Deceptive Dealer Practices After speaking to the internet sales manager, I was given a black and white, documented response to my 15' SRT's trade-in value and overall increase t After speaking to the internet sales manager, I was given a black and white, documented response to my 15' SRT's trade-in value and overall increase to my current loan ($3,180.53 to be exact). I mentioned $3,000 over my current loan, numerous times to the sales manager over our multiple methods of discussions, and he readily assured me each and every time of that financial figure. So, I took off work and drove well over 50 miles yesterday to Beck Dodge to purchase a beautiful 14' Ram Power Wagon; as I was under the impression like most they were an upstanding dealership and the sales department was honest. When it came down to the final numbers however, I was then given an out the door price.. With an additional $5,000 added (now nearly $8,000 over my current loan), with no competent explanation how they provided the previous out the door price 'down to the penny' (other than 'hook-line-sinker' sales tactics to get me into the dealer with false information). When I declined, he then stated how they have quite a few other Rams on the lot for sale. He was speaking as if I had lost $250 in salary and driven 50 miles, to trade-in my 15' SRT for simply 'any' Ram truck; but anything to make a sale, right?! I can picture multitudes of buyers falling for this horrifically deceptive sales tactic, as it's difficult for most to say 'no' and simply walk away; it was even difficult for me at that time. You just don't treat people like that and expect a positive review, especially to a fellow Veteran with his spouse sitting in her military uniform beside him (Yes, she also had taken off work to meet me there, as well as my father, a retired Veteran with 33 years of service). There was a time when a mans word and firm handshake meant something, obviously those times are long past at Beck Dodge. Hopefully this helps someone else before they make the same mistake I did, trusting Beck Dodge of Palatka. More

I took it bac I brought my jeep wrangler in for service because my engine light was lit up. The first day there were not any appointments available. I took it back in the next day but got no diagnosis until the next day. I requested shuttle service & was promised to receive service which never happened. Also, the diagnosis for my engine light was blamed on the gas cap not being tight enough. I have experienced this so called problem before in the past & diligently make sure that is not an issue. The best part of the experience is that i wasn't charged for the service. I would not continue my service with Beck if I didn't have a life time warranty with jeep. More
