While I was visiting the Phoenix area recently I developed a problem with the automatic trunk latch on my Tiguan. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday and I needed to drive back to Tucson for developed a problem with the automatic trunk latch on my Tiguan. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday and I needed to drive back to Tucson for an event that night. I contacted another dealer near my location, but they said they were closing and couldn't help me. I contacted Berge and although they too were getting ready to close they said if I could come over right away they would see what they could do. I arrived 15 minutes later and they immediately began to diagnose the problem. As it turned out the motor which drives the automatic trunk latch had malfunctioned and needed to be re-set. Although ADAM MUNOZ the Shop Foreman was getting ready to leave he spent the next 30 minutes re-programing the settings. If it were not for the generosity of both Adam and VINCE MEDINA his Service Manager we would have been stuck in the Phoenix area overnight and unable to get back to Tucson. They both decided it was more important to help me at a time of need rather than clock out and go home! In this day and age, where good service is at a premium, both Adam and Vince exemplify what good customer service is really all about! I could not thank them enough and will be forever grateful for taking it upon themselves to help me. They are both outstanding individuals and should be recognized as such by the Berge organization! Came home from vacation to find my driver's side mirror falling off. Spoke to Bob Herbold who quickly addressed my concerns and had me scheduled for repair.
