Megan, I am so sorry to hear that you are unhappy with Bennett Chevrolet. I took a look at the approvals that we had, and yes there were some outright turndowns and some with high rates, but I also see that one of our banks offered you a rate of 6.9%. I know there are a lot of low rates advertised by many lenders but they all require a credit score above 700. If there is more that you would like to do, please let me know if I can help. I did speak to your salesperson in regards to your treatment and he felt that everything was great until you left and returned with another gentleman. In todays times of very strict privacy laws, he was very uncomfortable sharing any information about your transaction. He stated that this created an awkwardness and he apologizes. Thank you for your response. My main concern was that the car was priced almost $4000 above Kelly blue book value and when it came to talking about my credit score Steve seemed more set on "that's what it is, no if's, and's or but's about it" instead of trying to explain things. In some aspects he was nice and things did start fine but if I made a comment on something about the car he was very short about his answers and I felt like I was being talked down to. The gentleman who came back with me was my father. I'm trying to purchase my first car on my own and from what was going on between the price of the car and my supposed credit score he didn't want me taken advantage of. If Steve had taken more time out to try explaining the pricing/credit score and if he tried to use nicer words when answering some of my questions or comments it may have been a better experience.
