This was my second buy from this dealership. I bought a CRV the first time and this time a Honda Odyssey. Matt Quelch is my salesman and he is AWESOME! He actually asked me what I wanted! Then he listene CRV the first time and this time a Honda Odyssey. Matt Quelch is my salesman and he is AWESOME! He actually asked me what I wanted! Then he listened! Then he went out and came back with the great vehicle! He is very personable and honest. I got a very fair deal! Before I found Bernardi Honda I always felt like I was getting screwed. He laid out the cost on the sheet and pointed out every number. Far different from other dealerships! Then, when the certified preowned vehicle had a problem (my first one never had a problem) he was right there! He moved heaven and earth on a Saturday night to get me into a rental vehicle even though the Enterprise department (conveniently located in the service dept) was closed. Even the Sales manager couldn't do that! Not only that but I have Matt's personal cell phone number (which he gave me when I bought the car - in case I had questions). Matt reminded me that I had it and told me to call him if I needed anything else - Matt's your man! "Bernardi for now, Bernardi for life" - that's their slogan and I thought it was kind of hokey! I now believe it! More
Came from out of state and came with a certified bank check which was comming right out of my checking account. The dealership would not allow me to pick up the car until the check got cleared which took check which was comming right out of my checking account. The dealership would not allow me to pick up the car until the check got cleared which took two weeks. It took another two weeks for the salesmen to drive the car to the nh boarder. Mark would only do it on when it was convenient for him. The dealership said they where going to paint and fix the front bumper and when It got delivered the bumper had not been fixed. I called the dealership and asked to speak with the manager and they kept having mark call me when I asked to speak with a manager. If your comming down out of state avoid this dealership. Horrible experienence and I expected better from reading all the great reviews. More
Usually buying a car is a stressfull experience. Denis (Sales) in Sales was very accomodating and helpful in selecting the right car. He went over and above to assist me with no pressure. Finalized the de (Sales) in Sales was very accomodating and helpful in selecting the right car. He went over and above to assist me with no pressure. Finalized the deal with Jason (Sales Manager) and he, also, went over and above to find a way for me to purchase this car. I did buy the car at a price that was fair and reasonable. I finally met with the Business Manger, Gregg, to do the financial part of the deal. Again, Gregg was helpfull and accomdating. Had a great experience today. Thanks to Denis, Jason and Gregg. More
I received an internet ad from Bernardi at 5 PM on Thursday before Presidents' Day weekend, proclaiming that (among other too-good-to-be-true deals) Honda Accords would be sold for $16,999. After read Thursday before Presidents' Day weekend, proclaiming that (among other too-good-to-be-true deals) Honda Accords would be sold for $16,999. After reading the fine print, I discovered that there was a disclaimer that special coupons would be used, but were limited in quantity. I immediately called the dealership and asked the sales rep with whom I was connected if 1) The deal was legit, because my wife and I didn't want to take a day off work to drive 45 minutes if it weren't true. and 2) Were there actually any of these "special coupons" and, if so, did we need to drive over Thursday evening, or would they be available the following (Friday) morning? I was assured by the salesman that the deal was indeed valid and not just a way to get us in and that there were plenty of coupons and if we arrived Friday morning, they would be available. We were at the dealership when they opened. My first clue that there was trouble was when two separate salesmen had no idea whatsoever what advertisement and special deal I was referring to. We indicated that we wanted to purchase the car at the advertised price and our salesman immediately started suggesting that, despite the fact he knew nothing about the special offer and coupons, he was sure they were out of them. Upon "checking", our sales rep returned, claiming that there wasn't a single coupon left and that after I had called at 5 PM the previous day, they "sold twenty cars" between 5 PM and 9 PM on a Thursday evening and used all the coupons. I expressed my dissatisfaction at having been misled and our salesman disappeared for about 10 minutes, eventually returning with the "Sales Manager" (I think his name was Bill), in tow. Bill offered a different story, claiming that they had sold 10 cars (not 20) and that he still had these "special coupons" valued at $400 remaining, but they would not honor the price that they had advertised for the weekend. Bernardi flat-out refused to honor their advertised price and, more importantly, the personal guarantee I received that the price would be honored if I arrived on Friday morning. Nobody offered any alternatives, nor did