Fell short with the little things Brought in vehicle per OnStar notification for service at an 8AM appointment. Quick and friendly check in process and put in a loaner vehicle. Simple sensor repair that seemingly corrected the issue. The shortcomings of my experience - Despite having the 8AM appointment, I did not receive a status update until I called the shop around 1PM. Even then, they were not able to give me an estimate. The bulk of my frustrations come from needing to work with the service rep that checked me in exclusively. I came back to the shop to grab my garage door opener and had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to grab it for me. My rep was busy on the phone and did his best to get someone to help while others stood around not looking busy. This went further when I picked up my car the next day. Again, I needed to wait on the specific service rep and had to wait 30 minutes as he was with other customers. And again, I waited while other reps seemed to not be with any customers themselves. I can't imagine that my service information is not in the computer system, allowing anyone to help me out. More

The service staff is friendly, sincere and completely focused on the customer. Vehicles are complicated and expert diagnosis and repair are important for safety and confidence. Oil change without prior appointment Quick, professional, courteous. I live in Fennville and was traveling to Detroit for the day. I noticed I was due for service so I dropped in to Berge Quick, professional, courteous. I live in Fennville and was traveling to Detroit for the day. I noticed I was due for service so I dropped in to Berger's Express Lane. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, reading the paper while in the car the entire time. WBK More
NEVER AGAIN I have been lied to directly to my face at this dealership. Told me I had no holes in my tire and they couldn't find it. I picked it up and there was only 15 psi in my tire. Manager ADMITTED when confronted that they had not checked it. They gave me two oil changes in exchange. Then during an oil change they said that I need to have cabin air filter changed. 20 minutes later they told me they don't have any in stock. So they could not perform the service. Finally my vehicle needed service. Took 2.5 days to change spark plugs. That in addition to charging me for a rental car. When I finally was able to pick up my car. It took over an hour for me to pick up vehicle. This was the final straw, I will not be back and would reccomend people seek alternative dealerships. Stay away from Berger. Al Duncan was the mechanic and he was the only person I enjoyed communicating with. He was respectful friendly and knew what he was talking about. HE did service my vehicle. He was prompt in returning calls. That is the only positive thing I can say. More
