Came in on time and still had to wait 1 and a half hours to sign paperwork. I came in at 6pm. Had my father in law bring the car in from the test drive 45 minutes (5-5:15pm) early from my arrival time so th to sign paperwork. I came in at 6pm. Had my father in law bring the car in from the test drive 45 minutes (5-5:15pm) early from my arrival time so they can start working on a few things with the car I’m purchasing and wasnt touched until around the time I went signing(7:30pm). Then the car still had the same issue after it was “prepped” a noticeable scratch that was an easy buff. The two biggest issues that really was frustrating was I was offered 22,700$ for my car at another dealership now I completely understand if that offer isn’t matched but I was then only offered 21500$ and was told there is no way I could get 22,000$ extra 500$ this really bothered because the car was in amazing condition. It was then posted 24 hours later for a whopping 25,000$! I’m just really really shocked and bothered by that, but to make things worse all I ask is for complete transparency. When signing my paperwork I was told my APR would be 7.49% with Huntington bank. But then I see a fee of 135$ which I was told two different things. 1st that was yearly but after the person asked a manager they stated it’s a onetime fee however my interest rate then changed to 7.69%. On paperwork it clearly shows my rate is now 7.69% but the manager is telling me it’s really not?! This really made me uneasy. It doesn’t sit will with me at all. The issue is not the .20 percent. It’s the not giving me a clear answer or being upfront about this. Just seems like another dealer adding fees in secret. So not only I couldn’t get 500$ more for my trade but my interest was bumped up and I was charge a 135$ fee I never was told about. 635$ gamble to not have a customer return who my whole family owns Hyundais. I didn’t make a big deal about the 500$ I just let it go after the first NO I didn’t make a big deal about waiting 1 and a half hours to sign when I was on time. I didn’t make a big deal when the car wasn’t properly prepped. I didn’t complain when they gave my father in law the car as a 24 hour test drive with 60 miles left of gas. But in the end with great credit and me being on time and down payment pulling through with no issues I come out an additional 635$. However Raven was amazing and the person that signed my deal was amazing. But man this experience I’ll always remember. More

Bennett Hyundai had a 2015 Camaro advertised and I reached out to set an appointment to see and test drive the car. This was on Monday March 20th. The appointment was set for Tuesday the 21st in the early evening. My son and I made the 30 minute drive and upon entering the dealership and meeting Robert we were informed that the car sold yesterday, meaning the 20th. While I understand this does happen, a quick call or text would have been greatly appreciated. Better yet, in the future you should offer your customers the option to put a refundable deposit to hold the car. After asking to speak to the general manager Tim Eklund he promptly greeted me and apologized. I then asked him why he texted me this morning to ensure that the appointment this evening would still work. No mention of the car being sold is noted in those texts. I proceeded to show him my phone with the texts and he told me he didn’t send the text today and it must have been someone else. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t a “general manager” be aware of what his employees are doing? Especially when it comes to them impersonating him via any form of communications. The sheer denial of culpability on Mr. Eklund’s part was a slap in the face to say the least. Taking care of both your future and existing customers and managing their expectations should be job 1 for any dealership in this day and age and Bennett Hyundai failed terribly. With the internet at the fingertips of nearly every person in this country I can find no reason to recommend this dealership on the sheer basis of how they handle a customer prior to a sale. More
GREAT DEALERSHIP. I highly recommend them. In today's society you see way too many dealerships taking advantage of customers by putting insane "Market Adjustments" AKA I highly recommend them. Was trying to go to my sons wedding in Denver Colorado from Pa . Engine left go in Columbus Oh I towed it back home and took it to Bennett Hyundai . I did not purchase the car from them but they asked abo from Pa . Engine left go in Columbus Oh I towed it back home and took it to Bennett Hyundai . I did not purchase the car from them but they asked about an extended warranty. I didn’t think I had one but called the dealership that I purchased it from and found out I had 157 miles left on warranty. Long story short I took the car in with no appointment they worked it in and found the problem,contacted the warranty company, got the ok , ordered new engine, installed it all within 14 days . Definitely customer top of line will definitely take my car back for other needed service . Great work and good at keeping you in the loop More