anyone ask if there was something else they could do to make a deal. It was obvious they were more than happy to let us walk. Note: My wife's colleague was on her way to meet us at Bernardi to buy her own Accord. We were planning on driving our new cars to go out to lunch afterwards. We called her to advise her it was a scam. We bought our new Honda Accord at Kelly Honda where we were treated with respect and where we weren't lied to. Our friend was so turned off with Honda, she refused to buy at any Honda dealer and is driving her new Ford Focus this week. My wife received a call the next day from someone claiming to be the General Manager of Bernardi and who claimed he would call later that day to discuss this matter with me. He never called. Conclusion: S-C-A-M . We intend to contact the State Attorney General's office and the Middlesex County District Attorney and ask for an investigation into deceptive advertising practices. More
Kyle Krebs, my salesman was very polite, courteous, and most of all patient. He helped me work through all the details to successfully complete the purchase and sale of my used 2009 Honda Accord EX-L. I ha most of all patient. He helped me work through all the details to successfully complete the purchase and sale of my used 2009 Honda Accord EX-L. I have been looking to buy a car for over a year, and have visited several car dealerships. The friendliness of the staff that I worked with kept me comIng back until I found the right car for me. Unlike the other places that I looked, Kyle understood that I was looking for a specific car and was not interested in any other style or type of vehicle. When I did buy the car I I wanted, I had pointed out some minor detail work that I asked to have taken care of on the car, and they were very happy to address my concerns. All my requests were taken care of to my satisfaction within one business day. They also gave me a ride back to work when I dropped off my car, and picked me back up after the repairs were completed. Buying a car can be very stressful and time consuming. Kyle was very professional and I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. More
I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Seth Marshall of your Natick branch. After purchasing a 2009 CX9 from your dealership in late 2011 I quickly became aware of radio reception prob to Seth Marshall of your Natick branch. After purchasing a 2009 CX9 from your dealership in late 2011 I quickly became aware of radio reception problems in the vehicle. Let’s put it this way, when you only receive only two radio stations and are forced to listen to The Starlight Vocal Band, it quickly becomes apparent that there is a problem. I brought the vehicle back to the dealership and was greeted with a warm and friendly staff that made me feel that my problem was an easy one to fix and that they would have me back on the road in no time. I was provided a loaner car to use to get to work at no cost to me while my car was being serviced. Later that evening I went to pick up the car and was told that there were some issues with a third-party installation of a GPS, device and to go see the service manager – Seth Marshall. Seth greeted me warmly and expressed his concern over the issue and told me that he was going to have someone review the installation to see if there was anything further they could do to resolve the issue. Too many times when you purchase a used car there is always a gut feeling you get when you think you may have bought a “lemon”. Seth made me feel very comfortable by telling me he knew someone who specialized in these types of installations and to not worry about it. A few days later I was asked to bring my car in again to have the specialist look at the installation; again, I was provided a loaner car which was excellent because I did not have to cancel a meeting I had originally planned to cancel in light of what was happening. Seth continued to pursue the problem and updated me frequently. I was extremely shocked that I was getting such great service from such a large dealership; he must have been dealing with hundreds of people and he always made me feel like I was the only one. It was something I have experienced only a few times in my life when dealing with car dealers. Later that evening I picked my car only to discover that the issue still was not resolved. I called Seth, who somehow always seemed to be available. He asked me to bring the car to the location that did the work and to try and replicate the problem for them. I agreed and drove to the facility myself. Seth provided, contact information, address, and driving directions to me so I would have no problem finding the place. Earlier that day I received a call from a gentleman named Keith from Micorp who explained what they were going to do once I got there and that they had an idea of what could be causing the issue now that I had provided them a few more small details. After 20 minutes they were able to completely resolve the issue and I am now the proud owner of a CX9 with a great working radio and a member of the Bernardi family. I trust that Seth and his team will do whatever it takes to make sure I am happy with my choice of Bernardi. I plan to take my vehicle to Bernardi for servicing – even though it is a Mazda because I know I will be taken care of. Additionally, my wife will be in the market for a used car in 2012 and I am certainly planning to introduce her to the Bernardi family. Great communication, tenacity, perseverance, accountability, and the ability to instill trust are all great assets to possess as a service manager. With Seth Marshall, you get them all. He is a great asset to your organization and someone who has restored my faith in the auto service industry. More
