Service not needed 2013 KIA Sorento in for code 0713 which is transmission fluid temperature sensor. They diagnosed it and found the cable to it was bad and ordered. When it arrived they called and said the transmission fluid should be changed because KIA recommends it be changed at 50,000 and I had almost 71,000 on mine. I said you had to drain transmission to replace part service writer said that is true but we would put old fluid back in. He said it really is a good idea to change it. I told him go ahead and put new fluid in instead of old which he had said KIA recommends. When I picked up vehicle I was charged $70.00 for the fluid which I had agreed to but then charge $160.00 for transmission service which was never agreed to. They were only to replace the old fluid that they had removed with new fluid. Spoke with KIA and there is nothing about replacing fluid at 50,000 miles. Today service manager called and said I had agreed to transmission service over phone when service writer called which is untrue. He called me on my cell phone when I was in vehicle which went over car's hand free and other persons in vehicle heard entire conversation. Also service manager when he called today said Wyoming Valley motors recommends it being serviced at 50,000 because of the salt in this area. The transmission is a sealed unit which is what I told him. He said yes but you agreed to the service. I had state inspection and oil change done also. Windshield was left all hand prints in area of sticker also nothing was reset after they reconnected battery do to replacing cable in transmission. More

Very accomodating. Always manage to get our car in for service quickly. But undoubtedly.. i asked if any coupons could apply to my service, and was told no.
