In June 2011 I called to verify a car was there, the salesman said "yes" after I gave him the stock number . 15 minutes later I pulled up asking to see the car and was told that they had sold the car last weekend. After expressing my frustration to the manager he laughed like it was some kind of joke and said "well you know there is other Honda dealerships". When Leaving the dealership I made it very clear to never call me. Bell Honda called me on 6-18-2011, 6-19-11, 07-11-2011, and 08-31-11 trying sell a me car, I asked to be put on there do not call list every time. On the 08-31-2011 Call, I asked for the manager. After expressing my frustration to Robbie (the manager) he laughed telling me he would make sure Bell Honda would KEEP calling me. More
LIES and DECEIT. negotiated hours, finance said "yah this is worse case scenario, maybe even better rate tomorrow". Signed papers (another 2 hrs)& took car home. 5 days later, got call that need "yah this is worse case scenario, maybe even better rate tomorrow". Signed papers (another 2 hrs)& took car home. 5 days later, got call that need to go back to dealership. When called to find out why, I was told I just needed to sign a few more papers. So went in, and then they told me that the loan wasn't approved unless I could come up with another $1000 down (this all took an hour!!!). Then, in next breath it was, NOT APPROVED AT ALL, and I need to give my car back. THank GOD I had a trade which they returned to me (after another hour)....or I would've been stuck there without a ride home! This is the second time their finance dept gave s "misinforation. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! Went right to Arrowhead Honda, and got an ever better car, better price and EXCELLENT service. SHAME ON YOU BELL HONDA.... YOU WILL SAY OR DO ANYTHING TO SELL A CAR including lies and deceit! More
We had a great experience with this dealership and everyone we encountered in it. Kevin Covington was the person who helped us find the Murano we were inquiring about and located it very quickly for everyone we encountered in it. Kevin Covington was the person who helped us find the Murano we were inquiring about and located it very quickly for us since we were pressed for time. He let us test drive it right away and we loved the vehicle. We felt he was concerned for our needs and gave us a fair price and option to buy the SUV in a short amount of time, also trusting us on the trade we were bringing in that was not with us at the time. He was very friendly, professional and helpful in all areas possible. I would definitely seek his help in the future if needed and recommend him to friends and family. I felt comfortable and he had a no pressure attitude, which we greatly appreciated. Also Lee, the Fleet sales manager was great to us also and the transaction ended today with a personal thanks from him and a handshake. Thank you gentleman, it is the best experience we have ever had with buying a car and will return in the future if we need any help in buying or selling our vehicles. We love our new Murano! Thank you! More
I had a very bad experience at Bell Honda and Jesse Hoffman, Corey and Brian from the "fleet department". As I have read from other unhappy, would-be customer's of Bell Honda, the in Hoffman, Corey and Brian from the "fleet department". As I have read from other unhappy, would-be customer's of Bell Honda, the intitial contact my initial contact was via email and the telephone. I also explained my situation, what I was looking for specifically, and set a time to come in early Saturday morning. When I arrived with my son, who had just finished football practice and was eager to get home (which I had also explained to them the day before I arrived), I was ready for a quick look at the specific car I had inquired about. The sales person I had spoken to, Jesse, was not there for our 9:30am appointment - enter Brian. Brian proceeded to start from scratch, at the beginning of his sales pitch I told him I had already discussed all of the specifics with Jesse and was only interested in one particular vehicle that I was told would fit into my price range. Long story longer, the car I was interested in was not there! He took me to many other cars that were way beyond my price range, assuring me the whole time he could make this work for me. He said he was related to the General Manager. He showed me a more expensive vehicle that I liked, who wouldn't, and we sat back down to review the numbers, by now it was 11 am. When he showed me what the monthly payment would be it was $180 above what I told him I could afford! How was that making this work? I stood up and told him I was finished to which he replied, "well, where are you going to buy if you can't afford this price?" I said, "not here!", and headed for the door. I should have kept walking, because next he jumped up and said let me get my Manager, maybe he can make this work for you. Meanwhile Jesse had made it in to work, I met him. He gives great eye contact - that's when I should have run away as fast as I could, because if someone can lie that well as they look into your eyes, there's not much they won't do to put that dollar in their pocket. Finally the Manager came out, Corey, very smooth, friendly, seemingly compassionate and said, "just drive it home, see if your husband likes it and we'll do what we can to make it work". DUMB! Driving that vehicle home was my second big mistake, my first was not leaving when I realized that nothing I had been told was true. Long story longer still, I drove home, got my husband and other two children, drove back to be given the run around for a few more hours. We eventually settled on the vehicle I had driven home, closer to my price range but still much more than I wanted to spend. My husband was told he could go if he wanted and just leave me there, my car would be ready to drive away in an hour and a half. My husband left, and I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally I caught Brian and said, what's going on, I've been waiting here for hours. He said, "the car isn't going to be finished today so we are giving you a rental to drive home". I was so ready to get out of there I said fine and waited for an additional hour. Finally a car appeared, but when I went to get in Jesse was in the driver's seat. I said, "are you taking me somewhere?" He said, "I'm driving you home". I said, "what about the rental?" to which Brian replied, "oh didn't they tell you? The rental office was closed so we'll bring your car to your work first thing Monday morning." Whatever, by now it was after 5pm, I had wasted my entire Saturday and I just wanted to go home. Monday morning comes around, no car, no call. At 11a.m. I call the dealership, but noone can take