Berlin City Nissan had my Pathfinder for almost two months for service for a battery power, computer system issue. We had to call multiple times to try to get updates and questions answered, usually no months for service for a battery power, computer system issue. We had to call multiple times to try to get updates and questions answered, usually no one called back. It took us making multiple calla per week to manage to get someone to answer a phone. With the repair work finally completed we picked up the car on Wednesday evening and the battery light began flashing almost immediately. We made it home, battery light flashing intermittently but car starting and running ok until Saturday. Saturday afternoon I was stranded on the side of the road when the battery drained. So after two months over $500 in parts and over $600 in-service they did not fix the problem at all. I was willing to ignore the poor customer service on the assumption my car had been fixed, but this was both the worst customer service we have had and got back a still not functioning car. More
They denied my 10/100k warranty repair on a two year old car with 56k miles because I did my own oil changes. On top of that I had to call multiple times to get updates. Their service advisor, if you could call him that, was too busy or just didn’t care enough to send a text to update me on the progress. They claim staff shortages but how long does it take to type a message to a customer that bought a new car from them two years ago that they couldn’t drive due to a catastrophic failure of the manufacturer. I used to trust Honda as a reliable brand that you could take 200k+ miles with routine maintenance. Either that is no longer true or Berlin City Honda just doesn’t care. They probably care more about their bottom line than taking care of customers. More