Despite posting of a bad experience and trying to speak to a manager, I have gotten nowhere with Bernardi. In fact, they called my wife again (4 months later) with the same b.s. pitch about someone "intere to a manager, I have gotten nowhere with Bernardi. In fact, they called my wife again (4 months later) with the same b.s. pitch about someone "interested in buying our used 2004 Accord". Total b.s. sales pitch, which we fell for before (unfortunately). Last time when we fell for it, we dragged our 3 month old in to Bernardi, ready to make a deal. But this time, we told them to get lost, and we weren't falling for their scam again. Asked them to take us off their list... see my previous review on Bernardi for full details. It's too bad because we had previously had positive experiences with Bernardi and hadn't even considered looking for a new vehicle elsewhere. However, we now feel no attachment to Bernardi due to their sleazy sales tactics. More
We purchased a pre-owned Toyota Rav4 recently and had an excellent experience with Matt. We came a couple times for a test drive and he was perfectly patient with us as we shopped around at other dealership excellent experience with Matt. We came a couple times for a test drive and he was perfectly patient with us as we shopped around at other dealerships, but he applied the appropriate amount of follow-up. He was so friendly, unpressuring and yet persistence without being a nuisance. We made a deal we were happy with, and he stayed several hours later than his shift on the delivery date to see us through to the end. The car was in better condition than others we saw at competitors', they gave us a full tank of gas which we discovered at other places is surprisingly uncustomary, but there were a few very noticable scratches and scuffs on the exterior which they said they usually clean up before showing their cars, and hadn't been able to yet so that was worked into the deal to get them fixed on a "We Owe". Unfortunately that's where this dealership (not Matt) gets the Bad rating for quality of work. We dropped the Rav4 off with service, told them they had up to a week to get the "we owe" work done if needed, since we were taking a trip but if it was done sooner we'd have someone pick it up. We got no calls when it was done, followed up with them when we got back to see if it was ready only to find out that it had been done 6 days earlier, and it was raining when we picked it up so we couldn't see the work they did. When we got it home and saw it the next day in the sunshine, the buff marks were very obvious, some of the nicks weren't even touched, and overall the body work was sloppy. It was clear they didn't care about their workmanship, since the car was a sold unit and not making the service department any revenue. Unfortunate, because now we know not to go back to their service department. We will definitely go back to Matt in Sales though and will refer people to him! Thank you Matt!! More

This was my second purchase at Bernardi Honda. Both times I purchased from Josh McClousky. I am a single parent with a fixed budget. I love Honda Civics. They are the perfect car for my lifestyle and budget. I purchased from Josh McClousky. I am a single parent with a fixed budget. I love Honda Civics. They are the perfect car for my lifestyle and budget. Low maintenance, great on gas, and easy to drive and within my budget. But it is more than the car it was the total experience of the purchase process. I can't say enough great things about Josh. He breaks the mold of the sterotypical car salesperson. He was professional, incredibly knowledgeable and understood my needs. My budget was my budget and I had no room to make deals. I had other dealers that were calling me. 2 years ago I bought a Civic from Josh and was so surprised at how nice the whole process went. I contacted him about 3 months ago to say that it the near future I would like to buy a newer version. He worked with me on making the deal happen. There was no nonsense. I had other dealers calling me who did business with me years ago. I wouldn't even think twice about switching to them. I never gave them a thought since my past experience with Josh went so well. Although he had another customer in last night, he dealt with us simulateonously making sure that we were both getting what we needed. I have family members in the near future who need cars and I am sure to take them with me to Bernardi to see Josh. I pick up my car Saturday morning. I purchased it last night. Josh is by far the best car salesperson I have ever worked with. I would highly recommend him and Bernardi to friends and family. I want to thank Josh for another great purchase! More