my call, I leave a message. Finally Brian calls me back and acts like, "yes, how can I help you?" So I reminded him the car was supposed to be at my office by 9:30a.m! He said, "oh, well the parts just came in so it will be about an hour, I'll call you when I'm on my way". Hours pass, no phone call. I called again and sent an email to Jesse asking, "what the heck?" Around 3pm I hear back from Jesse, he says he just finished with a customer but will check on the car and get right back to me. Another hour passes, no car, no call! I call again, and Jesse acts like he doesn't understand what the problem is. He says, "you know what it's like, for example, at Sears if you have a broken Pressure Washer you might not have all the parts to get it fixed, so you have to wait for the parts to come in". What!!!??? I said, if I had a pressure washer, I would hope that "Sears" would have communicated with me if there was a problem number one, and number two, the pressure washer would be a $300 investment, not $17,000 plus!" Ridiculous! He then proceeded to tell me how they had "bent over backwards to help me and I should be grateful". Wow, incredulous is the only word that can describe my feeling at that moment. What incredible arrogance, stupidity and total lack of customer service. I told him he could keep his car. He said, "but we are getting it all fixed, just for you", to which I replied, "good, now you can actually sell it to someone else". I am not a complainer, and have a good degree of patience and compassion...however, I will NEVER return to Bell Honda, and I will tell anyone and everyone who will listen to me what a bad experience I had there. If you are looking for a car and have to deal with the "fleet department" there, RUN, don't walk. Run away as fast as you can and don't look back, you might turn into a pillar of salt. More
Last month I was looking for a new Honda fit. I called Bell Honda and spoke to Frank. I had told him my budget and he said that he could not go that low but offered an out the door price that was 1,000 ov Bell Honda and spoke to Frank. I had told him my budget and he said that he could not go that low but offered an out the door price that was 1,000 over my budget. At first I did not want to come in but after speaking with my wife and Frank offering me a $25 gas card to come in I figured I had nothing to lose. Everything went excellent I test drove the car and then we went inside and talked numbers. we waited at the desk and when frank came back with the final number it was $1,500 more than he had told me on the phone. At that point I became frustrated because he acted as though he was surprised at my refusal. I told him Frank I won't pay 1 penny over what you quoted me on the phone. He then said ok let me go talk with them. He came back a short time later with a price $400 over what he quoted. I told my wife and walked out the door and told him I was going to go, He said "good luck finding a lower price, I will see you when you come back". We then went to Tempe Honda where Sara, kept her word and sold me the car for the price she quoted me on the phone. A couple days later someone from Bell customer service called and asked why they had lost my business. I told the man simply because Frank lied to me and did not keep his word. On the phone he quoted me one price and when i was at the dealer it was higher. I also asked when Frank was going to give me the gas card he promised. The person wrote down my address and said it would be mailed out. over 1 month later still no gas card. I then went back to Bell Honda to ask what had happened and why i was lied to yet a second time. After waiting for aprox. 15 mins for them to "find" a gas card I asked the salesperson who greeted me at the door why I was not mailed a gas card like I was told? he said he is not sure and there is no way of finding out why he said "I guess you must have fell through the cracks" I in turn responded and said "ok, can you tell me why this is the 2nd time an employee from Bell Honda lied to me and did not keep his word" His only reply was that HE did not promise me anything and that he can't explain why things happened the way they did. In the end I just want to warm people to stay away from Bell Honda because I feel like this is unacceptable customer service and even more unacceptable is the low level of integrity shown by the company and its employee's. If you want to avoid a headache go somewhere else! More

I am so grateful to you that you took the time to first of all listen to my situation so patiently and then to take the initiative to personally walk over to the service department and find my car. I had spoken and explained my situation to at least 5 other service reps and not 1 of them could help me. So Again, Thank you and I appreciate your loyalty to us customers. BAIT AND SWITCH.....agreed in writting to a price for a car, and then when I went in to buy it one day later, they lied about everything......said it was a differant car....but I had the VIN number....then car, and then when I went in to buy it one day later, they lied about everything......said it was a differant car....but I had the VIN number....then the lies just kept coming....they were slimmy, dishonest and rude. They would not honor the price and tried to sell it for a lot more.... Really?? Do slimmy car dealers like that stay in business? YUCK....avoid this place at all costs...waste of time, and energy. My wife and I were extremely satified with our experience in dealing with the Bell Honda dealership, and consequently buying a new Honda CRV LX. The Customoer Service provided by the team of Jon-Paul and Dav in dealing with the Bell Honda dealership, and consequently buying a new Honda CRV LX. The Customoer Service provided by the team of Jon-Paul and Dave Cook was outstanding. The whole process that we were engaged in was well streamlined, highly efficient and well managed by them. For example finding the right vehicle with the desired features, the negotiation of price and our used car trade-in value was agreeable, obtaining a car loan with a low interest rate, and a final quality check on the vehicle at various stages before we left the parking lot. Both of these individuals excelled in customer service and professionalism and should be highly commended. They were very attentive to all of our questions and provided detailed replies, we were not pressured into buying a vehicle and felt comfortable during the whole process, their communiction skills were excellent, and above all they wanted to make sure we were completly satisfied before we left the dealership with our new vehicle. Without a doubt, my wife and I highly recommend dealing with Jon-Paul and Dave at this dealership when buying a new or used vehicle. More
