I am recently retired with a new camper and a stacker car trailer. My truck has to do it's job..........tow things reliably. After several breakdowns related to the engine and associated systems of our 2 trailer. My truck has to do it's job..........tow things reliably. After several breakdowns related to the engine and associated systems of our 2005 F350, we decided it had to go. These all occurred in the 6th year of service, every time leaving us stranded with a gooseneck trailer attached. There were 4 seperate occasions in the last year, the last one 1200 miles from home. These combined with over $3k in repairs bills, the hopes of using the 2005 for many years of reliable towing throughout the US ended. Our need to find the best solution did not rule Ford out entirely (even with the distaste of the significant investment in the 2005 proving to be a the wrong choice to enable our retirement plans). However the only way Ford was going to get a chance to keep a customer was if they stepped up in a significant way. We needed; assurance that the 2011 350 was the right choice, and significant financial incentive. Brent's years in the service field and his (direct untypical for sales)style enabled him to answer my technical questions about how the engineering changes in the new truck addressed the now obvious failures in the old one. This combined with both Jeff and Mark(the owner)at the dealership stepping up to support reducing the costs, and finally Andre, from Ford adding an extended warranty at no cost, Ford got another chance. I believe honesty and professional integrety are non-negotiabe fundamentals for business. Beechmont Ford has these, and as a result they and Ford still have a customer. More
Got exactly the deal we wanted. He did it fast. So, when we got to the dealership, it was in and out. We had spent hours talking to other dealerships who would not help us. Our boys are going to be driving in a few years and we will definitely visit Beechmont Ford when they are looking for a car and will be the first place we go when we need a car again. More
We've worked with Dick Barrick in the past and were happy he and Ford could provide a vehicle that suits our current needs. We met Dick when lookinig for our first van and promised to give him the opportunit he and Ford could provide a vehicle that suits our current needs. Unfortunately in 2007, we were unable to find a fit, but there was never one moment of pressure from him. The salesman was most helpful in finding the exact model and options that we wanted. Normally, buying a new car is a hassel but working with the staff at Beechmont Ford was a pleasurable experience. The salesman, Donald Smith, was knowledgeable and courteous, and he answered all of our questions about the car. And most importantly, we did not feel pressured to buy the car and we did not have to haggle over the price. We were given their best price upfront which was reasonable and acceptable. What a great experience. I have had alot of bad experiences at dealerships and this was the best experience ever. Terry was very nice and very informational. Terry also took the time to inform me that I could get the next step up in vehicles cheaper then the one I actually went to look at.
