I am significantly revising my original review because of two reasons. First, our experience with the dealership over the long haul had been excellent. Second, the dealership cant fix something if the car sa two reasons. First, our experience with the dealership over the long haul had been excellent. Second, the dealership cant fix something if the car says there's nothing wrong. During our final meeting with Chris, tempers did flare, but frustrations were high on both sides. Looking back on our situation, I have to ask myself what other measures the dealer could have taken that they didn't take? Chrysler even allowed us to have the car checked by another dealer. There again, the car coded no problems. Had I to do things over again, I would probably NOT have traded the Jeep because it performed very well. We will be in the market for a Dodge truck in the very near future, and there is no reason why we, nor anyone else for that matter, shouldn't consider Benson's for their purchase. More
Best car buying experience in a long time, and I buy lots of cars (1 every year). I told them where I needed to be and they worked out a deal that Spartanburg Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge couldn't Get for me two d of cars (1 every year). Very impressed with salesman, finance manager, everybody as they helped me get Jeep Compass. I would definitely shop them again if I decide I like jeep automobiles (never had one before). More
We had the best experience with your dealership! Randall was so informative, and new the answers to all our questions. But everyone was so nice!! and when we were shown the patriot we knew that was the small SUV we were looking for. We have already recommended Benson to our friends, and will be back very soon as we are in need of a second car. More
I bought a used car from the dealership and within a year the engine went out. I took the car to the service department because it was still under warranty. Because the cost was so high I got the run around the engine went out. I took the car to the service department because it was still under warranty. Because the cost was so high I got the run around and this went on for 3 weeks. After enough complaints, calling the warranty office, and paying some of the cost they fixed the car. After one year the car did the same thing and we recieved the same treatment. It's now a year later and my car is starting the same problem. I would never go to this or any other Benson dealership again and I would'nt recomend them to anyone. The only reason they recieved a one as a rating is because 0 wasnt offered. More
Received a coupon for a discount on an oil change but lost the coupon. Contacted the service department via phone and was told that they would still honor the coupon price even if I did not bring in the lost the coupon. Went to the service department and explained the situation and the service manager told me "we can't honor a coupon that you don't have now could we". When I asked how much the oil change would be he told me it would be $27.99. I comaplined that was more than I wanted to pay and the manager then blurted out, well it is $34.99 down the road. I think this was very poor customer serivce and friendliness. While my car was getting the oil changed, I went to work (just across the street). While at work I decided that I wanted a cargo cover for my vehicle so I called the parts department and explained what I wanted. I was informed that it was in stock so I asked them to go ahead and install it in the cargo area of my jeep and I would pay for it when I picked up my Jeep at lunch. When I arrived the cover was not installed so I asked why and I was informed that it was not in stock. I was never contacted about the part not being in stock nor was it on the bill as to why it was not done. Again very poor customer service. I will not return to Benson for auto service for a long time. More
I have been in many service departments, but none that matches this one. Tom is the most friendly and knowledgable Service Manager I know.
