EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, FRUSTRATED, AND UPSET CUSTOMER I have never dealt with a dealership, much less a business like this. I went in so excited and ready to work out a deal. I test drove the 2006 mercury I have never dealt with a dealership, much less a business like this. I went in so excited and ready to work out a deal. I test drove the 2006 mercury mountaineer, which is priced at $10,275. Supposedly it is $3,700 lower then the Kelly blue book value, so it says on the site. I'm a person that researches everything before I decide to buy. So naturally I checked Kelly blue book to see if that was accurate, Kelly blue book prices it at $11,773 being on the highest end. Even subtracting $3,700 from the highest price on Kelly blue book puts the vehicle at $8,073, which isn't even close to 10,275. Apparently it was a big fat lie and they were false advertising. When brought up to the pre-owned manger David priar, he decided to handle it very rudely. He became very smug stating that I must have looked at a different Kelly blue book and that it is priced the way it should be. When I tried to kindly show him that we were both looking at the same Kelly blue book and what the dealership's website was saying, his attitude got worse. So I was the bigger person and dropped it immediately to save argument. So he went over my trade with me. He then wanted to know if I had any money to put down. I said no, I was hoping I wouldn't have to. He said we'd definitely have to put some money down. My husband asked how much we'd have to put down? He then told us we'd have to put at least $2000 down if we wanted the vehicle. I said we couldn't do that. My husband asked if we would put $2000, would we be able to leave with the vehicle today. David told us if we put $2000 down we definitely would have no problem leaving with the vehicle today. I said no we can't do it and we took our infant son and went out to the car. After my husband and I talked we came back in and told David that we will put the $2000 down. David had me call the dealership I got my car from and find out how much I had left on my warranty for my car. I did that he scribbled some math on a paper talked to Roberto and came back out. Then let us know that we'd have to put $4000 down to get the vehicle. We asked what happened to $2000 down? He said he was just throwing numbers and that won't work. He said they didn't call any banks but Roberto knows what he's talking about. We told him there was no way we'd ever be able to do that. He then offered us a 2002 Ford explorer for $9,499. Which made no sense at all because if I wasn't able to get a $10,275 vehicle without putting $4000 down, how would I be able to get a vehicle that is only $776 less. We definitely didn't want to do that, it made no sense at all. So he told us he's sorry he couldn't help us and he'd keep his eye open for a vehicle for us. I emailed Suzy to let her know how everything went and she told me she'd bring it to her manager's attention and someone would be in touch. Nobody cared enough to contact me and discuss it. So I called and asked to speak with a manger. To my utter surprise, the manger was who I was complaining about. When I asked to speak to a higher up, he said Roberto is out of his office. When I then asked to speak to someone higher than Roberto he refused to put someone on and wanted to justify the way the company had treated me. Does this sound like "100% complete customer satisfaction"? I will be posting this same review on as many sites as possible and telling everyone I know about this. I also will be making another review in a week to tell everyone how this company handle my review and my complaints. I truly hope this review helps someone avoid going through the same excruciating experience I had to endure. More
