BEWARE!! These people sold me a $25,000 car and when I got home I looked in the trunk and there was no spare tire or tool kit. Couldn't get the tires off to change them without the tool kit. Called them b got home I looked in the trunk and there was no spare tire or tool kit. Couldn't get the tires off to change them without the tool kit. Called them back and they told me I bought the car as-is and that they knew there was no spare tire. I asked them why it wasn't disclosed and they had no response other than to tell me they would not provide one and to go find one from a junk yard somewhere. I understand used car dealers aren't the most honest people but I can't believe a reputable one would sell anyone a car that does not have a spare tire or at least make that fact known before the purchase. BUY FROM THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!! More
When I decided to move and sell my car, to my surprise the car had an accident. Don't roll your eyes and tell me that I should of asked for a carfax. In California it's LAW to fully disclose a customer on the car had an accident. Don't roll your eyes and tell me that I should of asked for a carfax. In California it's LAW to fully disclose a customer on a used car's history, silly me for assuming that the same ETHICAL business practices would be applied in all states. Complete crap. While I blame the law more than I do this company, I still think it's fair of me to give them a poor rating. They knew what they we're doing and should be held accountable for the 3,000 dollars they ripped off of me. How do you sleep at night selling people cars worth 1/3 of the price you put on it and treat me like I'm getting a special deal. Car sales people have a bad rep for a good reason. Oh and the Bengals suck, Mr. Biggest Fan, they always will. More
So far I have a good experience with this dealership. I get my VW's oil changed there regularly. With my type of engine "turbo" it is common for it to go through oil faster than non-turbo engines. With a quick phone call I can go right in and they will top it off on synthetic oil for no charge. Steve in service is great but the other older grey haired gentleman is not very nice and makes it seem like you are bothering him most of the time while doing his best not to look at you. This guy hates life and needs to find another job away from the public. Keep up the good work Steve....as for the other guy...well...go to a higher end dealership, they probably appreciate your type of "customer service". Note to people visiting this service department...just ask for Steve. More
A very informative & professional sales experience. Paul Kane's customer approach is factual, informative, along with a valued, laid back and thoughtfully persistent sales technique. I have never had a bad encounter with Beechmont Subaru and respect them for the level of customer service the entire team gives. Since 2008 I have purchased a new and used car from Beechmont Subaru. I fir and respect them for the level of customer service the entire team gives. Since 2008 I have purchased a new and used car from Beechmont Subaru. I first bought a new Subaru Impreza about two years ago and never had an issue with the dealer ship or the car. When I got my 08 Impreza I was fresh out of school, did not have the best credit and was not taken seriously by other car dealerships. With Beechmont Subaru they took me seriously, listened to all of my concerns, and got me appropriate financing for my situation. The sales staff was not pushy, they answered all of questions or got me the answers to all of my questions faster than I expected, and worked with me on a trade in (a beat to pulp 96 Jetta that survived through high school and college). Overall that experience was great and I got the car I wanted at the right price. I recently came back to Beechmont Subaru to trade in my 08 Impreza for a 08 WRX and the experience was great! I was looking at a handful of cars for a good amount time and put in inquires to test drive two different WRX’s and an Evo. Two of the cars were at other dealerships and one was at Beechmont Subaru. After my experiences at other dealerships I was relieved to walk into the friendly staff at Beechmont Subaru. After just stopping by the other dealerships they would call me two times a day and send me 6 emails a day not even answering my questions or addressing my concerns. At Beechmont Subaru they answered all of my questions, called me during appropriate times, emailed me back with answers to my questions, and addressed every one of my concerns(insurance minimums, financing options, and warranty). While at the dealership once again there was no pressure to purchase the car and this time with better credit the dealer ship worked with me on a trade in value that was right and financing options that fit my budget. I felt like the staff there went above and beyond for me and made it easy for me to purchase the car and even easier to write this review. As with buying a car at any dealership you have to do your homework, ask questions, and do not rush into anything!!! I personally looked at cars for months before I went to even test drive them and then made sure that the price and financing fit my budget which the Beechmont Subaru easily made work for me. I know after driving two Subarus I will not drive another brand nor will I buy from another dealership as long as I live in the Midwest. I would be happy to send any of my friends and family to Beechmont Subaru. More
Mixture of good and bad. The salesman (Mark) was good, as was the description of the vehicle and its condition (a very clean 2009 Subaru Outback XT). It was a nice delivery experience until I got into the c was the description of the vehicle and its condition (a very clean 2009 Subaru Outback XT). It was a nice delivery experience until I got into the closing room where I bought the extended service contract, with the deductible only being disclosed after the price negotiation. Since cancellation for a full refund within 90 days is allowable, and I was in a serious time crunch due to having flown in from out of state, I accepted it and got moving. Further in-depth review of the contract a week later caused me to change my mind, and it was here where the dealership really dragged its feet. Getting them to acknowledge receipt of my cancellation request in document-form was impossible until I got Subaru of America involved. Only then did they send an email with acknowledgement of that request and the method of pending reimbursement which they would honor - no mention of dollar amount ($1,443). Even though the initial payment was on a credit card, the dealership chooses to wait until they get payment from SOA, then they mail a refund check out. In the end I received a full refund, but the process was six weeks long and should have been much shorter. If not for the strangely inappropriate handling of this issue I would have rated the dealership better, but the manner and methods in which promises are kept and delivered tells a lot about an organization. Bought a used car that had "Pure Luxury" painted on the windshield--paint is gone but windshield still has writing on it. Went back 3x to talk to them to see if this can be corrected. First time I was tol windshield--paint is gone but windshield still has writing on it. Went back 3x to talk to them to see if this can be corrected. First time I was told wait 1 week, then 2 weeks, and the used car manager told me this will take 3-4 months. If I knew this writing would be on my windshield for 3-4 months, I would have never purchased this car! I work for a TV station--they'll be all over this the story! AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS. Friendly and competitive. They are, however, typical for a car dealership and will cut the corners of honesty where they can. The salesman I worked with to buy my new Subaru was very friendly and knowledge a car dealership and will cut the corners of honesty where they can. The salesman I worked with to buy my new Subaru was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, he neglected to tell me (and evaded the question when I asked) that putting a $500 deposit on the car in order to have it moved from another dealership signed me to buying that car or another Subaru from the dealership - otherwise I would lose my deposit. They also skipped right over the $250 "doc fee" when listing the fees that made up my total. Finally, they promised me a 3.9apr (which was the reason I ordered the car with the $500 deposit) and then told me I didn't qualify when I went to pick up the car. Instead of telling me that I didn't qualify before having me drive all the way to the dealership, they had me come in and told me there while handing me paperwork from a credit union who would finance me. Of course, I did it their way, but in retrospect it is really upsetting that they didn't tell me up front so I would have time to research my own financing options before going to get the car. Finally, the dealership has a survey that they send out after you buy a car from them. The salesman I worked with said that "anything less than 100% is considered unsatisfactory" and proceeded to give me the impression that he could lose his job if I didn't give 100%. FISHY. Overall the experience was not bad, but I would urge anyone going there to proceed with caution, ask for details before going to pick up a car, and read all the fine print before you sign ANYTHING.
