I have been bringing my A8 to Bell Audi for approximately five years. The staff is always very professional and are willing to explain in detail any necessary repairs. The interior rear view mirror had come loose and was hanging from its mounting. I brought my car in to have the mirror remounted on Monday The service advisor clearly explained that the windshield would need to be replaced to remount the mirror. Fortunately, they were able to jury rig the mirror so it was no longer hanging down. We scheduled an appointment for the work to be done on Wednesday. I dropped the car off and was given a loaner which was immaculate and ready to go. On Thursday afternoon the service manager called to tell me the car was ready to go. I went to the dealership, spoke with the service manager who went over the work that was done with me, as he always does. He found a coupon and deducted $100 from the bill and did not charge me for some additional checks that were performed. I paid the bill and walked out to my car and drove home. At home I was adjusting the mirror and it came loose again. Since the dealership is about five minutes away I drove back. While driving back I noticed that two pieces of masking tape were at the top of the windshield. I pulled into the drop off area and went inside. I spoke with the service manager and told him that the mirror came loose when I tried to adjust it. Unfortunately, since it was later in the day no technicians were still there to fix it. It being two days before Christmas the dealership was closed until the following Monday. I was told to bring my car back on Monday which I will do but for the three days I do not have use of my rear view mirror. This is the first time I have had any issues with the repairs made at the dealership. Hopefully, this can be resolved on Monday. More
