I have purchased certified pre-own 2008 Infiniti FX35 from Berman's Infiniti on Oct 15. My sales person was Moe and Louis. During the test drive, I have noticed the tire pressure light was on and the sal from Berman's Infiniti on Oct 15. My sales person was Moe and Louis. During the test drive, I have noticed the tire pressure light was on and the salesperson(Louis) stated this can be due to hot/cold weather. So I bought the car and upon driving the car, I have noticed that the light was still on, so then I went back to the dealer and Louis went with me to the Service Center. All the service center did was inflate the tire, without checking for leaks and let me drove off. I was going to St Louis the wkend after and was going to top off the windshield fluid and I notice that the windshield fluid neck was missing where it connects to the container and when you look down in the hood, it was just a hole without anything covering it. I expressed my concerns to Joel, the service manager and he was going to replace it for me. He have tried to overnight the part for me, but was unsuccessful so I was going to come back after the trip to have it installed and in the meantime he covered the hole with a cap. So it was the wkend and I drove the car down to St Louis and I have noticed that my steering wheel had alot of vibration when I drive pass 60mph. So I drove down to St Louis the whole way that was less than 60mph. I then went to Firestone/Bridgestone dealer because that was the brand of the tires that were equipped. The tech manager showed me the tires were worn unevenly and that maybe one of the causes for the vibration. The tech manager then printed me a statement for the tires and told me to show this to the service manager. I came back from St Louis 10/24 and went to the dealer for the windshield fluid neck and showed them what the tech told me. Without examining the car again Joel stated I will talk to the used car sales manager and see what I can do. So the next day I called them back and they stated we can put new tires and the only thing we can offer is you paying for the tires at wholesale price and we'll mount them on for free. I then stated I still have vibration and Joel told me that's all I can do. So I filed a complaint to Infiniti Corp and stated everything and even questioning if the vehicle was up to certified preown standards. After the Infiniti Corp, Sales Manager, Service Manager have discussed amongst themselves they said the same thing and the car will not be reinspected. So then Joel said we inspect the tires and see what we can do. So after inspection(keep in mind this is the first ever inspection after the whole complaint) was that they found all the tires were unbalanced and one of the wheels had corrosion and they can treat that. So after that the car had less but still noticeable vibration. 2 days after that, my tire pressure light went off again and I went back to the dealer. They check the tires again and Joel told me that there is leaking air from the corrosion tire that is different than the one we treated. All the tires are numbered to a specific ID where the TPMS shows up. The tech told me that the tires were in the wrong location and the previous treatment was to one wheel that probably was not the one that was leaking air. So they treated the right tire that was leaking air and renumber the tire. So then I filed a complaint to BBB autoline because I was dissatisfied at their way of doing business. Joel called me the next day afterwards. I told him about the distrust I have in his dealer and the way they are handling things and then realized the things that are going on. So he was willing to reinspect the car and provide a checklist. I got the car reinspected11/12 and they said that they will change all the belts for me because there was a squeaky noise come out of the engine. The checklist that I was provided had steering wheel vibration and it was cleared.Tire losing air, tire unevenly worn, windshield fluid neck missing, belts needing to be replaced, unbalanced tire with steering wheel vibration I feel like the dealer did not inspect to CPO standards. This could of been prevented if they inspect like they were suppose to. This is false advertisement in what CPO stands for and also neglect in performing standard inspection before selling a vehicle to a customer. I would have never known about the vibration during the test drive because I live in Chicago and the dealer is in downtown. You can't even pass 30mph in those conditions. As a customer I am very dissatisfied at the professionalism of the dealer and the brand that they represent. More

My wife had never purchased a car on her own before and she states they were very helpful and offered a no pressure sale. This dealership actually drove 45min to pick her up so she could get the car and surprise me. I have dealt with many car dealerships in the past and this type of customer service is outstanding and far exceeds any sales department I have experienced. More
I had an outstanding experience at Berman. My main salesman was Bill, who was extremely friendly and approachable without being pushy. Moe, one of the managers, was also great, even offering me his ow salesman was Bill, who was extremely friendly and approachable without being pushy. Moe, one of the managers, was also great, even offering me his own car to test-drive when one of the cars was not available. There were no high-pressure tactics and they were able to praise other competing cars (and dealers!) while being confident about theirs. I was impressed with how Berman's staff worked as a team--they were far more cooperative with each other than competitive. The price I received was excellent and the buying process was painless. I give Berman my highest recommendation in all aspects of the car-buying process. They exhibited true professionalism at all times and I was highly satisfied with the entire experience. More
I made the mistake of trusting their service department for a basic recall. The next time I opened my hood, I found out that they have overextended my hood and badly bent my bracket and could barely get m for a basic recall. The next time I opened my hood, I found out that they have overextended my hood and badly bent my bracket and could barely get my hood closed. How it happened was unclear because they completely denied it when I called to enquire about it and they refused to fix it. Their excuse was that the recall didn't even involve them looking under the hood, but I also brought in a complimentary offer for a basic inspection which certainly did necessitate looking under the hood. When I picked up the vehicle they confirmed that they had done the complimentary inspection and that everything was A OK. When I called the manager to discuss the issue though, he told me that their 'system' was conveniently down for the entire 48 hour period they had my car and so there is no way they would have done that inspection. One way or another, someone is lying. His 'solution' was to ask his technicians if they remembered my exact car and if there was an issue with the hood. Thanks for nothing. If my hood was bent prior to bringing the car in for service, shouldn't they have informed me? If it wasn't bent, then they caused it, in which case, shouldn't they have fixed it? I can't comment on the sales department, they might be fine, but I urge all readers to avoid their service department at all costs despite the limited availability of Infiniti dealerships in the area. I wasn't really intending to buy a new car, but when the estimate on needed work on my G37X (all normal wear and tear) came into the thousands, I immediately started thinking about replacing it with a new G estimate on needed work on my G37X (all normal wear and tear) came into the thousands, I immediately started thinking about replacing it with a new G37X. I used the Internet to shop and get some pricing and then came in and talked to Herbie at Berman after conversing with him on the phone. In very short order I got the best deal and took my pick of numerous colors of fully equipped G37X's on hand. Because I wasn't expecting to buy so quickly (this all happened the day of getting the repair estimate), I didn't have the title with me or even the G35, as it was at their shop. No problem, they got the VIN and brought my old car over to the showroom so I could clean out my stuff in the trunk. I dropped off the title and the second set of keys the next day. The paper work took much less time than at the VW dealership where I recently bought my daughter a car. A first class experience and a far cry from buying a car in the 20th Century. BTW, Marcell in their service department was very polite and efficient too. Rick B More
