutes (after a test drive), Muhammad Ali stayed after the dealership closed just to get the deal done. The guy went above and beyond, got me a fair price, great car, etc. etc. I am not a Honda person but would consider buying one just because of the level of service these guys provide. Count me as a HUGE fan of this dealership. Although my sales person was amazing, i was shooting the breeze with some of the other sales guys, and the work culture here is VERY different from a Boch or one of the other big dealerships. I'd consider buying a Honda just because of this dealership. Thanks again Muhammad, you're doing an amazing job. More
My experience here was so great as a first time car buyer! Muhammed Ali was so good to me and really made sure that I was happy! You can tell he really cares about his customers. I went into Bernardi knowing what I wanted and figured it would be a simple task of getting the best price I could. Given the fact that Bernardi is rated pretty low on this website makes me realize I should would be a simple task of getting the best price I could. Given the fact that Bernardi is rated pretty low on this website makes me realize I should have done my research on the dealership as well as the car. I found them to be combative and argumentative throughout the entire process. After spending half an hour with a young salesman they gave me what they called "their best price". They claimed that there were no circumstances under which they could do better. Throughout the entire process I was hurried into making a commitment on the car and was told that I would have to put down a deposit of $424.75 to "save that price". I then found the SAME CAR for MUCH LESS at another Honda dealership. When I called back(within 24 hrs of my original visit) to inform them of my decision and to get back my deposit they told me the deposit was non-refundable. At which point they tried to turn the sale around at the higher price. They are holding my money hostage in order to force me to buy a car from them. The $424.75 was supposed to be for the following fees: Plates & Registration, Title Preperation & Documentation Preperation. None of which were necessary since I didn't buy a car from them. This means they are holding my money out of spite since they realize they can't strong arm me into giving them business. When I called in to discuss my displeasure I found management to be equally frustrating and even saying that I had my chance to do business with them and blew it. That seems like a great attitude. When I asked him what Bernardi had done to earn my $424.75 he didn't have an answer. His only response was to make another attempt at forcing the car on me after I had told him repeatedly that I would not be buying it from them. What it basically comes down to is this: I found the same car at a MUCH better price at another dealership. If for no other reason than that, you should drive past Bernardi while car shopping. There are plenty of other options and based on other reviews I have read I am not the only one who has been treated like this. The customer service ranges from overly aggresive to insulting and pompous. In an industry with an already ungly reputation, the staff at Bernardi doesn nothing but perpetuate the negatives. More

The customer service was excellent, it far exceeded my previous experiences with car dealerships. All my questions and/or concerns were answered immediately. I felt comfortable with the sales team and trusted them. They followed through in a timely manner with any of my questions and concerns. They made the process of trading my lease in and purchasing a used car a smooth transaction. They were readily available, friendly, and knowledgeable. They easily answered all my question and prepared my vehicle to its best shape before I drove it off the lot. After my purchase, they followed up and checked in to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Overall, I had a great experience in all aspects of my car purchase. It was easy, stress free, and I felt valued. I would recommend buying a new or used car from this dealership to anyone. More
This is my second experience purchasing a used Accord from Bernardi (see 4/29/10 review). I contacted Alex Yanovsky in Sales a few weeks ago to let him know I was in the market for a used Honda under $9 from Bernardi (see 4/29/10 review). I contacted Alex Yanovsky in Sales a few weeks ago to let him know I was in the market for a used Honda under $9K, high mileage acceptable. I trusted Alex as he sold me a pre-owned Accord last year. Alex kept an eye out for cars being turned in, and sure enough, he found a well-maintained, one owner 2001 Accord EX with lower than expected mileage - the car was in mint condition! He called me immediately, and we completed the transaction within one day with minimal hassle and a reasonable price (closer to NADA than KBB). He also inspected the car after it went through the maintenance shop safety checks (all brakes replaced - no cost to me) to ensure the minor repairs (trunk lid latch)I had asked for were taken care of. I generally don't trust used car dealerships, but clearly my experience at Bernardi has changed my opinion. I'll also add that other personnel were very friendly when I was looking for Alex, and they helped locate him. I'll definitely return to Bernardi Honda when I need an additional vehicle. Mr. Lower provided excellent information to me as I shopped for a new car. Although I knew that I wanted to purchase a Honda, Mr. Lower was extremely helpful and helped me select the right car for my n shopped for a new car. I have bought all 4 of the hondas I have owned in my driving lifetime at Bernardi, and I will continue to do business with them for years to come. I will continue to refer family and friends and my daughter will soon be buying her first car/honda at Bernardi Amanda in the service department is very kind and knowledgeable, she answered all my questions and was sensitive to my needs as a service customer, she was friendly and helpful. Amir in the sales dept is why transacted business with the sales dept, he too was sensitive to my needs, offering me a valid option to lease a vehicle with the option to buy at the end of the lease, thus making my payments affordable. Ease of transaction. The price was fair. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price quote we recieved from the internet was honored.
