"Riverview Toyota gives Toyota a bad name" Very unethical, unprofessional business with a joke as a general sales manager. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. You go into purchase the vehicle that you want, and they sell it to someone else, and offer you an older vehicle. I drove 50 miles to this dealership to purchase a vehicle. I had been in two days earlier, and said I was interested. I got the check together and confirmed on the phone that I would be purchasing the vehicle. I even got my offer approved by the general sales manager. The next morning, I called to confirm my appointment to purchase the vehicle. As I was on my way up to the dealership, I get a call from my sales rep saying that someone is test driving my vehicle, but that he would do everything in his power to keep it from getting sold. He called back 5-10 minutes before I got there and told me that the people weren’t interested and that the car was mine. When I got to the dealership, I was waiting with my sales rep who had the keys to my vehicle. Then, another sales rep came in as well as the customer care manager (whom I had also gotten a confirmation over the phone to purchase the vehicle) told me that the people that test drove the car were going to take it. I walked out the door. The general sales manager, Scott Stapley, followed me out to try to sell me an older car that wasn’t a special edition for the same price if not more. He angrily argued with me to try to justify what he did, and he used foul language. He was extremely unprofessional, unethical, and not apologetic to my situation. Do not waste your time at this dealership; they give Toyota a bad name. More

Excellent car buying experience I did some research on trade in value on my Toyota Tacoma to see what KBB said it was worth before deciding that I was ready to upgrade to a Toyota RA I did some research on trade in value on my Toyota Tacoma to see what KBB said it was worth before deciding that I was ready to upgrade to a Toyota RAV4. Riverview reached out to me with a very competitive bid for the model I was interested in. I made an appointment for Sunday and went in. Michael Stein took me out to the lot and gave me all the specs on different models, what each one had, what the upgrades were, etc. Then we went for a test drive in the model I was interested in. Upon returning, he showed me what was available on the lot colorwise. As soon as I saw the purple one, I knew I was going to walk out with a new vehicle. Scott Stapley gave me a rundown on cost and final payment, also showed me the options between the promotional options that Toyota currently was offering. I appreciate the honesty and the complete breakdown of costs before deciding what I was going to buy. I went for the full package with all the options and the finance person (forgot his name) worked out a better extended warranty for my specific needs. Yes, I spent a bit more than I wanted, but finally upgrading to a vehicle that I can use and enjoy for a long time made it all worth while. I also have bumper to bumper coverage with that nationwide warranty. I call it a necessity if I am taking any long road trips, the warranty is honored at any and all Toyota dealers across the nation. Excellent service, and I appreciate Michael spending so much time with me explaining all the features of my new RAV4! More

He spent so much time with us explaining all brands, features and etc. We love Prius and Milan helped us find a new white one. Prius has been upgraded ! I feel like I now own a car that would have been expensive ! As my husband and I hand't considered purchasing a new car Milan sepnt time with us and we realized the advantages to us of purchasing a new Prius as well. I had a Salesman in mind to buy our new car from in Scottsdale when we were ready. Milan by his kindness and genuine demeanor made us want to buy a car then from him. I was merely just dreaming of buying, but that all changed when Gino welcomed me at the door. I started the dream with a click on TureCar and instantly I was put in touch with 3 dealers for pricing. Intimidating and nerve racking negociations ?? NOT at Riverview Toyota in Mesa Arizona, my second stop. And even more so if you get paired with Gino Darmo & Chris Lopez for buying a new Tacoma. Boy did I get an education on the Tacoma, and Chris is the man for taking the Tacoma to the next level. These guys know their business. I felt like I was entering Gino's home for dinner.
